Cinnamon Roll from NYX in their Buttergloss formula is super greige; I’m also fair neutral/oliveish and that gloss is really useful for neutralizing colors that are pretty but kind of “much”, it’s also just nice on its own.
Came here to suggest the same thing!! Especially after seeing NYX London on Hannah look pretty much like that on me, Cinnamon Roll is sometimes a little too muted for my taste but looks absolutely gorgeous worn in/blotted down. Same for me when I tried the Ulta “Dusty Mauve” color, I’m also pretty pale but I’m cool toned (I guess I’m what some call a ‘Soft Summer’). This color’s lavender tones look really bright on me compared to her, not unflattering but not reading very ‘grunge’ on me at all 😅

I am even more rare, a *cool olive* through and through meaning it is MUCH more challenging to find cosmetics, particularly foundation that work out of the jar. I mix pigments, add blue and green foundation pigment drops, etc, Just ONCE in my life I want to experience what it's like to use a foundation that matches my skin tone, that blends in and disappears on my face perfectly.
@@violetviolet888 similar boat here.. no foundations match me immediately so I mix the nyx green colour corrector in. Even cool toned foundations go orange on me because of the depth of my skin tone. Olive is truely the forgotten undertone because it's impossible to find a good shade without customising with colour correctors 🙃
@@quintecence I suggest you move up from the NYX green primer and move on to Mehron Makeup Liquid Face and Body Paint which is pure pigment and will not change the formula of the foundation. Use blue which will counter the orange. I have it in both green and blue and use blue most often. If you look up the review for blue, you'll see why it's life changing for olive undertoned people like us.
The Juvia’s Place gloss in Brown Sugar is one of my faves! I also really love the shade Nubian Nude. It’s a more grungey neutral taupe gloss. I have that Le Nonchalant shade and it’s such a slightly off-beat not quite on the nose rose tone. I love that formula.

My mom was a Revlon Rum Raisin wearer but I remember her having the Coffee Bean color in the 90’s too. I myself liked a L’Oreal fuscia purple shade (to rebel 😆 I was like 13)
For anyone reading comments who loves the tower 28 glosses: I found that the Revlon lustrous glosses are formula dupes! I'm not sure if they have all the same colors, but I did find a perfect dupe for the shade pistachio, which used to be my favorite tower 28 gloss. I got the Revlon for 2 dollars on sale on Walmart. I was so pleased to realize it was the exact same as the tower 28!! I will say, nyx & Maybelline probably have the most amount of interesting nuanced colors for drugstore lipstick. For a video like this, I think the shades cinnamon roll (described as a gray brown on Ulta), spiked toffee (a mauve brown), and marshmallow (a muted lilac) would be the most promising. I know a lot of people love the formula, though I haven’t tried it myself. I just always see those shades, specifically cinnamon roll, when I’m browsing and think of you!
I had the opposite problem with Essence, I was looking for a brown and ended up with a mauve-grey lipstick. If you can still find it is “just perfect” in the long lasting formula❤️ thank you for your videos dear Hannah!
@laurac.1219. Interesting: What is your skintone and undertone? What foundations work best on you? Are you fair, light medium, dark or deep? Does gold or silver jewelry look better on you? Are you warm, neutral, or cool in tone?
Love this! Very fair skinned with cooler undertones. I actually call myself “Lipstick Challenged Lisa” because almost everything just reads too bright or too orange on me! Trying the last one FOR SURE (and maybe the Juvia’s place glosses).
The Juvia’s place bullet lipsticks have some grungy colors in the mix. Toffee comes to mind. And also (while they may be deeper) the Mented lipsticks. Dope taupe is a great one from them.
