I have always enjoyed your videos , especially Striper fishing which is my favorite back here in Southern Cali , Thanks man , Keep Rolling please.Just Subscribed and liked.
Sea-Money, I was excited by your latest video! The latest fishing reports, Thursday. Woodbridge,N.J. and north. Legal sized Strippers and cocktail blues have been caught. They estimate, 2 to 3 weeks till the water temperature drops around A.C./Corsons Inlet. I can't wait, very excited for what's heading my way!
That was a great fishing session you got into, and good video footage! I wish we had more stripers here in the surf off of LA/Orange Counties (So Cal). A few weeks ago, a guy caught a 31", 10# striper off the surf here and gave it to me. It tasted much better than the halibut I caught a few days earlier. Keep making good videos!
Dude living in cherry hill, idk if you would, but I'd love to hit some striper like this. Im a fresh waterfisherman but you've made me want to do stuff like this considerably more since it's so close.
How do you like your hobie kayak? I've seen you had some problems with it and saw that a bunch of other people had same issues also. Is it a craft you would recommend?
Ding that popper is hot, too bad im too far to fish there but i hope i can search for that lure and buy it to use on wipers when i go to Iowa this summer.
+marceljax those are LL bean waders, not sure on which specific ones but i will say those boots are not designed for sand and i am looking to get a different pair asap. Ive gone through about 5 pairs of waders in the past year and havent found any i really love
Sea-Money Fishing Thanks man for the quick response .....can't wait to try all the stuff I have learned from watching your vids....and hope I can catch some fall stripers down here in DE.
there are stripers in the bay year round. thy spawn up the james river in the spring. there are only certain times of the year that you can keep them. best action is in january from cape henry to oregan inlet. but the water temps have to be right to get them within the three mile limit. the bay is full of schoolies. off shore is where you'll find the hogs.
This may sound strange but have you ever used CHICKEN LIVERS for bait? Freeze a small tub of it over night and try it and you will not believe the results. I'd like to see a video if you try it.
@@LafIeursdumal A lot of us lake fishermen know about it but there are a lot of Northern fishermen that don't realize how effective Chicken Livers are for striped bass. I got one guy to try it in the mid 90's and he was dumbfounded at the positive results. He basically said he almost got 100 bites out of 100 casts.
Whats your opinion on that rod? likes / dislikes? looking into that rod myself as my main go to surf rod i hate fishing 10'6" + size rods. i like the smaller ones just want your opinion
its pretty good only for lighter stuff like these these smack-its or sp's or metals for tunoids, it gets really good distance on the cast. its light. I dont like how thin the grips are, the old tiralejo had fatter grips and it was comfortable
3/4-3 yep, it can definitely handle 2oz bucktails although 3oz is pushing it. its pretty parabolic and doesnt have the backbone I would want for trying to wing out a big plug or jig.. its a little weak in the knees you could say. I use it for flatheads on the schuylkill occasionally and it gets destroyed by 8-10lb fish regularly.. it doesnt have the backbone to keep them off the bottom, meanwhile my old tiralejo was beastly on flatheads and could still chuck a mag darter. def feel it out at a store if you havent yet, see if you like it
Video is awesome. But the part about keeping the spot to yourself is a bit selfish. No pun. As a fisherman myself I find joy in sharing thre bounty with others. The joy of fishing just needs to be shared.
Never boring watching bass get caught! Thanks for another great video.
I love when the fishing is so good that it gets you hyped like this
One of the awesome day in the surf! The joy in your voice when you were catching all those fish made me want to go out and catch some today
Love the care with which you release the bass !
p.s. this video does not get old! ocean bass are so light in color ! I've caught 'em upriver earlier this summer.
You need to get a flyrod. That was a great spot for that. 8-10wt rod with a floating WF line and you would be having even more fun. Very nice video.
I immediately thought the same thing.
YEE HA !! What a session...love that explosion on the top water....makes your adrenaline flow !!! Brilliant.

I am going surf fishing for the first time I want to try to to catch bluefish and striped bass any recommendations for lures or bait
Anyone
Use clam or bloodworms
for stripers
+TheMasterCasters OK any lure recommendations
small ones, at least. For big bluefish and stripers, use cut bunker
Video is awesome. But the part about keeping the spot to yourself is a bit selfish. No pun. As a fisherman myself I find joy in sharing thre bounty with others. The joy of fishing just needs to be shared.

never realized how much striped bass look like tigerfish
how long is the rod u were using
epiczazelite it's 9'6"
thanks!
'Dang son, where'd you find this one?'🎙
That it's so crazy man
I saw like a 5 foot green striped bass with extremely green neon straps on the beach when I was swimming
Catfsihnig that is actually a green shark or a breed of sand sharks I'm not entirely sure. They are not harmful so you don't need to worry about that
which is the. Location. of the beach
I think that fish around 5:20 was bleeding.
Where is Magic Point ?
Swap out all your treble hooks with single hooks. Makes it so much easier to deal with
Not sure you want single hooks on a popper...
