I think it's a whole step down standard
@@maury8354I looked at his hand placement and I ca definitely say it's in E standard
@@silvasen1985 if you tune every string one step down you get D standard, which is E standard but just a whole step down. Hence why the hand placement is similar (if he'd put a capo on the 2nd fret he'd have E standard). It just sounds darker!
