Thank you Kevin. We are just trying to do our small part to help make our community a better and healthier place. As far as the barn, I was told by a historian that knows these old barns that it was built in the late 1800's. He believes there are two parts to the barn based on differences in its construction of the main structure inside from one side to the other along with the beams. One side of the barn has axe hue beams while the other part was sawn on a sawmill, he told me. The sawmill beam side is newer he figured and was in the early 1900's. All I can do is take his word for it. lol. I love that old barn and I am going to do what I can to preserve it.
