I think it is such a testament to how abhorrent the systems in charge of the country's children are when Paris Hilton has to testify before Congress about being sexually assaulted and drugged by residential facility staff members.
I think she has done enough. Elected officials should carry ball now. Stop investigating Trump and help these victims. Yes stop investigating victimless crimes and help victims. The ones who haven't committed suicide.
If those things could happen with a wealthy and important family's child, I don't want to imagine what can happen with a poor and/or orphan child.....
That's just it though, the misconception that importance has something to do with economics
Bingo. Families with social influence will tear down any member who threatens the public image.

I think the comment meant that in this case the system is so entirely broken that the usual unfair reality that more money means better care (medically and in care homes) is just not true.
Oprah’s girl school and charities and mother Teresa 😉
Had a friend that was an RN , did home visits for kids in foster care, went to court many times to testify in behalf of the child she was overseeing. This is also a big problem in foster care as well. Predators populate every facet of any system that ‘cares’ for children.
That’s be a use predators prey upon the most vulnerable in society and those that are the most vulnerable have no way to fight back. So thank you for being the one who advocates and fights back for those who silently endure such pain from predators!

These establishments should have surprise visits from those in authority. The scale of abuse in these facilities is eye-watering all over the world, this is not just an American phenomenon.
The cops in town knew we were getting abused and they didn’t care. Or were paid to not care.
surprise visits do nothing. there needs to be systemic change from the ground up. Abuse runs all day every day and kids are groomed and silenced. There needs to be a full rehaul of everything and start over.
These institutions have enough money to buy "connections" to authorities and never really be surprised by visits.
@@DiamondBodyMedia one doesn’t exclude the other. They both should be implemented together.