As of late September 2024, I know some grungy drugstore lipsticks you might really like. They are Revlon Super Lustrous (old school lipsticks with the black and gold casing, ZERO smell/perfume) in the shades Plum Baby (greyed taupe/plummy shade with just a little bit of frost) Smoky Rose a grungy slightly frosty dirty rose color, Naughty Plum a creme color that is a very grungy dark plum that I think would look smashing on you and tickle the grunge color lover, Laidback Lilac which is a cooler creme formula grungy nude, and the final one is Desert Escape which is a dirty mauve that can pull a little more orange depending on your coloring. It looks smashing with NYX Suede lip liner in Moonwalk, as do all the other aforementioned colors or MAC Stone lip liner. Happy hunting! Oh, and Walmart in-store carries all those Revlon colors I mentioned, for $6 and change.
I can't remember the last time I was so excited for a video!! 💜🎉 I would love to see a Part 2 of this, and also a blush version. This was so fantastic! Give me all the grungy, purply, gray browns foreverrrr 🙌🏻
Your viewpoint on desaturation and level of gray in color formulas is just so eye-opening! I was testing a new foundation yesterday and I looked at myself in the mirror and thought ‘just like Hannah would say, it’s too saturated!’ 😁 btw I own the Shiseido ColorGel LipBalm in Juniper and I think it might be interesting for you, it’s quite sheer, but adds this neutral brown/grey to the lips that no other lip product I’ve ever had has done!
oh yeah have you tried adding black to complexion prodycts? it can kinda work like adding grey since lighter shades already have white in them otherwise you can add blue to a foundation that is too orange or green to one that is too pink - it will make the end result more muted and less pink/orange. I am very curious about your thoughts on adding black though since it does not change the undertone but only how muted a shade is.
Try #6 Tan Lines from the Sephora collection. It’s described as a satin cool nude. I mostly use it as a top coat for colors that turn unexpectedly bright (orange) on me to mute the color.
Back when I bought exclusively drugstore (there was no Sephora in the 80s & early 90s) Nude lipstick shades weren't really a category like they are now. I think it was Bobbi Brown who really pushed the idea of "pinky-browns" & desaturated, natural tones in makeup. But I digress...before that became a concept in cosmetics I always looked for descriptors that indicated a warm but neutralized lip color. So, if a shade name included Woodrose, Tawny, Brandied, Toasted, Burnt etc I knew I was on the right track. If the formula was sheer, even better. It's much easier now to find those desaturated, natural shades in lighter tones for fairer skin. I can't go quite as grey as you do, but I do avoid those bright pinks & oranges as much as possible. Glosses are nice but my favorite formula is a sheer bullet or tinted lip balm for ease of use. I'm not a lipstick person in general & don't like having to layer 3 different lip products (lipliner, lipstick & gloss) That's far too fussy for me.
the OG Bobbi Brown 's lipsticks were revolutionary and such a delight to me! Allllll those true natural tones! And her yellow toned powder...game changer.
My fave grunge lipstick is Essence Ultra Last Instant Colour Lipstick in 05 So Un-Grey-Tful YES IT'S GREY-Purplish without being deadly and it is divine grunge in my book. The formula is wonderful. Also, H&M's lipstick in "So Cocoa" is a terrific brown with a cool purple tone so it isn't overly brown or orangey in the least. For me it's a better version of Lisa Eldridge's Velvet Decade in both color and formula ..it's not so very matte, glides on, feels great. YES PLEASE give us more vids like this, really enjoyed it. Thank you, Hannah!
It's so nice to find someone who appreciates grungy color the way I do. I've been on the hunt for grungy drugstore colors even though I have merit lipsticks which are my favorite. I love affordable options. Lately all I want is a grungy color story from all my makeup.
I really love Sephora cream liquid lipsticks!! They are matte but not drying, very long-lasting and not pricey. I find 40 Pink tea (greyish nude, not Pink at all) and 23 blush crush (grayish mauve) quite grungy.
