In the commentary, the directors mentioned that they got a lot of fan comments saying they'd kinda wished it HAD been Jenny's character kicking butt instead of Black Widow. (given the tradition of Marvel/Shield ladies kicking butt, I have to agree)
One of my two favorite scenes with Black Widow. I like how the entire time they didn't know the deadliest assassin in the world was in the room with them.
I loved the expression on Pierce's face when that happened. It was more shock than anything else. Hydra betrays SHIELD, so SHIELD betrays Hydra. Gotta love the symmetry, especially when ole' one eye comes marching into the room.

Robert Redford is still head and shoulders above the new breed of Hollywood actor. Even as a villain, his charisma and his monologues are riveting. He made me want to join Hydra. 😂
The line on 0:28 shows why Steve was so adamant that both hydra and shield needed to be taken down. The world security council was so self righteous that they couldn't see how immoral project insight actually was and the only reason they're against it now is because they know a nazi splinter cell organization is behind it. Note how the council man says "Not if it was YOUR switch", meaning that if project insight wasn't being used by hydra everyone on the council would've gladly used it to violate people's rights to privacy without a second thought.
And in every instance in which she appears on screen Natasha proves she is not just the damsel or the "girl on the team who always seems to require being saved"....she will kick the ass of anyone she has to in order to achieve victory.

IMO it's because Natasha believes in what she's doing, so she throws herself into the work without hesitation, putting her life on the line, and every muscle in her body.

I have to admit. When this movie came out I stayed away. No Iron Man, no Hulk, no Thor. How good could it be? Now, I think it's one of the most watchable of all the Avengers films.

In "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent 33 also has such a mask, but it's not utilised by anyone else. I think I have a way to rectify the problem - It can be said that the mask can only conform to a facial complexion it finds a match with, and a scan can be done with S.H.I.E.L.D., which reveals whether or not one of the thirty masks made (sounds like a reasonable, but still plentiful number), can match someone's face. It's very, very rare that this happens, which is why matches have only been found with Black Widow, Agent 33 in that universe, and only a very, very sparse number of others. This can first be stated in the base where Nick Fury, Cap, Black Widow, and others are hiding out, before they plan their assault on Hydra.
