Anybody who are frustrated with low level characters and weapons... let me tell you something... DON'T RUSH, DON'T TRY FINISH THIS CHALLENGE if u dont have at least level 60 weapons and characters. Stop rushing, if u complete this world level goes up and u will be in a world of pain while dealing level 70 bosses with ur under level characters and weapons. Don't try to increase ur Adevnture rank instantly. Go fight bosses gather ascension materials. U can easily gather them up while u have under level characters. Level up ur characters and weapons. Then finally go do this Ascension challenge.
it's better to do the quest as soon as you can because even if you dont ascend the world levels, you still gather EXP for adventure ranks so you might jump from AR35 to AR39 once you do the quest, which means that you've been farming items that are 1. too weak for the higher world level and 2. you're close to ascending once again which makes you double weak. I did this quest with a lvl 70 character and lvl 50 weapon, all my others were underleveled and I still did fine. Making things as easy as possible is not good or effective in the long run in Genshin Impact.

Get rid of all the enemies first, leave the ruin guard alone. You can stall the guard with Ambers barrot bunny, and then do whatever combo you want on the hilichurls and mitachurls. Then go back to ruin guard, barot bunny again, fire arrows at its weak spot, hydro character, amber burst, kaeya freeze, and then the amber charged shot, then dodge. ++ if you hate the missles, use shield char, or just throw barot bunny in front of the ruin guard, then they wont fire.
that electro cube and the time limit literally haunts me to sleep until now Update: y'all saying it's easy and all and some other players struggle with it too I'm ar 55 now ffs 2024 Update: I now not worry with ascension quest because I'm not scared anymore :D, seeing this comment made me realize that my characters aren't built well and i didn't have confidence with my abilities. I guess I was overreacting lol!!
I finally did this quest and i almost cried because I tried it about 10 times and failed all those times. It look me two more weeks to finally own up to it. So I did it yesterday and then wished on the standard banner and got Jean. I hope you all do great on this quest!
@@simbinned If I were you I would just choose whoever I liked better. Also try out their skills and stuff because they both use different weapons. In the end though it’s whatever makes the game more fun for you :D
Tips for those who are almost or already trying to get to the next rank by doing the ascension! I am now ar55, and yes I do remember struggling almost every single ascension quests! They were very nerve-wracking moments, to be honest. Tips: I wholeheartedly recommend bringing the twin that you've chosen to use in the game (Lumine/Aether), make them Anemo users if you're using another element at the moment. (Trust me, it's all worth it). Use them to push the monsters down as they would be killed instantly! The same goes for the part when there are two with the cryo bows! It's very effective. You could also use their burst, making a nice tornado at the enemies. Though you won't have to level them up to max, at least go for 50 and you're good to go. I also recommend cooking food! Yes, buffs are also necessary but if you don't have a healer, definitely go for the foods! I didn't know having a healer would change everything, until the same ascension quest that I had done, which was reaching AR50. So once again, if you do not have a healer in your party, food can be the other option. Get as much as you can, it's all worth it in the end. These are the tips that I have in mind now, and they should now be ***held*** in your heart. Get what I mean? I'm just kidding! Though you should take these tips seriously, it's literally a game-changer.

Don’t rush to do the quest, build your characters first because if you end up passing with low leveled characters you’ll be facing high leveled bosses and won’t be able to lower your world level. I also highly recommend using a pyro character like Xiangling or even Amber for the mitachurl and electro hypostasis. Overall it’s really easy with well built characters so don’t stress
i figured the more you get into the game the stronger your characters get when i first found out abt genshin but nope you have to do it all by yourself. you could still have a 4p beserkers set at ar 35 and that would be all on you and you would take ages to finish the ascension quest.
I finally done it after an hour I was literally abt to cry bro the first one was easy BUT this one 😐 no reason for this dumb ass game to get me this fristRtwd 😩 I used xiangling keqing amber and noelle
Am I good at this game or something, I did it with level 50 traveller, Bennet, Diona and Amber, Amber had a 3 star weapon, everyone else 4 star level 50 weapon. And, all of my artifacts were only leveled up to 6
@@MintedToasti I wouldn't call it scary, but If you don't have characters in your team that can at least stun it or knock down, it's one hell of a hindrance. And even if you do, they're still complicated.
@@Juniper3406 that thing is I try to use all my characters to stun it but the skill/burst take too long to reuse and it starts it’s thing again even if I can use traveler’s last rapid strike… but thank for the advice tho
I died on the electro hypostasis, and I was doing it when Raiden Shogun's rerun was there. I ended up rage quitting, deciding to waste my time on wishing, *and then I got Raiden Shogun on a single pull*