I just ordered the RMS lip2cheek in Spell because has that kind of old gum color. It is described as a modern nude, dusty rose. I watched so many swatch and trial videos so I am optimistic about the color! It hasn’t arrived yet but this video has me even more excited about it 🎉
I never ever thought I’d wear a color like 1990 until I met your content. I think I was afraid to try anything not pink. I dipped my feet into the pool of brown lipstick with L’Oréal’s Le Beige and now I’m entering a WHOLE NEW WORLD HERE HANNAH - I’m loving it!
i really love drugstore content about nuanced shades, excited for more to come! i have nyx's milky gloss in "milk & cookies" and i think it would be a dupe for the essence "milky cocoa" (unfortunately it also has a kind of hate it or love it chocolate scent)
I think a good lipgloss that is what you were looking for here is the NYX This is Milky Gloss Milkshakes Began Lipgloss is the shade Ube Milkshake, grungy purple-grey.
I'm afraid we're going to require a swatch video where you compare these with any other Gone Greigish lip products that are still kicking about... (please)
Man I went on a grungy neutral dark nude gloss journey maybe 5-7 years ago trying to find stuff like this. Most either did the pigment lines thing you mentioned or were too sticky or had a weird smell.
Thank you for this, as a cool toned desaturated person I love these tones too. You may like the Sephora Collection Glossed Lip Gloss in the shade #Blessed which Sephora calls a Pink Taupe. On my cool undertone the pink comes across but it's still very grey brown too. The site doesn't really show the color on any models or swatches but google image swatch searches may give you an idea of how it'd pull on you.
Revlon ColorStay Satin Ink Liquid Lipstick in the shade Perfect Storm. Temptalia has some great swatches up, definitely looks to be in the HLP wheelhouse.
Hannah! Gucci A Royal Scandal is discontinued. I think we would all love a video where you searched for a dupe. Drugstore and/or other high end brands.
I really took notice of that L’Oréal matte le wood lipstick!! And I think you would like the Revlon Super Lustrous shine in Glistening Purple. I think it’s what you thought the Juvias place gloss was maybe going to give you.
A greyish puce called 'Love Love' from Sephora Collection's Lipstories lipstick line is a hidden gem and has me ending my search for my version of the storied HLP 'old gum' blush. I also use Vacation Goals which is a similar tone but deeper. Never had Gone Greige, but both look to be very comparable. SC has a lot of duds, but the mattes in this line are creamy and top notch for anyone wondering.
I’ve got a neutral completion that is slightly on the warm side and I have the hardest time figuring out lipstick colours. What is did is when I last decluttered my lipsticks for wrong shades or formula I experimented a little by melting them together in a spoon and poured in clear quad palettes from Amazon. I’m pretty happy how they turned out and exited to use them up this way.
I really like le wood nonchalant. I have very good luck with longevity with it. It does run a bit pink on me though. My top favorite though that you should try is the nyx smooth whip in the shade memory foan is pretty close to gone greige. The formula is completely different but the color is good. There is a butter gloss that is a good color too, i think it is cinnamon roll.
I mix my own base products - for tone and coverage level - have you ever thought of cleaning out some lip balm pots or small pots from moisturizer minis, and custom mixing your own lipsticks? The formulas don't ALWAYS get along, but I have success, for the most part. You could apply it with a brush? I think you'd really enjoy that.
@@amyamy8177 Yeah, totally. I just mix a little bit of base product at a time; I'm sure you'd have to also mix just a little at a time for lippies as well.
She did this to make a custom "old gum" blush over a year ago with her Salt New York stash. It'd be cool to see her try to make something similar to Maybelline Gone Griege with them, too.
do you ever make hairstyling videos? i love the way your hair looks in this video! i love watching your color videos to hear the color theory, what you’re looking for, and how excited you get when you find what you want. it’s just funny because we are entirely different undertones so the things you love would definitely not be flattering on me. which means i’m watching for your personality rather than actual recommendations… well not entirely true, your reviews of the formulations at least let me know which lines to look at even if we wouldn’t be drawn to the same shades. i’m glad you found some lip colors you love!
