Kathy (Geoff's wife) is production manager for Voiceplay and Geoff's solo videos. She is also responsible for all of the sleeveless looks Geoff has been wearing lately. In the BTS for a recent VP video (In the Air Tonight I think) she was cutting sleeves off a shirt for him and was asked if she was doing it for Geoff or herself and she responded that she was doing it for the world. 😂😂😂

Thank you all for a great reaction to Geoff. It was Geoffs wife idea to make the numbers on each shirt represent the names of each name. She is brilliant. She not only is his & Voice Plays production manager & she has put forth so many great ideas for them. She never gets enough credit for all her hard work for them. She is so much a part of them.
Geoff had to learn harmonica when he played one of the Blues Brothers in a show at Universal. (And you get close - he was a pole vaulter in high school).
When Geoff and Kathy arrived for the shoot, the guy that escorted them in asked when the rest of the crew would arrive. They had to reply that Kathy was the crew for that shoot.
Geoff has been interacting with his clones since the beginning. But sometimes it’s more obvious than other times.
The book the Geoff on the left was reading was the autobiography of Johnnie Cash. And the 3 people who showed up in the back were also Geoff.
If you check out the shirt numbers on your phone, the numbers spell out the different ways of spelling Geoff's name that his clones use. Jeff, Geoff, Daryl, Jeoph. Geoff's wife Kathy said that Goff is a good boy and wouldn't be in prison!
Several people have pointed out Kathy's involvement with Geoff and VoicePlay. She actually makes an appearance in a video or two but she's in "Golden Hour" practically the whole time (in the background) if you guys wanna see her. I can't remember if you've reacted to that one yet or not but it's a good one!
Loved this reaction! I love me some Johnny Cash and I was excited to see what Geoff would do with it. Those low notes are crazy, especially considering it was all done in chest. He's a total freak of nature in the best possible way! I had fun watching this with you guys! ❤️
Geoff makes the main decisions of how he acts on camera/the story he's portraying aka the creative production side of things. Kathy mainly helps with camera work, setting up the set with him, getting costuming/props ordered, scheduling for location etc, aka more the practical side of things. But they both also have input and take some part in each others tasks in the process. A true team ❤
Kathy also cameos in some of his videos though not super often. It's always fun to see her though she has a great background of performing on stage and on camera. She seems to prefer to work behind the camera, but definitely seems right at home on screen too.
@@5foot2eyesofblue13 She sadly had to give up her acting/singing career due to suffering from a degenerative hearing loss. Geoff and Kathy has a very instructive and touching video up on his channel on how her hearing loss has impacted her and the family. The one positive thing coming out of this personal loss, is that Geoff and VoicePlay have gained a knowledgeable and competent production manager.
Doesn't matter your orientation _ Geoff is an eargasm.
"Could you pole vault"? Yes. He actually WAS a pole vaulter back in College, if I remember correctly (I read it somewhere) 😅. And I don't know about pinnacle, but being him of Italian origins I woulnd't be surprised 😁.
That said, I read that he started to think about this year Halloween video right after releasing last year's one, so it'll be special 😁.

I think it was high school when he was pole vaulting. I laughed so hard when they threw that out as the "what can't you do"lol
He also makes his sourdough pizza crust from scratch, lol
Geoff learned to play the harmonica in 2014 when he played Elwood Blues a few times at Universal Studios Orlando.
The numbers on his shirts match the numbers on the phone keypad and spell out each of their names.... Jeff, Geoff, Daryl and Jeoph. We're guessing Goff is the one closest on the balcony. The other 2 are new.
The prison is indian River Correctional Institute in Vero Beach FL. The owners plan to eventually turn it into an algae farm. Until then they rent it out.
The AC was off so it was 90° inside and 80° outside. So they had to take frequent car ac breaks throughout the day.
The book Jeff was reading is Johnny Cash's autobiography.