This remembers me when I was that AR I hardly upgraded my characters (no upgraded artifacts, no upgraded weapons, very few talents ascended). So content was difficult as hell for me up to AR 40. Once there I started getting more 5 star artifacts so I started using my resources. My first built character was ningguang. Really and truly my carry from AR 20 all the way to 57 (yes, she is still my carry for Abyss, she can solo bosses). Oh, those times.
I completed this mission in first attempt. I used razor(60)(60), Xingling (60)(60), kaeya(55)(60), and Barbara (50)(60).articats mostly are 4 star and lvl8+ for all. Having healer is best and also helps in electro damage the hilichurls. My advice is try to finish the rain guard first at the beginning so that rest of the hilichurls is easy. And I people loosing to fatui. I used kaeya and Barbara to freeze him and razor for maximum Damage. At the end electro boss save up your xingling and Barbara. Those two are major damage dealer. Using the elements is always the trick to finish off genshin impact mission.

@@yugenkoizumii3371 dw u can also use Kaeya and Xiangling What I do is basically throwing Guoba at one of the crystals and then using Kaeya's elemental brust + his elemental skill to destroy the other two U can aslo use multiple elemental brusts of other characters (I would recommend Pyro or cryo ones) at once u get there for quicker destruction, but never use physical attacks since they do 0 damage at that part :)
It feels like yesterday when I just did the first ascension quest... Now I'm here again. I still struggle the bosses in my own wl. I'll probably jump world levels by the time I do this, I just hit ar 35 and I already have 1k extra ar xp.

I just finished this quest today!! I delayed it till ar 37 because my characters are still level 60 and most of them haven't ascended, but thanks to adeptus temptation everything was a lot more easier to kill :D
It's good for you to upgrade your characters when world lv increases before digging into Quests. Your will notice that quests are really hard if you don't do characters first. By the way nicely done

