I was there 2 decades ago. We didn't have laptops. All programming projects were done in computer labs on the campus. I had to spend many nights in the lab. Addicting to Smoking and Coffee because of the stress is common. Another boring thing was there were less charming girls in the CS classes if you compare that with those in business department. I did well on projects but sucked on exams, but I survived eventually. After graduation, I attended the graduate school of UMBC, and I got all As, which was way less stressful and more practical.
Do everyone use macbooks is it ok to use a windows laptop i am asking this becouse i am a newer student can you please tell me is it ok to use a gaming laptop for this degree

In India we usually go for btech in CS but I have seen many CS abroad students who is not doing engineering but just CS . And I also want to do this CS . In abroad they have 4 yrs of Bachelors of Sci CS but in India we have 3 yrs bsc course in IT and CS or Bca . I'm so confused right now what should I take to do major in CS .

You can still pursue medicine with a major in comp sci. I am in pursuit of medicine + attempting to teach myself code - the majority of both rely on rote memorization.
Lmao don’t compare med school with cs! Med school is so hard CS is ok not that much hard. Secondly CS doesn’t worth it because you can learn these things on your own but obviously MED school is 💯 worth doing!

You can take bca or something like bsc after bachelors you can do internship or you can go abroad for masters
