Just found your video and I already know I will enjoy them. Can you do a process of you buying on FB and how you go about it. Also how you go about selling your stuff raw and grade from start to finish (packaging and doing shipping labels and what not). Would definitely appreciate it. Keep up the work!
Another great video! Would love one where you explain a bit about what you mentioned at the very end, how you need to sell the graded items to customers, in order to get funds to buy more cards. With so many of the same types of cards you are selling, how do you handle selling them all at once? Seems like a flood of an item into the market will cause prices to go down.
Great question. Duplicates do take longer to sell, so I’ve been leaning on auctions/consignment to move duplicates more quickly, even if that sometimes results in lower sale prices. For my business model, turning a profit quickly is often better than waiting for the highest price. Thanks for watching!
yep, you're smart about not taking on the risk.. back in 2018, 2019, 2020 I was doing what you're doing now on a massive scale with mostly MLB, some NBA, NFL.. got out of the game in 2021 but miss it. There were definitely many guys who went under trying to hold Zion & Ja. People don't realize how rare the Mahomes, Bradys, Lebrons actually are, impossible to know. My suggestion is if you're able just hold back a few slabs of all the top guys in each sport and sell off the majority. That's what I did with mine, now I have a room full of slabbed Ohtani, Acuna, Soto rookies
I love when guys like in this video talk about price of cards. It ain’t worth shit until you’ve sold out. Until then, you’re out the money and have cardboard.
@@synergycardsAny recommendations for getting rid of the smaller base wemby slabs? I graded a ton of the smaller base wembys but can’t get rid of them. I use eBay with a fairly big eBay store. Maybe I’ll just have to understand it takes time for stuff to move
I’ve been auctioning a lot of my duplicates, which has been hit or miss. I’ve had a lot end for ~10%-20% lower than recent comps, and a few end higher. But it does keep things moving.
Another good video. I notice you focus on Wemby, Lebron, Mahomes. Do you grade much Steph Curry? I would think his values are close enough to Lebrons to grade. Working on submitting more myself after being apprehensive for years. Done pretty good on Wemby so far
Yeah Steph is another good one to grade. Just have to be a bit more selective but there’s definitely lots of potential there as he has a big collector base.
Yeah there’s lots I could give. I think the biggest thing is just be patient, start small, and make sure you’re grading the right cards. The ideal is to have a pipeline of orders at psa so you can always been selling and buying at the same time. It takes time to build that up though. I’m currently working on a video that will be covering a lot of the logistics of my business, and I’ll be sharing a lot of tips there. Thanks for the support!
Are you sure that the Kobe Bryant Stardate shortly after the 5-minute mark is authentic? There are a lot of fakes of that card floating around, and it doesn't look real to me.
@@synergycards It may just be the lighting in your video. The fakes that I've seen do not have a holographic sheen on them like they're supposed to. I can't tell whether yours does or not, but it also looks really dark. Either way, good luck with it.
@@DerethACthanks! Yeah I didn’t even really think about that and it’s out of my hands for now so we’ll see what happens. I’m sure I’ll include it in a future video especially if it’s a fake
those tall thin plastic cases are literally the worst..nobody in the hobby wants them in ANY of their cards..please put all of the cards in a nice platic top loader..the standard ones..thank you for protecting the cards the way they SHOULD be
lol.. top loader snobs are the worst. Talking like you’re some gatekeeper for “the hobby” 😂 get over yourself You’ve obviously never submitted to PSA before, card savers are what they want you to submit cards in Its really not a big deal - and if we’re being real there are better options than top loaders too
My man's a beast and now he getting rich ... remember the 10-20 card psa videos now it's 100
Come a long way for sure! Thanks for the support!

Also could you do a pre submission of psa and what your process is and what you look for and what is worth? Thanks!
Yeah these are great suggestions! I’ll try to cover these things in upcoming videos
@@synergycards awesome thanks!
I put out a video about my Facebook buying process. Feel free to check it out if you want.
Hey love the content. I am new to grading and am wondering if there are grading specials every month with the collectors club membership. Thanks! ❤
They don’t have specials every month but they seem to pretty frequently these days. Hoping they lower their prices permanently to $15.99 per card

Awesome! Yeah I definitely should be more firm about setting aside some cards here and there. Thanks for the suggestion!
i think the kobe stardate is a reprint. I've bought that a few times on ebay and it's not as glossy as it should be.
Yeah someone else mentioned that too. It does have more shine in real life, so I’m hoping it’s legit.
I sold a prizm tiger 1/1 juan soto auto psa 10 today $1100.+
Congrats!

You’re right. And then I sell the cardboard for more than I bought it for, which is why I’m able to keep doing this. Pretty simple

It’s a tough thing to weigh. I could $0.99 auction them but then risk a loss

New to the channel. Any tips on growing the way you have?

Scored 2 mahome rcs today
Good stuff! Always good to grade clean Mahomes stuff
Congrats on the record month!
Thanks! I appreciate it!

I’m confident that it’s authentic. I bought it from a trusted dealer. I guess we’ll find out for sure in the next month or so though 🤞

The only reason I use the semi rigid holders is to submit cards to PSA. That’s what they prefer. Everything else I store in top loaders.

Its really not a big deal - and if we’re being real there are better options than top loaders too