Tips for players struggling!! I used lvl 70 Xiangling and lvl 65 traveler (Anemo), lvl 60 Kokomi and lvl 60 Collei Food buffs! They’re really useful I recommend making food buffs and potions! I forgot the potions when fighting but It didn’t change anything! When fighting make sure to time everything so your attack doesn’t hit the cube, that happend a few times Make sure before you fight the hypostasts to save your bursts they’ll come in handy and are very useful and powerful! Make sure to level up your weapons and artifacts too those really help your damage and hp! I recommend looking up artifacts for each character to make sure they’re the best for that character! Dendro is verryyyyy useful it helps the most for my team, the reactions are really helpful so I recommend getting collei or tagnari they’re both great! Hope this helps!
When I ascended from ar35 to ar42, I used Traveler, Amber, Noelle and Ningguang I didn’t have a five star weapon, my damage was like 200-500, my skills about 1k, and I still made it Point is, you don’t have to be TOO good to pass this domain 😆
LOL, I somehow managed to defeat the electro hypostasis with only 3 seconds left on the clock. My damage and artifacts were TRASH for that level, but I did it. :'D
I just finished this yesterday! Here's my team : -Xiangling (lvl 58) [If you haven't completed spiral abyss 3-3 yet, do it now! She's really helpful, especially in the electro hypostatis part) -Beidou (lvl 50) -Noelle (lvl 40) [I really recommend using her, she can heal and deal damage at the same time!) -Diona (lvl 50) If you want to use the same exact team, feel free!
I started crying when the electro boss thingy relived itself because I wasn’t quick enough to kill those little floating cubes. 👊🏼 and there was only one left and 4 seconds left. So I gave up :’)
I was so depressed during the first ascension, literally had to try like 5 times because I couldn't get past the electro hypostasis. Now I am ar 35 (won't level up for a month more I guess) and I go fight the ruin guards myself
I did it with level 45 Traveler, Beidou and Barbara and level 50 Diluc. No need to worry if you have the same party, just take some Jade Parcels and DEF food and lots of food to heal. Edit: Now I am getting Level 50-60 enemies and I am screwed up.
My biggest flex is that I beat this TODAY using my lvl 46 tartaglia. With 2 hours of crying 5+ character deaths, you too can become like me😎 Ps none of my characters were over 60, I had been putting the ascension quest for so long that it was literally 29,630+. After I ascended I immediately became ar 38💀
That happened to me as well. When I finally completed it I became ar 38 or 39. I didn't want to do it to early because I was still doing stuff in Inazuma. And I knew if I ascended I would get clapped there so hard. :')
As someone who’s ar40, please, please do not do this quest if you’re not ready yet. I was at ar35 for over two months. Build your characters, because if you’re struggling to fight the mitachurl like I was the first time I tried, then you’re not ready for a higher world lvl. You need to have at least one character that can easily do over 1k dmg. I don’t expect anyone that’s ar35 to be hitting 20k dmg, but you should be doing a decent amount. I mostly used beidou and the highest I’ve hit with her at ar35 was 9.2k.
Same thing happened to me..I wanted to stay at ar 35 because I can farm much more easily. Did the ascension by mistake (because I was saving primos for the current banner) didn't realize it was the ascension quest.. hopefully I'll still be ok at ar 38 huhu
i successfully did the first and second ascension on my first try lmao, for me it's not that hard because i have an epic combo- xiangling and kaeya 😃 some tips, uhh when you fight the electro thingy, release guoba and let him do his work while you attack the crystal with kaeya 'cool it' 😄 oh and at the 6:09 no need to waste your health and time fighting the cryo abbys mage because if you go left (or right suit yourself) to fight those hilichurls, they will go away by themselves, hope this useful for u 😄
Guys don’t give up, you don’t even need a level 60-70 character I used my level 54 qiqi, level 56 amber, level 40 xiangling and chongyun. It’s matters about how strong their damage is and do use food. My qiqi was the main because her weapon was level 70. The others were on there 50s 60s and 40s.
I did this quest with my highest lvl heroes (only lvl40s) and those were Beidou (useless against the hypostasis), an electro Traveler (i kept forgetting to switch to anemo), a YaoYao and a Xiangling. I had to fight that cube with just those 2 last heroes i mentioned. After 3 tries, i started to realise that the cube has some state where its attacking but also vulnerable, took that as a strat and surprisingly it worked. I will 4ever worship yaoyao and xiangling from now on😭
bro i remember all my characters were so underlevel (level 40) and i had no idea how to build them at ALL. i tried doing this quest again and again and i kept dying, but my friend did it for me and saved me! i don’t know dude, but i think this was the hardest ascension quest out of all of them.
If it's any use to you, I made this ascent with the following characters: Traveler consonance anemo (level 60). Hu Tao or any pyro element character they have (Lv 60). Diona (level 50). Xingchiu (level 50). And to this day I am adventurer rank 41
So I just finished it today. Here is my team: Jean 60, for damage( you can easy push the first Hillichurls lol) but also for healing, Xiangling 40 for the emotional support but also for the ruin guard and the electro thing :), Beidou 50 for Idk what haha, and saccrose 60 because she and Xiangling is more then good in my opinion✨ I did it after 3 tries so don’t give up :)
ive been suffering for 3 days straight trying to finish this while having low leveled characters and just 4-star artifacts, but i enhance them a lot. still i was frustrated and failed. but i had an idea that could possibly work. i had lumine, lvl 70 with geo, to use the stone thingys whatever its called, to block the electro cube’s laser or something that would hit me. i use a lvl 40 keqing, to just slash most of the enemies bcuz of her fast actions and damage. then a lvl 40 diona for healing. lastly, i use lvl 35 xiangling and save her ult for the electro cube to break the ones that give the cube more health at the end, i srsly dont know what those are called lol. thats about how i managed to get through this. i forgot to mention that, i needed to farm a lot of food too. thats about it on how i managed to get through this domain.
Im on ar 25 and have to do the ascension but I STRUGGLED A LOT- Once i actually defeated the ruin guard that appears first- but then i died at the third stage- when we fight the person who keep moving fricking fast- ESPECIALLY WHEN MY CHARACTER AND WEAPON IS LOW- The characthers i use on the ascension is base on the element rec: Chongyun(Cyro)Barbara(Hydro,Support/healer),Xiangling(Pyro,sub dps on my main team ofc i bring her.but i main her at this ascension),And sucrose(Anemo) Ehe
Me who did every ascension quest with much lower level characters than was recommended. Example: Ar35 ascension where you need characters on level 60 or higher Me: 40-50 Level Ar45 where you need characters on level 70 or higher Me: 1 char. Lvl70 but weak artifacts 1 char. Lvl60 1 lvl 50 1lvl 40-45 Ar50 where you need characters on level 90 or at least 80. Me: 1char. ascended, on level 73 1 char. on lvl 70 not ascended 1 char. on lvl 70 n.a. 1 char. on lvl 50 n.a. The process: Ar25-about 27 tries Ar35-about 12 tries Ar45- first try Ar50- first try Magic
When i was fighting the last mitachurl i sadly died, so now that is haunting me forever i think im just gonna stay ar35 rather than fight a freaking level 60 electro hypostatis

