    Thanks for this guys. Gives me hope that trout are still alive in the winter since I've been skunked 4 times in a row on the middle fork of the Willamette.

    I enjoyed your presentation very much.The focus on the whole package.Do like the emphasis on the care going into landing the fish.Tight lines.

    I always return to this video for inspiration come Winter. Of course, fishing the NC and VA area isn't exactly Winter by many standards :)

    Thanks! Like the easy going flow which makes novices like me (haven't even tried out my Micro spey rod yet).
    Nice vintage Sage 500 series reel! (508?)

    Thanks for the useful video. Love how you release the trout quickly and in the water. This is the new etiquette in action that will help preserve our Western trout fishing.

    Do you use a float tip with your scandi line?
    Thanks for the video.

    • @ashlandflyshop770
      @ashlandflyshop770  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You certainly can! If you want to use a skater / dry fly then floating tips are recommended and they cast well too.

      @@ashlandflyshop770 Do you need extra tips on a scandi line? I always thought you can put on your leader and done.

      @@FlyFishingChronicles You have the option of adding light scandi versi/sinking leaders to your scandi . This would be in place of the mono leader , not in addition to.
