- Today we’re making giant gingerbread cookies! Each gingerbread man is a little over 5 1/2 feet tall and is made from insulation foam board. This super simple and fun Christmas DIY project will be the perfect addition to any Christmas setting and is rated for exterior use.

Great video tutorial. I’d like to add, when I did my Easter and Halloween decorations I used paper templates. So when you’re at Lowe’s getting the insulation board, also grab a length of the brown paper roll they have by the exit. Draw your design on the paper, cut it out and trace on as many decorations as you want to make.

These are all very cute. Will have to convince the hubs that it's ok to use insulation board for more than insulation. I would paint a black dot in the center of the "eyes" prior to painting the white to add more interest to the eyes. I love your creative use of ornaments to decorate these. Thanks for sharing. Could probably add some baking soda to the paint mixture and have it look more textured like a gingerbread man or even like a concrete version
