  • In this video, Bruce Irving discusses the importance of using TH-cam as a pizzeria or restaurant and provides examples of successful TH-cam channels in the food industry. I'm going to strongly disagree. It's almost always going to be a waste of time for pizza shops to post to youtube. If you want to do youtube shorts, fine but you should just be reposting content that you are making for IG and TT. Do not make any extra effort to post to YT shorts. IG and Facebook should be your primary focus as they are better for localization. TT right after that. YT long form should only be approached if your focus is to earn income directly from online. Peddeling Pizza is a great channel and fun to watch but he is also a Gozney affiliate/partner. He did YT when he first started and then gave up on it, I belive he only came back due to this relation with Gozney. Long form content is a huge time suck and beating the algorithm is hard. And even when you do you are unlikely to attract a local audience. Only 0.2 of my viewers are from my state. There might be half a dozen people in town who know who I am and I have over 75 million views just on YT. The only realistic reason to advertise on YT is if you are selling something online. It can be affiliate, direct sales or like you, selling a service.