Hannah, if you do this sort of video with blush, I'd love to see you include the Covergirl Cheekers blush in "Soft Sable" It's a very desaturated, slightly glowy, neutral-leaning mauve-toned shade
This video had me swatching lipsticks from my collection and comparing colors. I love your videos on color. Your hairstyle makes me think of your OG videos and I’m here for it❤
These were all gorgeous on you! And I'd rank them exactly as you did. I have a such a hard time finding colors that don't look garish on me. I don't know how to translate what I see in the tube to how it will look against my skin tone. It's nice to watch someone nailing it!
I remember buying Fresh Brew way back in the early aughts when JLo did that song that featured LL Cool J and she had those concealer toned lip looks 😂 I wanted that effect for myself and the MAC artist helping me recommended that lipstick!!! 😂😂
HERE for this video and any others in this vein that you 🤞🏻hopefully🤞🏻 do in the future! On the subject of drugstore grungy lip colors, I keep meaning to comment or dm you that I recently found & bought Gone Greige as a lipliner, and wondered if you'd ever tried it and how it compares depth-wise to the lipstick? I've never seen the bullet irl so can't tell if I'm holding a skinny pencil's worth of the hard to find HLP shade or just its supporting character friend...
Super helpful video. I am older, pale complexion with an olive undertone and struggle to find lipstick that both looks good on me and that i like (nit a fan of pinks, peaches or reds). Very interested in seeing future vids in this vein.
Elf hydrating core lip shine in estatic! It's a black honey kind of shade with more purple and cool-toned. I don't know if you will like it, but I do and I think it's very unique!
nyx does still have some funky colors in there. The butter gloss has some great nuanced browns, and my personal fav of the soft matte lip creams has always been abu dhabi but might be too dark for you (I also havent used in a while so who knows maybe it's orange too)
I think I have a very similar skin tone to Hannah and Abu Dhabi looks pretty much like London on me (and London on me looks like it on Hannah in the video), maybe a touch less peach, but I honestly felt kinda stupid I got both because they are more or less indistinguishable on me. For anyone wondering.
I love LE velvet lipsticks! This actually sold me on trying the “la wood” color - a chance to try sorcery without actually trying sorcery 😝 if I could fly to London and swatch it at a pop up I would - but this will do🎉
Omg this was so fun! I love listening to you talk about formulas! All these colors looked gorgeous on you. I know you dont care for pink but that revlon lipstick was pretty on you. Also loved that essence gloss 😍
Hannah mirrors my current search to replace my favorite discontinued maybelline totally toffee. A few of the ones you picked have sat months in my cart, and now I’ve seen the color NOT TURN ORANGE on you, I’m finally buying dusty mauve. Le beige was an instant win for me when, similarly, I saw it applied on you
That first juvias place gloss is one i wear every day i love it so much! It's very glittery and a classic sticky gloss that hydrates my extremely dry lips. 💙
I am so excited for this video!!! There are not enough grey/griege lippies that I am aware of. Even nudes are a struggle to get truly cool toned (for me)
I used up two whole bullets of Milani Matte Naked in high school because I had never come across such a nice browny nude before. I did not even know, at that time, why I loved it. Now I know it's because I'm very dull in coloring and it didn't lean too bright or too deep. Color analysis is really so amazing. I won't ever stop singing its praises.
Hannah, have you tried Revlon bullet lipstick in Desert Escape? It’s a muted, smoky violet. I think you might enjoy it. As someone who has similar coloring, just a bit warmer and more saturated, the shades that were not great for you look amazing to me! So I have a shopping list now! ❤
Love this video and the journey of finding the best grungy makeup! I enjoy going way beyond wearable into the very obvious grungy colours. If you’re looking for a wild card, try looking at Revlon’s Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Moonlight. It is a slate purple-grey colour.
