Redmi note series phones are known for their *reliability/longevity*. It is the 6th year of my Redmi note 5 pro (no issues so far) and I am not a light user. Personal opinion : Not many people make use of NFC (as far as I know. In fact, till now I didn't even know that NFC was a thing ). This phone will do good for anyone who doesn't want anything at its extreme. Seems like an all rounder phone. ( Gotta say, the only thing negative for me is the dialer.)
The problem is, whatever negatives v r able to notice, no other new releases r der to choose instead of RN12Pro. Nothing Phone, u find it sensible for the battery backup in tht price range? No right. So, it's ok to hav RNPro12 if priority is normal social media n other media consumption n decent UI. And so far, i havnt found in display fingerprint as more convenient than sidemounted. For me, as I wish i hold the phone check messages, side mounted seems more convenient as I don't hav to reach my finger on to the display by adjusting my hold on the phone. In display fingerprint is just one way doing it rather than being a premium or most practical feature. Software update is the worst part of having a Resmi Xiaomi device. Thts stil disappointing.

iqoo neo 6 max times remains out of stock , Nothing phone 1 is nearly 30k , Poco have some motherboard issues after update and redmi k50i has LCD panel. So comes out to be decent multimedia phone in 2023 with 4 years of security updates and decent processor for daily use and gaming

The thing is that the previous 5g model phones do not suppport all the 5g bands in India thus it is pointless to buy phones like Iqoo neo 6/poco f4/nothing phone1 etc, the only options now are realme 10 and redmi note 12 series

My perception with Xiaomi brand changed, previously I love to use Redmi product but now it seems company becomes cash cow, just changing name from 11 to change without any upgradation, and charge high price. Same phone with far lower price available in Samsung, better than is phone available in moto, and other Chinese brand. After ED and govt raided Xiaomi location and confiscated its large bank balance for hiding and transferring money without paying tax or such, now they will recover such amount from used by charging high price Xiaomi now change higher price for phone with lower spec.
I have bought redmi note 12 pro 5g. It's continuously charging and discharging on the 2nd day hence got it replaced but I am facing the same issue on the replaced mobile . I have faced display related issue in my Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G & Now i have to pay 6000 rs to get repair the display. During Normal uses phones getting damaged & No warranty provided by Service center. Guys, Please this year Avoid Xiaomi/Poco devices as much as you can. Otherwise you will regret. Go For Moto, Samsung, Infinix. These 3 Brands providing better build quality. Samsung is in 2nd choice But Moto & Infinix build quality is superb. Please Avoid Xiaomi/Poco.

Didi dialer, nfc, SU, FS, se mujhe to koi ghnta bhi fark nahi padta or rahi bat cameras, performance & battery ki to isme koi kami nahi he
You already told us to display is really good, u can't compare this device display with other amoled, u will not get hdr support at this budget, I have purchased this phone because I like the display and UI

Agar 18k me purana useless phone ke badle exchange hua ho to kya tab sahi choice hai? Mera redmi note 5 pro exchange hua, ₹7800 me. Charge hini hora tha. Local repair waale ne port kharab kar diya tha. To mujhe ye phone around 18k me mil gaya tha

Didi,tbh,tb very frank,thi doesn't seems to be ur field. Not demotivating but a pov. Even watched noobs tech vdos,they were actually more good. This vdo was like, uh somehow forcely tried to make this vdo,or just vdo banana h us maksad se bnaya. Uh may switch category.

Guyz, this year Xiaomi/Poco Phones build quality is really worst. Phone gets damaged during Normal uses. I have faced display related issue in my Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G & Now i have to pay 6000 rs to get repair the display. During Normal uses phones getting damaged & No warranty provided by Service center. Guys, Please this year Avoid Xiaomi/Poco devices as much as you can. Otherwise you will regret. Go For Moto, Samsung, Infinix. These 3 Brands providing better build quality. Samsung is in 2nd choice But Moto & Infinix build quality is superb. Please Avoid Xiaomi/Poco.
