씨 (Sshi) is an ending partial that means Mr/Miss/Mrs or anything along those lines. So Jungkook is saying Mr. Jimin when he says “ JIMIN SSHI”. Hope anyone found this helpful 😊
He is also saying it in that way because it’s in his dialect ( Busan dialect) and Jimin is from there too. So it’s kind of like their own secret code but everyone knows what they are saying
It can also it can be used to refer to a "close person for you"

I am so early! If I am not wrong, “ssi” after the person’ name always used when you firstly meet or are not close with him/her. It is a way to show respect, which can be translated as sir or madam. However, as we all know Jungkook is definitely very close to Jimin, so he calling Jimin with “ssi” seems very funny.
All his habits are the cutests
-ssi is a term of respect used when your still not close to them. Jungkook's basically going around calling him Mr. Jimin. It started as a joke that became a running joke that just now an everyday occurrence that they hardly even notice. It kinda started as a way to get Jimin to laugh or pay attention to him. It's funniest though when he gets frustrated with Jimin and yells it at him 😂😂 like he wants to yell at him and they have a super friendly relationship, but he uses extra respectful language so he can't get in trouble for nagging his hyung.
Jungkook is actually super respectful and even still uses honorific speech (even though it's normal to drop it after you've been that close for that long and they've told him it's ok if he wants) but the members joke, 'yeah he uses honorifics, but he also hits and throws us and could beat us up if he wanted. ' he's respectful but also a huge prankster and physically strongest of them all

Many probably already told you about the “ssi”, but he has called him Jimin-ah a lot of times and that’s what you call someone younger than you
-sshi is something they use in formal language, so he should call Jimin hyung but he often says Jimin-sshi instead 💀
Taegiseoktrash he also calls Jimin “Jimin-ah” or just “Jimin” just anything except hyung lol Jimin even said in 2014 “You really don’t consider me a hyung, do you?”

What you were talking about: endearing honorifics for younger are -ah and -ie. like Jungkookie, Jimin-ah. -ssi is used for not close people. Like when mcs address a member or sth. So he’s being overly formal to Jimin with a weird voice and Busan dialect(where both of them are from). Saying Mr. Jimin!! So yeah 🙈

I think the video missed a few very common habits he have, he likes to wipe his sweats and tears with the back of his hands, you can see that after performances and him crying. Also he loves to pull his facial hair around below the cheek area. And poke/tap his temple while thinking. He have tons of habits.

Ssi is a form of Mr or Mrs, so it's like he's calling Jimin Mr Jimin. What you're referring to is -ah. If someone is younger than you and has a consonant at the end of their name you use "ah" if it ends in a vowel you use "yah". So it would be Nick-ah and Sara-yah.

Unfortunately there are not a ton of good guides to exo out there... and the unhelpful guides are just awful! :(
I am currently working on an actually Helpful guide to EXO (it's taking longer than I hoped) and hopefully I'll be finished sooner than later. In the meantime I would suggest watching the individual guides by the channel Mouma K. Those are a great way to be introduced to the members. Also why is EXO the Nation's pick is a great video that show their acheivements from 2012-the beginning of 2018 (before the last comeback). I would start with those and go from there. There are of course funny moments and sexy moments compliations for each member as well. :)

'ssi' also sounds like 'time' in Korean.
So there's an added element of funniness because it sounds like he's saying 'Jimin-time!'.
And his intonation is so weird too.
