My goodness John you were quick off the mark with this video, they were only launched today! I've pretty much been waiting for Ruark to produce some passive speakers again since 2004 when I bought my first pair of Ruark Epilogue II's. (And I've bought a number of their designs since too). It's interesting to hear your description of these: it's exactly how I feel about my 20 year old boxes of joy too. I'm really looking forward to listening to these myself. Thank you as always for your video. You clearly enjoy your job and that comes across. Keep up the good work.
Hi, the WiiM amp will work fine but I highly recommend an amplifier that's around a similar price or more to the Sabre R speakers. They will really benefit from higher quality amplification. - John
A very attractive room friendly package hope they sell well , in the crazy world of hi-end this looks like a high value solution , would look great in my home 👍🏻
It's called Ruark R-CD100, coming soon. I don't know what it looks like yet. Keep an eye on this link, it's at the bottom of the page. www.ruarkaudio.com/products/100-series - John
Hello I have been looking at an R610. I have some questions. I have a pair of TDL Saturn speakers that give a decent sound. Would they work with the R610? I would like to keep them as they match the furniture. no laughing at the back please! Is the R CD100 available yet?
Hi, the Ruark R610 will work absolutely fine with your TDL speakers. The R-CD100 is now available too. petertyson.co.uk/ruark-audio-new-r-cd100-cd-player-fused-walnut-veneer-case-with-aluminium-top?_gl=1*i6669y*_up*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQiA_qG5BhDTARIsAA0UHSK5CST-ojOJl8tzsy3EEehWjk86bwtTZMdYgiEoxK3dMnS8PR-2lxkaAoL-EALw_wcB

I wonder what this would sound like paired with a set of Shahinian Compass Speakers.
I might have to buy this setup, just for the hell of it.
Trying to justify this set up to go with my R5 and R410…
Want!
Better sized screen at last and be interested to see the plug-in CD player
It wasn't available when I filmed. I'm told it's just a simple plug and play unit. - John
I would have loved a matching cd player like the Cambridge audio evo set up. I prefer my units to match size and aesthetically if possible.

A question too if I may: is the USB C input compatible with a PC/Mac? Or is it just for hard drives?
I believe it's USB audio so should be fine. I'll check for you - John
No Qubuz?,
How much are they in the UK?
