    Hi Conor,
Thank you for responding to my comment and uploading this vlog. It’s a good insight into your world. I wish I knew more about botany and tending to plants. Perhaps you could inspire/encourage your viewership to take up tending to plants/topiary!? I’d have a go if I knew what to do...
I had to abandon my academic career. On a good day, I like to think it has been placed on hold. I was happily undertaking my PhD and teaching...then ME took hold. I feel your pain...
I became interested in football - much to the surprise of my family. I’m 37. I had not expressed much of an interest in football before now. Chronic illness has made me much more open to new experiences. I’ve become a proud ‘Gooner’ and, if I should have the energy, I like to watch Arsenal play at the Emirates. Strange things happen with ME....
I look forward to your next vlog. Look after yourself!

Hey, thanks for the comment. That is so sad that M.E. has interrupted your studying, but I think that viewing your PhD as on hold is a positive thing. As for the football, I think it's great that you found something to be enthusiastic about! I think I might delve a little more deeply into my plant enthusiasm in future videos, although despite studying plants at university, I really don't have much practical experience, so I'm just trying not to kill my plants at the moment!
Thanks again for sharing your story, sending my warmest regards :)