In my opinion the electrio cube is kinda easy 😀 when your in co-op mode your in the back weak meanwhile level 80 or 70 players just fighting and understands your weakness
Yeah the electro cube is super easy to fight. But if you are doing it with a timer like in this ascension quest it's actually kind of hard. I just barely managed to kill it on time. My artifacts and weapons were not good at all.
I did the AR 35 ascension like 3 weeks ago. im AR 45 (I skipped straight to 44 ) and im planning on staying frozen here for maybe another month of so. just to get my characters I use raised, weapons too. I also found a website for build guides so im Finna work on artifacts. THEN, ill do the ascension quest.
use a pyro character, if u dont have any except amber use her charged shots and always make sure that ur characters have semi-decent or just good artifacts that are leveled up. ur characters should atleast be level 40-45 at ar 25. if not, ascend your characters. you should have all ascension materials for your characters by then if theyre still level 20.
This kind of looks really easy from your perspective but when I was there in my first time I died and then I asked my friend for advice and then it took me three days just to prepare then I did it 😭

Don’t rush to do the quest, build your characters first because if you end up passing with low leveled characters you’ll be facing high leveled bosses and won’t be able to lower your world level. I also highly recommend using a pyro character like Xiangling or even Amber for the mitachurl and electro hypostasis. Overall it’s really easy with well built characters so don’t stress

i figured the more you get into the game the stronger your characters get when i first found out abt genshin but nope you have to do it all by yourself. you could still have a 4p beserkers set at ar 35 and that would be all on you and you would take ages to finish the ascension quest.

Am I good at this game or something, I did it with level 50 traveller, Bennet, Diona and Amber, Amber had a 3 star weapon, everyone else 4 star level 50 weapon. And, all of my artifacts were only leveled up to 6

@@MintedToasti I wouldn't call it scary, but If you don't have characters in your team that can at least stun it or knock down, it's one hell of a hindrance. And even if you do, they're still complicated.
@@Juniper3406 that thing is I try to use all my characters to stun it but the skill/burst take too long to reuse and it starts it’s thing again even if I can use traveler’s last rapid strike… but thank for the advice tho

I died on the electro hypostasis, and I was doing it when Raiden Shogun's rerun was there. I ended up rage quitting, deciding to waste my time on wishing, *and then I got Raiden Shogun on a single pull*
fun fact: don’t rush the ascendtions cause I did, and (somehow) manage to beat the domain with 2 star artifacts, and boy was it not worth it

