I thought the jinx commentary was adorable. Somehow it wasn't annoying and it made it feel like a friend was crocheting with you and showed the realities even the pro's face. Thanks for not editing that all out.
Love these - my daughter has requested one in pinks so I'd better get to it! 😂 I often play a tutorial through before I get my hooks/yarn out, so I've got a good heads up for what will be coming and where I might need to pause etc and I find yours so delightful to listen to 😄 thank you for sharing your crochet and your personality, both are beautiful!
I think that's a great idea! Just like reading the entire written pattern before starting. You know what's coming up then. Nothing scary and you can practice something ahead of actually doing it. Thank you for your kind words too. I'd love to see your pink butterflies :)
This is the best butterfly design I have seen, and the only one I want to make. I'm gathering my colors so I can finish watching whilst I stitch with you. Thank you so much! Peace and Blessings to everyone 🦋🌻🧶
Aww thank you - It's almost been 24 hours since your comment, so I hope you've made at least 25 butterflies hahahaha. Joking!!!! It's probably possibe, but one needs to eat and sleep. Thank you for your kind words.
This is such a beautiful pattern! Also i think this is one of my favorite tutorials yet. Its like you're at a friends house and you are crocheting together! Thanks for this!
Thank you so much for your beautiful words. That is exactly how I intended it and all my other tutorials to feel like. So I am glad it has worked. Who wants boring tutorials - that's not exciting. Enjoy making your butterflies. x
This was FUN to make. Thank you!! I'm making a birthday gift for my co worker. And I decided to crochet this with the flowers. I'm sure she will love it. This was easy to make. For a minute, I thought it was going to be difficult.😅🥰🩷
This came out absolutely stunning and im in love with it, i used greens and greys outlined in white and its gorgeous now im gonna do blues & browns, then peachy orange & deep rust color and all outlined in white, so excited to see other combinations, my sis n law loves butterflies and shes gonna be happy im sure, thanks a million for sharing, ur appreciated ❤❤❤❤❤
Perfect! I’m up cycling some jeans that have rips that’s keep tearing I ❤ the fit so wanted to save them somehow. Going to incorporate into my up-cycle jeans! Thank you for the tutorial new subscriber here.
i have purchased the pattern and enjoyed the tutorial i know some are saying oh u have to be a robot and focus on the tutorial but i enjoyed ur commentary because its real relatable and engaging like ur talking to a friend and explaining how to do it. u cnt please everyone but this was clear enough for anyone to follow ❤slowed down or normal speed thank u for sharing keep up the awesome work and tutorials i enjoy watching ❤❤
Thank you so much. And that's exactly how I intend my tutorials to come across. As if I'm teaching a friend who is sitting right next to me :) Thank you for your kind words.
@@theloopystitch love this tutorial. great to hear an Australian accent. Good clear instructions. Ps the problem with your autofocus was the plant at the top. Lol.
you are so funny! I am currently making a temp blanket for my dad, this was the best thing to do to confirm my color choices! Now I can have a part of his blanket (the colors anyway) with me all the time. Thank you!
LOVE this !!! I have been teaching myself to crochet thru videos for a week ... totally newbie here :) . When I saw this.. I had to try ... very happy with my results & LOVED your tutorial. Will probably be making lots more... Thanks for sharing !!!
I'm curious. Do you see a butterfly shaped shawl or a shawl made from multiple, connected butterfly motifs? I can envision it both ways. Wow, wonderful if you can do it! 🌻🧶
That's okay, we all had to start someone. I recommend Googling or looking it up here in TH-cam, find someone who explains it well and take baby steps, don't put too much pressure on yourself, because it can be scary and fiddly but it is all worth it in the end. Think of the things you could crochet 😀
I've had so so much fun making this. Was afraid in the beginning but it's been so easy given how through your tutorial and live your energy. Can't wait to share my results. 😍 Thank you for the tutorial. Now what to do with my butterfly?

