I've been commenting on your videos for months that YOU discovered a method for becoming invisible to bots (in survival) way back when you did the video about trolling Tapebots. I think you should do a multiplayer Bot Battle, like Totally Accurate Bot Battles. Also make sure to build obstacles. Everyone gets 25* The Tote is 1* The Hay is 2* The Tape is 4* The Explosive is 5* The Farm is 10*
dunno if you're old enough to remember them mr.scrap, but back in the day you could get pop guns that'd have a red tape with little bubbles that'd explode when pressurized by the trigger pull; they always came rolled up. i have a feeling that was some inspiration for the red explosive tape, but this is just speculation and my own opinion. keep up the good content.
You guys should do strategy Multiplayer Monday in creative where you guys get limited amount bots from the starting and fight in a designated battlefield with spud guns already set up (like turrets) in a castle siege or tower defense (it's your pick) but both teams will have an army (bots army) at there disposal, like if you guys want him to do it. Ask if anyone needs a more detailed explanation of how this works.
Multiplayer Monday idea: Bot Wars! 1v1(or 2v2 if you have 4 players) battles. Each player (or team) spawns an army of bots, in whatever formation they want, and paints them. You must be able to fit them all in an area of a certain dimensions (yall choose those, I dont know the dimensions of the spawners cause I dont play the game myself). These spawn areas are positioned such that there is a battlefield of the exact same dimensions between them. For an extra challenge, play in a map that has uneven terrain. Each player starts with 30 points. Totebots cost 1 point, haybots cost 3 points, tape bots cost 5 points, and farm bots cost 10 points. No explosive tape bots. If you are doing 2v2, you can spawn 1 woc per person to distract the bots, but remember this may distract your own units as well. You do not have to use all your points if you do not want to. Play it tournament-style, mix who goes against who each battle (mix up the teams if 2v2). 1 point for a win, player with the most wins after everyone has fought wins the round. Play 3 or 5 rounds, your choice. Each round, everyone gets 5 more spawn points than the previous round. The winner of a round gets an additional 5 more points for the next round. The player with the most overall wins at the end of the game wins.
multiplayer Monday but its bot wars where the bots cost points and you can only use a certain amount of points that go up each round. After each round you can add on more bots with the extra points and change your formation. You can't change you formation mid battle or just before the battle starts, It has to be in the building time which is 7~10 minutes.
Dude, Multiplayer Monday: Robot Rampage Race At parts of the race, bots are released ahead of the trigger, so you have to fight your way through if you're in the lead. Final one has a quartet of Red Tapebots on terrain-made towers (so they don't target their towers) and a pair of Farmbots dropped into the road.
You should make a build and destroy type game, Like if Kan made a farm bot army to go against your base filled with farm bots or protecting it and see who wins.
I was thinking about the new bot-swarmer called the cable cutters, the word that got me thinking was cable. Could we use cables to remotely control creations? That would make defending against the red totebot a lot easier.
Uhh you can already do that with the connection tool and spud/sensor wires (not sure of the official terminology but scrapman used them to de-lag his base) Also the big guy is call Big Red
@@softpaw6234 one, while I think the spud sensor is cool, it's hard to make a fully operational robot with it, and Im 90% sure that the big red is the strange looking farmbot. @@clockwork9366 you can do that with the connection tool as long as you keep everything connected to your base, and you can make a pipe rope for flexibility
MM IDEAS: -Tower defense with aggroall on a certain player and the rest try to defend the aggro player in their own made defenses -Home defense: each player makes a fort and the player stands in it with aggroall and see how fast a certain army of bots will get to you. This can be expanded by using traps to defend yourself. -something like totally accurate battle simulator: each player makes an army and faces the army of different players and see who made the best army. You can play around with different (imaginary) values for each bot. f.e. green bots are 1 point, scrap bots are 3, tape bot is 2, red tape bot is 4 and big guy is 8. and each round there will be a certain value limit for the army. This can be further expanded by not lining them up on 1 line but trying different formations etc... -'Zombie' survival game. players make cars, tanks,... and get aggroall on them and try to stay alive (keep moving, if a player can't move with his vehicule he is 'dead') as long as possible, the other players keep spawning bots until the survivor is dead. -air, water and land in 1 race, as the name suggests: a vehicle that can do all. Can of course be altered and for example only do land and water: an amphibian car.
I think the reason that the other bots aren't affected by fall damage and the Farmbots are affected by it is because the lighter you are, the slower you fall, and the smaller bot types have less weight meaning they are being pulled down by gravity much slower whereas the Farmbot is huge causing it to be pulled down by gravity much quicker, making much more of an impact on itself.
You guys should definitely do an army battle, like make your own formations, strategies etc, and the last man standing, their team wins. everyone gets the same no. and type of troops, and each round, you can increase the max bots
like i said in the last video, you need to play tabs in scrap mechanic. basically everyone has an amount of bots, and you place them in an arena to fight each other.
I want to see more of the same ratios being tried multiple times. Like once you've honed in on the ratio where it seems close (5 hay bots) run a few at that ratio. It's fun to watch and interesting data.
this is more for a multiplayer Monday, but a defend the block could be fun. each person makes a car that has a destructible block that a tape bot could hurt, and the try to defend it for as long as possible. anything like this could be fun.