This remembers me when I was that AR
I hardly upgraded my characters (no upgraded artifacts, no upgraded weapons, very few talents ascended). So content was difficult as hell for me up to AR 40. Once there I started getting more 5 star artifacts so I started using my resources.
My first built character was ningguang. Really and truly my carry from AR 20 all the way to 57 (yes, she is still my carry for Abyss, she can solo bosses).
Oh, those times.
I completed this mission in first attempt. I used razor(60)(60), Xingling (60)(60), kaeya(55)(60), and Barbara (50)(60).articats mostly are 4 star and lvl8+ for all. Having healer is best and also helps in electro damage the hilichurls. My advice is try to finish the rain guard first at the beginning so that rest of the hilichurls is easy. And I people loosing to fatui. I used kaeya and Barbara to freeze him and razor for maximum Damage. At the end electro boss save up your xingling and Barbara. Those two are major damage dealer. Using the elements is always the trick to finish off genshin impact mission.

What I do is basically throwing Guoba at one of the crystals and then using Kaeya's elemental brust + his elemental skill to destroy the other two
U can aslo use multiple elemental brusts of other characters (I would recommend Pyro or cryo ones) at once u get there for quicker destruction, but never use physical attacks since they do 0 damage at that part :)

It's good for you to upgrade your characters when world lv increases before digging into Quests. Your will notice that quests are really hard if you don't do characters first. By the way nicely done

Tips for players struggling!!
I used lvl 70 Xiangling and lvl 65 traveler (Anemo), lvl 60 Kokomi and lvl 60 Collei
Food buffs!
They’re really useful I recommend making food buffs and potions! I forgot the potions when fighting but It didn’t change anything!
When fighting make sure to time everything so your attack doesn’t hit the cube, that happend a few times
Make sure before you fight the hypostasts to save your bursts they’ll come in handy and are very useful and powerful!
Make sure to level up your weapons and artifacts too those really help your damage and hp! I recommend looking up artifacts for each character to make sure they’re the best for that character! Dendro is verryyyyy useful it helps the most for my team, the reactions are really helpful so I recommend getting collei or tagnari they’re both great!

When I ascended from ar35 to ar42, I used Traveler, Amber, Noelle and Ningguang
I didn’t have a five star weapon, my damage was like 200-500, my skills about 1k, and I still made it

LOL, I somehow managed to defeat the electro hypostasis with only 3 seconds left on the clock. My damage and artifacts were TRASH for that level, but I did it. :'D

I did it with level 45 Traveler, Beidou and Barbara and level 50 Diluc. No need to worry if you have the same party, just take some Jade Parcels and DEF food and lots of food to heal.
Edit: Now I am getting Level 50-60 enemies and I am screwed up.
My biggest flex is that I beat this TODAY using my lvl 46 tartaglia. With 2 hours of crying 5+ character deaths, you too can become like me😎 Ps none of my characters were over 60, I had been putting the ascension quest for so long that it was literally 29,630+. After I ascended I immediately became ar 38💀
same, i put it off for so long that my exp is 55000+ and after i ascended, i became ar 42 i think?
That happened to me as well. When I finally completed it I became ar 38 or 39. I didn't want to do it to early because I was still doing stuff in Inazuma. And I knew if I ascended I would get clapped there so hard. :')

As someone who’s ar40, please, please do not do this quest if you’re not ready yet. I was at ar35 for over two months. Build your characters, because if you’re struggling to fight the mitachurl like I was the first time I tried, then you’re not ready for a higher world lvl. You need to have at least one character that can easily do over 1k dmg. I don’t expect anyone that’s ar35 to be hitting 20k dmg, but you should be doing a decent amount. I mostly used beidou and the highest I’ve hit with her at ar35 was 9.2k.
You motivated me so much to upgrade all my characters and do the quest thx :D!
One thing I learned. Level up my damn character and weapons and take my time. Damn I really be all confident with my lvl 20 characters-

i successfully did the first and second ascension on my first try lmao, for me it's not that hard because i have an epic combo- xiangling and kaeya 😃 some tips, uhh when you fight the electro thingy, release guoba and let him do his work while you attack the crystal with kaeya 'cool it' 😄 oh and at the 6:09 no need to waste your health and time fighting the cryo abbys mage because if you go left (or right suit yourself) to fight those hilichurls, they will go away by themselves, hope this useful for u 😄