Voiceplay and Geoff go all out for Halloween--they have a lot of really fun videos for the spooky season while we wait for this year's releases! VP's Oogie Boogie's Song, This is Halloween, What's This?, Kidnap the Sandy Claws (all from Nightmare before Christmas), In the Hall of the Mountain King, Ding Dong (Hide and Seek), Friends on the Other Side, Grim Grinning Ghosts, and Geoff's Monster Mash, Headless Horseman, and Ghost Riders in the Sky are all great for this time of year!
We are doing a five days of halloween reaction drop starting on 10/27. There'll be a couple Geoff songs in there!
Geoff has not done Ring of Fire, although his Patrons and subscribers have suggested it multiple times. I don't remember which one you didn't like going in. I listen to the other acapella groups, but Voiceplay is my favorite and Geoff is my favorite bass in the whole wide world!
You haven't reacted to his version of Man of Constant Sorrow or Sound of Silence yet. If you got an overload of Geoffs in this one, Sound of Silence only shows one. The other Geoff's are singing, but not on screen.

They're referring to Home Free's Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan. It's another great example of bass and of course, another Johnny Cash classic. AJ didn't care for the arrangement. From what I understood it was mostly Adam's choice of reggae beat that he seemed to dislike.

This was sooo good. I loved all the easter eggs in it as well. The numbers on their shirts are not random. If you look at the numbers on the phone the spell out the Geoff clones name. Also, near the end there are 3 more Geoffs on the second floor. The book Jeff is reading is Johnny Cash's autobiography. Just so much to see. Great reaction!!

Geoff...is like the perfect guy. He can sing 5 full octaves. Play keyboard and harmonica. Cook like a chef (even if he occasionally burns the pizza) arranges all his own music and half of Voiceplay's. He is damn good looking, fit, and has perfect hair. Even my husband understands why I call Geoff my dream guy LOL. He is so damn talented...i kinda hate him. But I love him!! LOL. The Geoff on the far left that was reading the magazine.....if you can go back and blow up the picture, you'll see Johnny Cash on the cover!!! And each prison uniform has different inmate numbers on them!!!
He managed seven Geoffs in this. And the whole thing was done by Geoff and his wife Kathy. :) I'd say singing at that pitch, rather than tone. I know he's good around the house, doing DIY and cooking, baking, etc, He's a pretty good all round good guy. :) I love your reactions. I'm so glad you didn't say "playing with himself". Last year for Halloween, he released his cover of Ghost Riders in the Sky. We’re all waiting to see what he’s doing this year.
VoicePlay also does a Halloween or spooky season video each year.
And this year as a bonus, Geoff is going to be the lead in PattyCake Productions’ Halloween release. Pattycake is co-owned by Layne who is the beatboxer, and Tony who used to be the baritone up until 2017. They run an independent production studio and also release their own original content. They also go crazy at Halloween, most of the Halloween content being related to the movie hocus-pocus as well as an original called bump in the night which features cameos from well-known horror film icons. But this year they’re going to feature Geoff!! It should be amazing.

It was an out of commisdion prison in Florida that is being converted to an algae farm! One wing still not converted and is rented out for filming.

I need some pinochle players near me. Did you notice that the book was Johnny Cash's autobiography. He did pole-vaulting in high school. His clones have names - it's the misspellings of his name. If you look at your phone, look at which letters are on each number and how would you misspell Geoff. Some are shorter than 5 letters and those prison numbers start with the 0. His short commentary after the song explains the prison a bit. The first video I saw/watched of Geoff was the Monster Mash and with Halloween approaching it's a good one to consider as are the Headless Horseman and Ghostriders in the Sky. Kathy is inclined to pull the sleeves off his shirts - she managed that in VoicePlay's In The Air Tonight (Phil Collins)..

Per the 2022 Bass Battle between Tim, Avi, and Geoff- neither Tim nor Avi has an F# 1 in chest. 😮
Well, in reality all 3 have an F1 in chest. Avi did it on his Tiktok, with bass layers added, and Tim hit an F1 in LIVE. Geoff hit an F1 in Friends on the other side.
