Surprise!
Didn't expect that didcha? Well neither did I!
What made me arrange a non-anime soundtrack?
Welp,
SIMPLY BECAUSE CLASSICAL DISNEY MUSIC IS BRILLIANTLY GORGEOUS.
All those targeted ads and viral videos also contributed to my interest in the Beauty and the Beast movie remake, and honestly I haven't even got the chance to watch the movie itself *wraps self in corner*.
Nevertheless, the music is all that matters to me. I have went through all of the new Beauty and the Beast soundtracks. Despite what people say about Emma's auto-tuned singing vocaloid voice, I still loved and enjoyed the soundtrack as I did when I first got into playing non-classical pieces on the piano. And by far, my favorites are Something There, and Be Our Guest. (spoiler right there)
I actually learned to improvise way better by learning Kyle Landry's sheets, and it was then I truly learned the way of "free styling" on the piano.
Thus, this arrangement is based off entirely of my own improvisation of the song. I notated whatever I felt during that moment. How well does it blend and resonate with you, the audiences, I do not know. Which is why there's the comment section :P
Regarding the sheet, I made a little mistake in the beginning by using 2/4 beat, then realized 32nd notes weren't enough so I had to covert to a 2/2 later. I fixed the sheet to account for 2/2 time, so everything should look a little less scary (maybe).
Some of you might have already realized on the visuals, and yes, I do manually adjust the note's behavior on Sibelius to try to make it as realistic as possible, hence all those excess dynamic / articulation markings. I did something similar with my Aria arrangement.
Let me know how you like this new arrangement style of mine.
Well then, look forward to my next arrangement!

bro it is so hard to find well made, detailed arrangements. great job, thank you sososo much, this is great
OMG your piano skills are sooo good l❤ this Song!
All your arrangements really attest to how the piano is the emperor of instruments. It can be a whole orchestra to itself. Your works bring out the piano's potential, which is why your covers are interesting and inspirational, even if they're terrifyingly difficult.
I don't think our usual community has been exploring Disney much (granted, it's an ani-piano community, which is focused on J-anime), so what you're doing is good. Hope to hear more Disney in the future.

*finally has a change to reply*
*terrifyingly difficult*, I could say the same to your arrangements :(). I n-fact, I think yours is way more intensive.
I think we should start a little circle called : Finger breaking arrangers club.
And I would agree, the piano is really the emperor of instruments. You can essentially just play an entire orchestra by yourself on your free time (when you know how to improvise). Although I particularly loveee the sound of the Flute and Violins for it's legato sound (which can never ever be replicated perfectly on the piano), the piano in the end, always has a "backdoor" to things to imitate an orchestra.
I think what really got me into encompassing an entire orchestra for a single instrument was when my piano teacher showed me how the bass notes of a piano imitated the timpani, doublebasses and various other shenanigans which started to "make sense" the more you pay attention to detail. Its like *AHA* I finally got what you were saying.
As for the usual ani-piano community, yea figures. It's really hard to "cater" to people. I'm slowly just minding my own pace and transcribing whatever seems, fun and musically intriguing. Because in the end, that's what it's about. I currently have 2 J-ani-piano pieces that i've transcribed halfway and have already lost the motivation to do so. (hopefully i'll regain the interest to finish it) but urgh really, the difference between "let's do it to follow the hype" and "omg this is just musicgasm let's fekkin do it" is astounding.
Something-there, has always been one of those pieces I REALLY wanted to do.
So I just recently finished the Beauty and the Beast 2017 remake on the plane when traveling back from Malaysia after a 3 week vacation.
All I have to say was, the entire movie was fantastically crafted, the screenplay was by far the best thing that ever happened because it accompanied the musical so well. I'm finally glad I transcribe this piece.
amazing! i saw "something there" and "advanced arrangement" so i definitely had to click. was not disappointed either!
Always so much detail and work. Perfect dude
Wait wut oooopsss
Um, first? But in all seriousness, this is beautiful, as per usual. Don't stop doing what you're doing!
Never!
Bestttt everr
perfect
Omg beautiful
I downloaded. Thank you so much.
I would LOVE to hear a Titanic - My Heart Will Go On arrangement arranged by you in this similar style! :D
Perfect!!!
Well this is an amazing arrangement! So beautiful :,(
Oh and I wanted to know, why are Kyle's arrangements helpful for improvisation? :o That's interesting!
How should I explain this;
-Kyle basically improvises of basic sheet music which have very basic chord structures.
-By adding some arpeggios using his muscle memory, he details those chord structures
-Next, he adds more detail on his left hand by randomly moving it around (random isnt the right word, but he plays it the way he feels and it just narrates naturally, its something you'll know once you start improvising yourself)
-The final result, is him doing a perfect (level up) of a basic piece via improvisation.
People then begin to notate his sheets, and when you start playing them yourself, you can see very similar hand movements here and there which are easy to catch up to, naturally, you start to develop your own improvising technique.
In the end, it's just really all about muscle memory, chord progression and your own musical sense. At least, that's what I learned.
Sheet Music Desu Mmh very interesting, I experienced quite the same thing with some Theishter's pieces (his left hand patterns for example). I think what I need to be able to improvise properly is some solid music theory that would help me concerning the chords progressions, etc... but it's very difficult! ^^
Nah, the only thing you need to know is every bass chord change in a song. Then if you know your arpeggios (or you can BS-them as long as they sound right, you dont even need the proper fingering to start)
You can already start improvising/.
Sheet Music Desu?
Sugoi desu~