Multiplayer Monday idea: battle bots strategy-based bot war. Each player gets a number of bots and they should destroy the other players's army using strategy and formation
I have an idea for the next multiplayer. What about you do a war with bots. Like everyone have like 500 points. And every bot is with an amount of coins. Like maybe haybots with 50 point farm bots 300 points tape bots with 100.every one has to do a tactic to win the fight.and each one paint his bots with his color of course.i hope you like it
Scrapman, you went on about battlefield tactics like it only applies to ranged warfare.... 4 totebots can take out a haybot if you have the 4 surround the 1 because a haybot has 2 attacks; a sweep for "normal" damage and a thrust for "higher" damage. If it thrusts through 2 or more totebots, it gets the advantage as it'll probably end up killing them. So when you pit 20 vs 7 and have them mash head on, you're giving the battlefield neutrality advantage to the haybots. Every bot has the disadvantage of having a limited attack range, be it a a single direction or 20 degrees to 160 degrees-ish in front of them or the red tape bots stupid blast radius, so having multiple attacks coming in from all angles ends a bot faster than having all the attacks coming in at its own angle of attack.
Do a multiplayer Monday challenge where you have to build the strongest base and survive a horde of bots. Whoever's base survives gets a point. And after each round/wave you can upgrade your base.
There should be an update for survival mode, where later in the game you are able to build your own bots to defend your farm, plant crops automatically, and etc.
Oh yes! years after the TABS videos dried up, Scrap Mechanic got your back for totally accurate battles to see how much you need of Unit A to beat Unit B and get different results each time you try it.
An arena that releases bots in waves and you have time beforehand in the arena to prepare from scratch. There would be trees, rocks, some water, and some other somewhat farmable natural resources, then you have to survive either as long as you can on your own or you have to clear the whole thing together I believe this would need health integration into creative though but I hope you keep this in mind in case they do!
Multiplayer Monday idea here. find out how many bots you can spawn before it gets really laggy then split into teams of two and place you army around and area and whoever wins gets points ect. for example both teams get 5 haybots, 10 greenies and 3 tape bots. you could make an arena out of tier 3 metal if they dont attack that most the time and then whoever is the most strategic with their bots will win
Another thing to test, since bots won't attack bots of the same colour, is the same true for structures. Say, could we have a green base for green bots and a blue base for blue bots?
As far as I tested the menu-build-area, everything that is able to move will be kind of frozen in the menu. For example if you've build a constantly rotating object, it will function normally as long as you are in the building-world, but when you leave, it will be frozen and not moving inside the mainmenu.
ScrapMan in the past: Okay let's fight off this raid! Me: Casually watching... ScrapMan today: Do bots have any hostility towards Glowbugs? Haybot: Yes. We do. ScrapMan: OH NO THEY DO I NEVER KNEW THAT! Me: Well that seems to be part of the reason ScrapMan's castle keeps getting attacked in survival mode. The Haybots want to kill his cute little Glowbugs.
Please create a ring of bots and place one small explosive in the middle then shoot the explosive. I have a feeling that it will break all the containers but not injure the bots. If I am correct, this would make for starting wars much easier.
In a multiplayer game, make bot carriers and race them with bots inside or whoever makes the strongest wins. Just a suggestion, you can change this to your liking.

I think the lag while spawning is caused by the capsules flying off. During the 20v20 totebot battles it stopped lagging when the cages hit the ground
me: watching the bots fight
ScrapMan: sounds like an announcer/narrator
Another thing to test, since bots won't attack bots of the same colour, is the same true for structures. Say, could we have a green base for green bots and a blue base for blue bots?
You ever just be like "just take a moment to bask in the beautiful design of the tape bots"
Now that you know the target limits, you can build platforms for the tape bots and have rules for your boats/ vehicles when you do evasion races.
scrap man do a alarm system to release bots to attack someone when they do something or trigger some type of trap or a plane that para troops bots
30:42 you can see the totebot that shows up at the end get LAUNCHED out of the battlefield lol
As far as I tested the menu-build-area, everything that is able to move will be kind of frozen in the menu. For example if you've build a constantly rotating object, it will function normally as long as you are in the building-world, but when you leave, it will be frozen and not moving inside the mainmenu.
"Thats a lotta damage"

Scapman flexing his frames on totebots😎
Scrappermon: Gotta salvage 'em all!
when that tape bot was being a cool guy who doesn't look back at the explosion
I have a great idea, what if factories were added to scrap mechanic meaning you can build your own army in survival.
Scrapman: I am gonna see when the frames drop below 60.
Me: I'm happy when I get 40 frames.
THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE 😆 (11:34) perfect 👌
Scrapman for multiplayer Monday should do a bot wars, each one of them will place down certain bots and color them to their color, and well.
In a multiplayer game, make bot carriers and race them with bots inside or whoever makes the strongest wins. Just a suggestion, you can change this to your liking.
22:13 Should have put a tape bot in there. He would've felt like Tallahassee from Zombieland!
Day 13 of asking scrapman to do : we searched for "normal" on the workshop for perfectly normal creations!
Hehe I want to suggest on another multiplayer episode with the other guys, make an army against each other using bots.
