We plan to move to the Minneapolis area in several more years. I have so many places I want to explore in Minnesota and and Michigan. Thanks for sharing! Just what I need! Go Blue 💙
We live just over the border but love Michigan. My wife is originally from Maine and MI is like her favorite state now. Hope you get a chance to get home soon.
Really nice video. Camping in the snow is not my thing. But, that was very enjoyable. You were well prepared. Your wife's cole slaw looked pretty good. The lantern lit hike was really cool. You guys picked a great spot to set up camp. I have been to the Porkys once, and it was gorgeous. It's really neat seeing it in its winter glory. I'm hoping to go back this fall. I appreciate your well-made video.
Funny you mention the Porkies. We just left there on our way to Maine. They definitely embrace winter here.. lots of activities. The lantern hike was really cool! We had a good time and my wife always hooks me up with some good food 😋. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, it was. Seems like hot tenting is really gaining popularity. I've hot tented a bunch, but for years I would just rent a hot tent. Finally purchased my own this year its cheap but im happy with it. Would much rather have a snowtrekker but a little more than I can afford. Hope you end up enjoying it as much as I do.
I have winter camped in the Porkies several times in Quinzees and once in White Tail Lodge. Your video brought back great memories. Thanks
Thats cool, I've never slept in a quinzee I'll have to try that.

Me too! Don't know when or where, but I need to get out there to stay sain.🤪
What an awesome lantern hike!
It sure was. I didn't take part, but they were roasting marshmallows and had refreshments and stuff too.
Looked like a great adventure. I am just getting into hot tenting. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, some really cool experiences! I hadn't seen inside a warm tent like that. Quite a haul? Lantern nightb hike was were cool too!
Not really a haul. We could've camped at the actual campground but that would've been to easy. 😆 definitely a cool experience though!
gotcha, way to take the tougher option :)@@UpNorthAdventures
Awesome trip, I stayed in the White Birch cabin back in October. When you light that big stove in the cabin it gets 100+ real fast!
Thanks. I bet, not much space to heat for that size stove. That cabin was sweet though.
