@@azadog1233 of course aikido is trash for self defence, it never was for self defence, it was designed for effective use of weapons during ww2, and years later when Ueshiba was old he told everybody that aikido is passive martial art and it should never be used to kill someone. But the real use is when you trying to stab someone with knife and they grab you and try to stop, that is the moment for what aikido was designed, to make you free to move
Two of my favorite TH-cam instructors. Glad John was humble enough to absorb Master Ken’s wisdom. I’m sure John’s future students will be able to defend against this very-common (though rarely-videoed) attack because of this session. Who knows how many lives will be saved by this.

Master ken does not use guns because his eyes are too close together causing poor depth perception and resulting in inaccuracy when using range weapons.
Two guns is like restomping a groin with two feet.