Could you do a video on the best make up to use with fingers xD I'm too lazy to use brushes and clean them and just want to quickly apply my concealer and blush without fussing with it haha
Speaking of searching for a muted, muddy, greyed-out lipstick: A couple months ago, I bought some samples from Rituel de Fille, and one was the Lip Sheer in “Lilium”. This shade was described as “neutral shadow peach.” Personally, I think it is more of a cross between a gray-ish, brownish mauvy peach. Basically, the sample looked very gray. And let me tell you, this was such a lovely natural looking lip color on me! I am light with olive undertones. It was on the muted side, not bright whatsoever, which was exactly what I was looking for! Too often, natural lip colors look TOO bright and becomes the center of the attention on my face, and I’m tired of that. I want to do a eye look and then put on a little lipstick and have them compliment each other, not clash with each other! However, when I went to order the full size a few weeks later, on Memorial weekend to be exactly (I had no intention to shop for the sales, it was a coincidence), I discovered Lilium was sold out and when I contacted the brand via Instagram to see if it would be restocked, I learned that not only was Lilium out of stock, but it was also out of production 😭 My search continues. (EDIT: perhaps, that Ulta lipstick will fit the bill…hmmmm)
Lilium was originally limited edition as a moon drop but then they brought it back. Maybe they'll bring it back again? I hope so, it's such a great color!
Thanks so much for another great video! I know many people don’t like liquid long wear lipsticks but I feel compelled to suggest Revlon’s 16 hr Colorstay Overtime in Taupe Time. Think this color is on your wavelength, gray/taupe. Perfect under other lipsticks to tone down brights while great on its own.
I haven't checked all the comments, and I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're thinking of but my favorite is L'Oreal color riche Mica, which is frosted. I think it's grey based.
One of the "grungy" colors in the drugstore is Makeup revolution Ceramide Swirl in Cherry Mauve. I'm very pale and desaturated, and this gives a gentle grey-purple tone to my lips, in a liquid lip balm formula basically :)
I thiiiiink it might have been me who made the comment? I have literally no idea. I either asked in that video for more nuanced shades from the drugstore, or I dreamt it happening because it's what I yearn for all the time. 😂 Currently I'm using a gloss from Moira that's a really mucky purple brown shade and I love it so much.
Hi Hannah, was just about to write you about Juvia's Place! Have found searching this type of color does not read the same in the online swatch as it does in person. The last 3 years, I've been very lucky shopping online, but recently have also found some disappointing orangey lippies. I saw the Juvia's Place Badass Matte Lipstick in Nina. They describe it as a brown pink. I have a rose undertone. Have to see it in person. Thanks so much for this survey! Very exciting 😀
If you're looking for a true grey-brown lip gloss, might I suggest trying the NYX "this is milky" gloss in Cookies and Milk. I have grey tones in my lips and that tends to match them for reference I am a medium olive skintone on the value range of an NC35 (although that shade is very peach). It looks warmer in online swatches but it's much more grey (to my surprise when I bought it based on the online swatch) I hope it piques your interest! Try looking at it in person!
Also props to L'Oreal. 'Le Wood Nonchalant' totally sounds like a name that Joe would come up with in another video where he involves himself
😂
that's exactly what Joe said when he learned about it
I love how it looks on Hannah
In a way it's named casual wood. 😄

@laurac.1219. Interesting: What is your skintone and undertone? What foundations work best on you? Are you fair, light medium, dark or deep? Does gold or silver jewelry look better on you? Are you warm, neutral, or cool in tone?
"At least weird-adjacent." Hannah here speaking my language, yet again.
Love this video!! Essence does have great makeup! Please do blush and eyeshadow next!🤩💕👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰❤️💕🤩
The revlon ultimate suede is my favouite formula. It dries down to a ling wearing finish, but is somehow still hydrating instead of drying.
I would love if you could try more makeup from the drugstore. I just really trust your recommendation
@magdasamojlik1158: Add a few drops of moisturizer to reduce the intensity of your foundation when applying.
