You can tell FishWhisperer has been around animals a long time and is recording it because it is rare and cool, not because he needs content. As a kid i fed the bass horse flies that were trying to bite me. I had the fish conditioned to swim to shallow water when they saw me. These videos remind me of those memories 👍

I’d keep a pair of scissors handy to cut off smaller pieces of shad for those curious baby turtles. Should give ‘em a sample of what could be the good life…hand-fed free food by some giant overlord.
Use a polarizer filter on your camera to remove the water reflection so we can see the gar. Get yourself some polarized sunglasses you can see past the reflection as well!
Looks like some sliders, red-eared sliders most likely. I had some in my pond awhile back they are so much fun and so cool to have around enjoy them while they are around because they tend to move allot and also are prime targets for predators.
We have an invasive red-eared slider issue at the local community college. I wish I could magically transport some of them to your pond. Despite the fact they're invasive, I rather like them and wish they could go to a nice place. 🙂🐢
