Hello there, I have a 1975 Lincoln cent with no mint mark in a strange gold color, and around the perimeter I have 8 indents spaced somewhat evenly.Examining them, I am seeing that the gold color is all the way through.That tells me that it's something different from a copper example. It weighs about 3grams.I can't lose the feeling it's maybe something special.I am going to have to read all the comments from you better informed folks concerning it So, I thank you for your input in advance and wish you all can find a gem of a specimen in your searches.

1975 Double die in ok condition graded could be worth 40,000 I don't know if you are really a coin guy. Proof and business strike is another thing that may help you when researching

Well I've collected coin for 50 yrs and it makes no difference how much spacing there is between the motto and the edge of the coin . Also it doesn't matter whether you believe in a Doubled die or not . They are in fact real and very valuable for of them . Also The 1975 Lincoln cent is not known for any errors.

Whether it be for color or maybe if they think it's different in some way , that's fine , but they need to know also how to spot valuable errors and varieties using a loop of at least 10x magnification. I really just didn't understand what he meant when he said he didn't believe and doubled dies. If anyone is interested, look up a 1955 doubled die Lincoln cent and a 1969 s Lincoln cent doubled die and see if they believe in that. That's just for starters. 1983 Lincoln cent reverse doubled die. A person can certainly give it a shot on believing that one. People educate yourselves and don't miss out on what you were most likely missing out on.
LOL I was really wondering about the title of this video because I never heard of a 1975 and it was worth that much money I mean I could be wrong but I've been collecting coins for about 4 years but I have really been collecting them and really shutting them and pretty knowledgeable about I don't think so and you're right I've never heard anybody say that they didn't believe in a double die but I'm going to give this person the opportunity to expand themselves in the coins because it's a really fascinating and wonderful journey and I'm so happy that I've gone on it and I want all that for him and I remember when I didn't know the difference between a double die or machines wasn't that long ago so good job and just keep trying to keep going pray for you to get that money for that coin they don't count on it don't plan your vacation yet