@@violetviolet888 thanks, I tried that, but I think that only works if it’s too dark.. this foundation is just too saturated.
@@magdasamojlik1158 No. It also works to reduce intensity because it's diluting the concentration. Try thicker moisturizer.
oh yeah have you tried adding black to complexion prodycts? it can kinda work like adding grey since lighter shades already have white in them otherwise you can add blue to a foundation that is too orange or green to one that is too pink - it will make the end result more muted and less pink/orange.
Hi, lipstick twin here!
Oh please please please do a blush version of this! I could listen to you talk about the nuances of color and formula ALL DAY LONG!! LOVE YOU!😘💋💜
I needed this video been on the search for a grungy blush shade. No luck. So please do that one! Love the channel.
It's so nice to find someone who appreciates grungy color the way I do. I've been on the hunt for grungy drugstore colors even though I have merit lipsticks which are my favorite. I love affordable options. Lately all I want is a grungy color story from all my makeup.
Brown sugar from Julia’s Place looks great on you!!
It hasn’t arrived yet but this video has me even more excited about it 🎉
That Ulta lipstick is currently on sale for $5.00! Just ordered - thank you!
Your skin and base makeup look really gorgeous here. ❤
i really love drugstore content about nuanced shades, excited for more to come! i have nyx's milky gloss in "milk & cookies" and i think it would be a dupe for the essence "milky cocoa" (unfortunately it also has a kind of hate it or love it chocolate scent)
The Nyx Lip Lingerie shades as well as the Nyx Shout Loud lipstick range has some amazing grungey funky colors!
5:22 this frame made me think of period dramas in which the costume department can't face the makeup-less reality of the period, so they just don't
Please do it for blushes next!
2nd, 3rd and last were the best!
I think you'd really enjoy that.
you have to be very careful about shelflife since preservatives in one product might not work for a different one and that can be quiet unpredictabe.
@@amyamy8177 Yeah, totally. I just mix a little bit of base product at a time; I'm sure you'd have to also mix just a little at a time for lippies as well.
@@Impassion that's good :)
She did this to make a custom "old gum" blush over a year ago with her Salt New York stash. It'd be cool to see her try to make something similar to Maybelline Gone Griege with them, too.
PLEASE do Grungy drugstore eyeshadows😭🙏
do you ever make hairstyling videos? i love the way your hair looks in this video!
i love watching your color videos to hear the color theory, what you’re looking for, and how excited you get when you find what you want. it’s just funny because we are entirely different undertones so the things you love would definitely not be flattering on me. which means i’m watching for your personality rather than actual recommendations… well not entirely true, your reviews of the formulations at least let me know which lines to look at even if we wouldn’t be drawn to the same shades. i’m glad you found some lip colors you love!
I feel you on the scent sensitivity. My first trimester with my son whenever i smelled coffee i felt like i would puke.
Hannah, if you do this sort of video with blush, I'd love to see you include the Covergirl Cheekers blush in "Soft Sable"
It's a very desaturated, slightly glowy, neutral-leaning mauve-toned shade
This video had me swatching lipsticks from my collection and comparing colors. I love your videos on color. Your hairstyle makes me think of your OG videos and I’m here for it❤
These were all gorgeous on you! And I'd rank them exactly as you did. I have a such a hard time finding colors that don't look garish on me. I don't know how to translate what I see in the tube to how it will look against my skin tone. It's nice to watch someone nailing it!
I love Maybelline's 'Gone Griege', MAC'a 'Kinster' & 'Fresh Brew' (discontinued) - loving a grey or yellow tinge.
I remember buying Fresh Brew way back in the early aughts when JLo did that song that featured LL Cool J and she had those concealer toned lip looks 😂
I wanted that effect for myself and the MAC artist helping me recommended that lipstick!!!
Wow I really enjoy that Revlon Ultimate Suede on you!
