    It's funny how much the Festool domino is hated on social media. Great looking chairs!

      Yeah it’s kinda amusing lol dominos and CNCs are definitely hated 😆

    I love the walnut great job. Those Diablo blades made that Walnut look like butter when it cuts through. LOL

    Being both into 3D printing modelling + woodworking I've switched to fusion 360. I also have a Shaper Origin -- they have a fusion 360 extension to export faces or sketches. Could speed up the time and accuracy than designing in Illustrator. Just a tip if you didn't know! Enjoying the videos -- cheers.

    Nice build! Did not know if I would like the metal feature, but it turned out really nice. Maybe a sliding dovetail for the backs?

    • @TwoMooseDesign
      @TwoMooseDesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohhhh i really wanted to do a sliding dove tail! I was running out of time and was worried about botching it! Lol

    I despise modern furniture design 😆 but man, these chairs are beautiful! It is a great design. I totally did not think I would like the metal included in the design but the turned out awesome!

    ...and now we can appreciate why these retail for $1000 for a pair. Awesome job!

    • @TwoMooseDesign
      @TwoMooseDesign  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, especially if they are made by hand in a small shop. I would not make these myself for less than $1000 each. It would definitely make my life easier if u made a few jigs but I was only making two.

    • @komoru
      @komoru ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TwoMooseDesign Yeah....if you had a jig, you probably could make an ikea-style kit of these where it would be able to be shipped by UPS and the end user would assemble. Then, of course, you open yourself to liability if some bonehead assembles it wrong and falls off the chair and blames you.

    Add some metal to the footrest to prevent wear on the wood

    Will you ever put the digital Designs up for this project?

    • @TwoMooseDesign
      @TwoMooseDesign  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not unless I make another set, they’re pretty expensive/time consuming so I’m not sure. I do model everything and ended up milling most of the parts on the 𝙲𝙽𝙲

    The only thing I don't like about these is the grain on the seats running side to side. That jumps out at my OCD/ADHD/WhateverOtherWeirdnessYouWantToCallIt and causes me to cringe (sorry, but you DID ask what we think). Other than that, I think they're great! Did you chamfer the bottoms of the legs so they won't chip?

  • @johnnylove6403

    Hate to inform you, but Diablo brand blades are considered a cheap brand. Diablo is Freud's budget-friendly enconmy blades.

      I never claimed it was the best blade on the market. I said I’ve used there products and like them. Not everyone needs a $100 saw blades buy what ever blade makes you happy

      I use diablo blades and think they're pretty damn good for the money. What a dickhead thing to say Johnny Hate.

    • @Zamboni-0805
      @Zamboni-0805 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@morganmetalcraft1206 I agree with the Johnny's comment. Diablo blades are Frued's budget blades. They may be good for the money, but you pay for what you get. if you like Diablo blades then try a Frued blade and see if they are worth the money.