Beautiful! Thank your for sharing this tutorial. Just a tip, I think the camera is having trouble focusing because it wants to focus on the little plant in the background.
I looked forever to find a certain butterfly pattern i once knew and finally found it ! And here you are with an even prettier one ! I will make both. 😊 thank you. New subscriber . Toward the last im wondering if this is over my head being a newbie. I have done the basic granny square only. 😮
I think if you take your time, don't put pressure on yourself or expect to know just like that, you will be more comfortable in learning. Without challenge, we cannot grow. Don't be harsh on yourself and practice practice practice x

I think of framing them or make a mobile.
🤞🏾
I love this it reminds me of malenia 2nd phase in Elden Ring❤ I think I will make one in shades of pink and cream❤
Oooh lovely! I am ashamed to say I do not know what that is 🫣🤔😘

hi, this looks beautiful. what should i do if i want to make a larger version of this?
Thank you 😀 I made a larger version, check on my Instagram account (The Loopy Stitch), it does work, you have to keep the same system/pattern going.
Beautiful! Thank your for sharing this tutorial. Just a tip, I think the camera is having trouble focusing because it wants to focus on the little plant in the background.
My camera loves to focus where it shouldn't lol. It's not the easiest one to work with. Even when there is nothing in the background lol. Hahah.
Can this be made into a shawl or a collar? This looks loke an amazing idea
You could use it as an applique 😀

Loving this❤❤❤!! Will there be a tutorial on how to join them?
Maybe, not entirely sure yet. But I would use the pull loop through method. I have a video using this method for my Floral Dreams motifs 😀
Just made one
Yay :)

Thank you :) I have replied to you via Instagram x
Beautiful! How much does one of these weigh and what yarn thickness did you use?
Thank you. It's an 8 ply cotton. It wouldn't weigh too much but that will depend if you use the same yarn, and have the same tension etc 😀
👌Thank's',Mine came out a little tight🤪(My tension)but nice', can these butterflies be joined🤔
Definitely make one or them in a bigger hook....unless it looks likes its about to fly??? 🤔
Can you add to the rows without it getting jumbled?
You can. I made on larger, I think I posted it on my Instagram page. It was multi-coloured rainbow.
I need a big one for my daughter’s fancy dress competition. Any advise?
You can keep going in the same manner. Have a look at my Instagram page, I made a larger rainbow one. 😀
I am so excited to have found this tutorial. Is there a way to make this into a granny square? ( im a suuuuper noob so if the answer is obvious to others my bad)
Haha I love that you added the last bit in :) Not really. Never as easy as it seems.
Here's a question for you. If i wanted to make these butterfly wings on a mogwai doll and i needed to take it uo to 10 rows that can be done easy right? Mogwai like Gizmo from gremlins.
Yes I believe you could make it bigger, just increasing each row in the same way. I'm yet to try and make a really big one - I'd love to see your finished Mogwai doll.
Hermoso trabajo! Me encantaría que tenga subtitulos en español, me cuesta mucho seguir el tutorial 😔
Would make a cute human sweater. A little bigger of course 😊
Are you using cotton yarn?
Please see my previous reply to you :)
What to do, what to do with all the butterflies I need to make!!!
Who cares? Just make alllll the butterflies then decide? hahaha logic, right?
I can't wait to make this! Is this a medium weight yarn? I'll be using I love this cotton brand from Hobby Lobby. Hopefully it works out just fine. Is it okay if I make some of these and sell my finished product at my local market?? I think I want to make a garland. Thank you for the tutorial ❤
Hello there :) Yes, please of course you can sell the finished pieces. It's known as DK Double Knit... which is about an 8ply and I believe it's a bit lighter/thinner than the medium weight in the US. I use a 4mm hook with it if that helps :) And you're very welcome. x
How do you finish all the leftover tales you just cut them off?
Yes 😀 after finishing the rows, I cut the yarn about approximately 10cm, then after completing the final round (white for example in this one), I weave in as you crochet over some of the tail on this round 😀
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Did you throw in a “Bones” reference?
Ahhh I did watch and love that show... must start again. It's been a few years, but can you please remind me what I could have said? :) 🦋
Phalanges. It’s how she played with the babies! 😂
Hi , how do I make it 10x bigger?
You can try and increase each round in the same method or use a chunkier yarn