Guys don’t give up, you don’t even need a level 60-70 character I used my level 54 qiqi, level 56 amber, level 40 xiangling and chongyun. It’s matters about how strong their damage is and do use food. My qiqi was the main because her weapon was level 70. The others were on there 50s 60s and 40s.
I did this quest with my highest lvl heroes (only lvl40s) and those were Beidou (useless against the hypostasis), an electro Traveler (i kept forgetting to switch to anemo), a YaoYao and a Xiangling.
I had to fight that cube with just those 2 last heroes i mentioned.
After 3 tries, i started to realise that the cube has some state where its attacking but also vulnerable, took that as a strat and surprisingly it worked. I will 4ever worship yaoyao and xiangling from now on😭

Here is my team: Jean 60, for damage( you can easy push the first Hillichurls lol) but also for healing, Xiangling 40 for the emotional support but also for the ruin guard and the electro thing :), Beidou 50 for Idk what haha, and saccrose 60 because she and Xiangling is more then good in my opinion✨

ive been suffering for 3 days straight trying to finish this while having low leveled characters and just 4-star artifacts, but i enhance them a lot. still i was frustrated and failed. but i had an idea that could possibly work. i had lumine, lvl 70 with geo, to use the stone thingys whatever its called, to block the electro cube’s laser or something that would hit me. i use a lvl 40 keqing, to just slash most of the enemies bcuz of her fast actions and damage. then a lvl 40 diona for healing. lastly, i use lvl 35 xiangling and save her ult for the electro cube to break the ones that give the cube more health at the end, i srsly dont know what those are called lol. thats about how i managed to get through this. i forgot to mention that, i needed to farm a lot of food too. thats about it on how i managed to get through this domain.
level them all up to lvl60 first. don't try to finish the quest immediately, make sure all 4 of them are levelled up properly

Im on ar 25 and have to do the ascension but I STRUGGLED A LOT- Once i actually defeated the ruin guard that appears first- but then i died at the third stage- when we fight the person who keep moving fricking fast- ESPECIALLY WHEN MY CHARACTER AND WEAPON IS LOW- The characthers i use on the ascension is base on the element rec: Chongyun(Cyro)Barbara(Hydro,Support/healer),Xiangling(Pyro,sub dps on my main team ofc i bring her.but i main her at this ascension),And sucrose(Anemo)

Ar35 ascension where you need characters on level 60 or higher
Me: 40-50 Level
Ar45 where you need characters on level 70 or higher
Me: 1 char. Lvl70 but weak artifacts
1 char. Lvl60 1 lvl 50 1lvl 40-45
Ar50 where you need characters on level 90 or at least 80.
Me: 1char. ascended, on level 73
1 char. on lvl 70 not ascended
1 char. on lvl 70 n.a.
1 char. on lvl 50 n.a.
The process:
Ar25-about 27 tries
Ar35-about 12 tries
Ar45- first try
Ar50- first try
Magic

In my opinion the electrio cube is kinda easy 😀 when your in co-op mode your in the back weak meanwhile level 80 or 70 players just fighting and understands your weakness
Yeah the electro cube is super easy to fight. But if you are doing it with a timer like in this ascension quest it's actually kind of hard. I just barely managed to kill it on time. My artifacts and weapons were not good at all.
I did the AR 35 ascension like 3 weeks ago. im AR 45 (I skipped straight to 44 ) and im planning on staying frozen here for maybe another month of so. just to get my characters I use raised, weapons too. I also found a website for build guides so im Finna work on artifacts. THEN, ill do the ascension quest.

try using bennett for that, that's what I used to pass AR 25 lol
use a pyro character, if u dont have any except amber use her charged shots and always make sure that ur characters have semi-decent or just good artifacts that are leveled up. ur characters should atleast be level 40-45 at ar 25. if not, ascend your characters. you should have all ascension materials for your characters by then if theyre still level 20.
This kind of looks really easy from your perspective but when I was there in my first time I died and then I asked my friend for advice and then it took me three days just to prepare then I did it 😭
