Quick question. When redcrest was on lake norman what end of lake did you fish? Did u stay up on the take off end or was you on the queens landing end?
"Always think outside the box that's how you win tournaments" Some of the best fishing advice I've heard in a while. Thank you for the information have a good one sir.
New to serious bass fishing since this past Father’s Day. We have fished nearly everyday since and have caught over 150 bass. That’s between myself and my 11 year old son. We’re addicted at this point and just want to keep learning. Thanks for the informational videos on this! We absolutely appreciate it!
Mr. Evers I could sit and listen to you talk about fishing for hours! Your experience and expertise are second to none! So thank you for all you give back to our sport of bass fishing!
Who doesn’t love a top water bite? Thanks for sharing. Love your enthusiasm. The Buzz’n Toad is so much fun and an easy way for me to introduce the grandsons to top water fishing. I’ve thrown the Spook for decades, but never a Berkley walker. I need to give them a try. Tight lines.
These videos give new, inexperienced anglers as well as guys that love to fish 2-3 times a week. new ideas and great information. Thanks for help thinking "outside the box".
there is nothing better than that blow-up on a top water any time of the year. i remember a guy winning a BASS event on Grand on a buzz bait while it was snowing
You’re totally right I’ve been watching you for a long time and I was scrolling through videos while I was watching yours. It seams like everyone has a top baits of the month video. Trend setter and one of the all time greats thanks for all the great information.
Thanks for all the information you give out for free! Love watching you videos. Between the where to fish and the top 3 bait choices, I have learnt more about how to and where to fish!
Easily my favorite type of fishing. Unless the conditions are absolutely wrecked, it'll toss topwater for a couple hours a day for most of the year. Thanks for all the tips E.
Nothing like a Topwater bite! I remember fishing a tournament where it was 100 degrees and it ended up a buzzbait was the ticket. Shallow grass was where the bass were at even as hot as it was. Thanks for sharing the tips.
Nothing better than a top water bite thanks for all of your help and information and tips but also thanks for your time that you use for all of us and good fishing
Thanks for the FFS update! I'm still old school and do my due diligence with water temp, clarity, etc. The walkin' baits have never been easy for me, but I'm still working on it. So thanks again for these pointers
This morning I did a little frog fishing and it was good but I’m going to try some of the ones you showed in this video. I appreciate the information and it makes me excited to get back on the water!
Summer time is one of my favorite times of year for bass ! Topwater is on all day on most days depending on shade , laydowns or docks . Thanks for the info Edwin 👍! 😊
Thank you Edwin, i have been struggling the last couple weeks. I feel it is due to the lower oxygen. I am going to go shallower for sure. Keep up the great work!!! Thanks again for all you put into these videos.
Awesome!! Topwater is my favorite way to catch bass! Thank you for explaining the reason why on each choice. So clear and easy to understand. Thank you Edwin!
Well, with a number like 666 (my viewer #) my hopes of winning the drawing this month are looking pretty slim! I did buy some of the baits you highlighted though. I lost almost everything in a wildfire a few yrs. back and have slowly but surely been building my gear back. I did managed to save my boat, it was hooked up to the truck, and the main things. My wife & both our hunting dogs. The rest went up in flames. Nothing like starting over at the age of 65 but it's not how many times they knock you down, it's how many times you get back up.
The videos are awesome my grandson and I look forward to listening to your tips I have fished small lakes and ponds my whole life and have been addicted to the buzzbait for years now and my grandson is to thank you for all the videos we look forward to them
Mr. Evers that has been my pattern all summer long on the Cumberland River (Old Hickory Lake) I have had 4 top 5 finishes with 1 win in a small tournament I fish throwing buzzbaits in shallow water, full sun, and on wood. Its kinda crazy because the early morning topwater bite is nonexistent until late morning when it gets hotter. Never thought that the Oxygen level is better. Thanks as always for the video's and the info you share!
You are exactly correct. Oxygen levels are a big deal in the hotter temps. Topwater is the number one bait shallow. Vegetation is great providing oxygen shade cover bait everything a bass needs. I really enjoy your videos and anytime I can watch you live.
Thanks Edwin, I'm a Grand Laker and just getting back in to Bass fishing. FFS was not a thing when I use to fish tournaments. I'm not going to go there this time around either, I just enjoy being back out there and relying on skills from years ago. I'm sure liking some of the new baits that have come along over the years.
Thank you for taking time out of your busy life too share your knowledge with all of us to help us to become better fisherman. Top water is probably the funnest way to catch a bass. Right lines buddy!🤙🎣
Edwin these are awesome baits. My wife & I a week ago was on the lake we caught a 5plus 4. 3plus and two 15inches . I was using a Buzzbait she got her on a mess. Couple days later I went by myself caught 3lb plus 10 or so smaller ones all on buzzbaits. So I'd agree this is a great time for top water. We're in Kansas. Thanks 🎣
Thanks for ANOTHER terrific video. Am personally not much of a frog fisherman or top water fisherman, but am going to give this style a try.. Thanks again. Keep up the good work.
I love fishing outside the normal box! Top water is also a top choice, thanks for the option and especially the thinner stick bait in clear still water. All the best.
Thanks for the great info. Your videos are a great help with where to get stated and different baits and methods to try that I haven't fished before. Unfortunately I don't get on the water enough. Thanks
Edwin, Love the breakdown on when to use the various Berkley walking baits and frogs. Anxious to get out to my local bass lake and give these techniques a try!!
Subscribe, Share & Comment 🎣 thanks y’all!
