Yeah Jono This has to be one of the funniest bike check/set Taking the Mickey out of each other makes it more fun and nice to hear you’re back riding soon
Good seeing you doing well mate. Met your bro in Whis a few weeks back. Me and the kid in the hotel lobby. He was looking sleepy. We were sleepy. Kept it as low key excitement as I could.
@@Jono_Jones Hello Jono Jones, how’s it going my friend? I really like the setting up of you posting your TH-cam of you doing enduro race bike set up. Hope you win the race. I love all your video. It was nice seeing you. God bless you Jono, you’re a very one best friend, buddy, mates and pin pals as always, from, PaulLaw.
Hey Jono, I love that youve made a channel. I have recently become obsessed, with finding out how much better than me pro riders are. If your looking 4 future vid ideas. then it would love 2 see how fast you can sprint 100 meters on a road, how high you can bunnyhop, and other non scientific bike things. Would be great 2 watch, and compare my self 2. thx : )
That's a good bike check Jono, agree, those cranks are sick. One thing you didn't take into account/mention running the 10-45 cassette vs 10-51 is that you can then run the shorter cage derailleur, which gives more ground clearance, which can make a world of difference in not smacking your RD into things or collecting mud as easily - don't have 12spd, but did this with 11spd and def massive difference between the long and med cage RD for all those reasons.
Sick Jono!! Have you thought about also doing an Ews-E event? It would be really interesting to see the difference in riding.. I love both of them, and not many riders to both.. some have! Sam Hill was one for example.
Sick bike! Looking forward to my Tyee showing up here in a few days (purchased a used demo). Not nearly as trick as yours Jono, with the standard performance build, but still excited! Thanks for sharing your suspension settings, at 200lbs pretty sure I could not run my fork that stiff, but then again I do not ride at near an EWS pace either. I have a 550-610# springdex coming, hopefully that ends up being correct for my weight and the RS SD Ultimate Coil.
Jono, maybe try more compliant bars. Seems like people like them - but I'm on 35 alumium at the moment as well. It could help with armpump :) Galfer make 246mm Rotors or something btw - they're huge.
Hey John. It’s my birthday on the 10th of September so I would love it if you could upload you riding for my birthday as it would be good to see you riding again. Keep up the good work John.
@@Jono_Jones Hello Jono Jones, 😊how are you doing buddy? Glad to see you posting this wonderful video of you on your TH-cam of you setting up your enduro race bike setup. Best of luck in your bike race. What do you do in your spare time or regards to carrying your spare parts like your bike tyres when racing? Pretty nice jokes of you with your bit of your wonderful insight. Take care Jono. I am very proud of you brother. Best friends as always from PaulLaw.
That camera is awful, and it makes you look really weird, but I've just seen your new channel, that I've been waiting for a VERY long time, so all is forgiven. Keep it up, love watching you ride
pretty much dribbled through the whole video. 🤤wishing I got that colour now. I got a raw glanz frame is due any time. and what do you use to keep the cables in place in the bottom bracket...?
nope, no inserts for me! Tried them before but I dont get many flats and prefer the feel without for now... will use them when I need to but so far the wheels (and pressures) seem to be holding up :)
Interesting, I've only ever met 1 other person whos party parts went numb while riding and I genuinely suggested he maybe get checked out because that seemed concerning 😅
Been waiting so long for you to start your own channel, love Matt but the videos you are in are always my favourite, leave the bank job

Best mtb check I've seen, great job, excellent, explanations and commentary.
The colour of your bike is amazing.
Love your videos.
Proper chilled vibe to your videos mate. Great assistance both vid and bike tech from Dan ☝️👍😜

The colour alone makes me want to buy one
Finally jono has a second leg
I know your pain with the numb knob 😂 nice to see a pro run tyre pressures similar to what I run.
Sick Jono!!

Seems like Propain are bang on with their recommendations for springs
Hi jon, really enjoyed this video. Great stuff
Thanks Mr O
Sick bike man I wish I had a like that
What do you do in regards to carrying spares when your racing? Appreciate the knob jokes in this bit of insight!
I'm always pretty light, just allen keys normally and then regret it when something goes wrong!

Jono! Go to Canada and ride with Remy! That would be awesome! I'm sure Propain would approve! Haha
Nice video Jono. At least you didn't mention anything about tire inserts, do you use them at all?
I dont actually, I've tried them before but I don't get many flats and find they feel a touch dead? Happy without them for now :)
Stupid question: is that the 29” or the 27.5” cos it kinda looks like a mullet but I haven’t got my glasses on!
I kinda wish the orange part was in mint color too. ✌️😅❤️
Hi Jono, just wondering is this the 2021 frame or is it the 2022 frame, is there any difference? ✌🏻
Jono🤘 sikk bike
Love it!
Nice steed! I am so eager to receive my Tyee CF ordered in october 2021... 😔 I am about to lose patience.
Interesting. I have the same bike and coil shock but run a 500lb spring and i’m only like 75kg. I do believe I’m in the correct sag range though 🤔
112 psi in the fork? Is the super high pressure a Fox thing? I run 70 in my lyrik and can't bottom it out unless I messed something up really bad.
Just had to say I run a 34 t chain ring And a 42t casset
That's a firm and fast fork setting for your weight.
indeed!
How many degrees his handle bar rise? Thanks
You could get more drop maybe with the One Up V2 Dropper
Jono, I'm buying a new hub soon and would like to know which one you have for ideas.
7:40 before the seat change did you ride with Viagra in your drink?? 😂 great vid as always Jono
Was considering the Tyee but can't fit the dropper size I want on a size medium ..
🤙
You don't run tyre inserts? Weight saving? Feel? Or just don't need them?
nope, no inserts for me! Tried them before but I dont get many flats and prefer the feel without for now... will use them when I need to but so far the wheels (and pressures) seem to be holding up :)
7:29 hah
Giz a kiss Jono
😎
stem length?
Mudguard?
What bar width do you run
775mm
Interesting, I've only ever met 1 other person whos party parts went numb while riding and I genuinely suggested he maybe get checked out because that seemed concerning 😅
What sag % does they run?
That shock is on the wrong position, it was installed upside down FYI
Good news the boot is off. Now does this mean Hardline is on?🤞🏼🤞🏼🤘🏼
I'll be there!!! Just not sure I'll be well enough to ride.... eeeek
@@Jono_Jones ahh nightmare, take it easy, hope you're back to full strength soon.🤘🏼
Inserts?
not for me! maybe one day, but haven't needed them yet
@@Jono_Jones i cant ride without one🤣