@@Sarah-sf3zp I was actually curious about this because I never picked up london and had always debated it!
I love LE velvet lipsticks! This actually sold me on trying the “la wood” color - a chance to try sorcery without actually trying sorcery 😝 if I could fly to London and swatch it at a pop up I would - but this will do🎉
Oh my gracious!!! ❤ What a delightful video!!
Brilliant video idea ❤️ On me (light-medium olive) the Elf heart core lip balm in delightful is a really nice mucky, muted mauve!
Loved loved loved this video. Bring all the grungy colors on!
Omg this was so fun! I love listening to you talk about formulas! All these colors looked gorgeous on you. I know you dont care for pink but that revlon lipstick was pretty on you. Also loved that essence gloss 😍
I love the wet n wild matte lipstick in mochalicious. It could be exactly what you're looking for. It's a beautiful grungey purpley brown color.
Hannah mirrors my current search to replace my favorite discontinued maybelline totally toffee. A few of the ones you picked have sat months in my cart, and now I’ve seen the color NOT TURN ORANGE on you, I’m finally buying dusty mauve. Le beige was an instant win for me when, similarly, I saw it applied on you
What a fun video, I’d really like to see you pick other drugstore color cosmetics 😊
of course, wanna watch other categories!
That first juvias place gloss is one i wear every day i love it so much! It's very glittery and a classic sticky gloss that hydrates my extremely dry lips. 💙
I am so excited for this video!!! There are not enough grey/griege lippies that I am aware of. Even nudes are a struggle to get truly cool toned (for me)
i wear and appreciate the same lip colors - the l’oréal looked so pretty on you! the ulta color def hits wearable grungy.
i enjoy these videos!
Nyx moonwalk lip liner is an all time fav ❤ very grungey. Has the purple and the brown and the greeeiigggeee ❤
I love using the NYX soft matte lip creams as blush!
L’Oréal color Riche in Le Mauve Indomptable is my go to
I used up two whole bullets of Milani Matte Naked in high school because I had never come across such a nice browny nude before. I did not even know, at that time, why I loved it. Now I know it's because I'm very dull in coloring and it didn't lean too bright or too deep. Color analysis is really so amazing. I won't ever stop singing its praises.
These colors look so lovely on you. Such an elegant look on you.
Would love to see your opinion on the Wet and Wild Toffee Talk, to me it looks like a brown grey
It is a slate purple-grey colour.
love this trend so much, really want to see interesting drugstore blushes 🥰
However, when I went to order the full size a few weeks later, on Memorial weekend to be exactly (I had no intention to shop for the sales, it was a coincidence), I discovered Lilium was sold out and when I contacted the brand via Instagram to see if it would be restocked, I learned that not only was Lilium out of stock, but it was also out of production 😭
My search continues.
(EDIT: perhaps, that Ulta lipstick will fit the bill…hmmmm)
Lilium was originally limited edition as a moon drop but then they brought it back. Maybe they'll bring it back again? I hope so, it's such a great color!
@@ipetzombies Oh, good to know! Fingers crossed!
I bought Lilium at the special discontinuation price and fell in love....I'm glad I'm not alone in hoping it comes back!
That Juvia’s place color is fantastic!
😂 Currently I'm using a gloss from Moira that's a really mucky purple brown shade and I love it so much.
blush definitely nyx taupe
Hi Hannah, was just about to write you about Juvia's Place! Have found searching this type of color does not read the same in the online swatch as it does in person. The last 3 years, I've been very lucky shopping online, but recently have also found some disappointing orangey lippies. I saw the Juvia's Place Badass Matte Lipstick in Nina. They describe it as a brown pink. I have a rose undertone. Have to see it in person. Thanks so much for this survey! Very exciting 😀
Revlon ColorStay Satin Ink Perfect Storm 024 is another muted grey mauve (lilac tinged) gloss that's buildable!
