These Sany machines are much simpler than the new stuff coming out with a million electronics. They have good engines and good pumps and simplicity. You can work on these machines yourself and not be locked out by dealer software.
The kubotas are still fairly simple too. We Ran a sany got sloppy real quick I love a simple machine we got a couple ihis real simple machines to but again kind of low quality which is what's nice about the kubotas higher quality and still pretty simple
I'd guess those little lines near the end of the stick were for a hydraulic coupler. Those machines look very similar to CAT's on the outside, but the interior looks pretty clunky, at least on video. But really enjoy see all kinds and brands of equipment. Have a good one!!
I have a couple Sanys but there 135 and 220 size machines they have been better than my CAT excavators less break downs and bought all at the same time never had a issue with Sany iv had lots of problems with the new Generation CAT 220 and every third machine you buy it’s like a free SANY compared to CAT prices.
Workplaytv channel has a couple of Sany’s and uses them with mulching heads on them clearing cell tower sites and guide wires. He hasn’t had any big problems with them yet.
Ive run a Sany.. it was a POS... real cheap machines, impossible to do small movements with. There was a grading contractor who had it on rent and couldn't cut a pond out with it. He ended up telling the rental company to come and get it and bring him something else out.
There was some sany review about this big sewer pipelaying job using a sany excavator and how wonderful it was, 8 months, 2000 feet of 48 inch pipe, that's 13 feet a day? Maybe they should have got a Volvo, or a shovel
@5:49, makes one wonder sometimes if some of these didn't come from a hurricane flood area. Although very doubtful with this one. I remember looking for a newer work truck after I think it was Harvey came into Houston. Looked at the floor bolts for the seats and nothing but rust and mildew, although the rest of the truck looked great.
I own 2 60s and 2 80s biggest mistake of my 40 years in concrete construction, the 60s have no power at all and can’t be turned up anymore, very fuel efficient though, cause you can’t turn them up. The 80s have more power than the cheap metal can handle, 80s began self destruction at about 200 hrs , lower cost , lower quality and durability
Chinese machinery goes something like this..some of the machine is decent other parts are made of cheap plastic and rubber that cannot take the cold or flexing and break. Hard to imagine not running a machine because a $5.00 part broke.
I think you’d be better off with another Kubota. Been hearing bad stuff about the Sany line. What’s new bud? I enjoy the content you’re making, and will continue watching. Take care and stay safe bud! God bless!🙏✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Main issue is that they’re produced by the Chinese, on top of all the problems you’d mentioned. I’ve looked at a couple at the dealer and they seem like they’re ok but I wouldn’t touch one with a 10ft pole.
I looked at Sany a couple of months ago at an expo. The prices were lower than the competition, but there were trade offs on some features that seemed to limit the potential regarding the vatiety of jobs it would be able to perform. It seems to be base economy excavator that would be for hogging dirt. Not even sure if the machines can be upgraded to 2d or 3d systems because the website is not that informative.....unless it has changed in the last couple of months.
Watch out when buying a used Sanyo from factory it has a 5yr 5000 hour warranty it claims. But in the fine print if it's bought from a auction or private party the warranty is voided. Only time the warranty is valid is if you buy used from a dealer
Good stuff Tim, some nice machines there🙏👍🙂
I'm sure happy with my sany.....bought a 60....same dealer

I looked at sany equipment out at the Bunyan show. I would like to try it out somewhere and see how they compare to other brands.

Great video 👍🤙🇦🇺
Thanks 👍

Say no to China yellow iron
And anything else made in China
The you would be saying no to Caterpillars entire mini excavator line. They are ALL built in China.
love the BBQ grill glass protection ! haha
Any backhoes or excavators with hydraulic hammer's
I'm wondering what the price for the 75 and 80 would be compared to other brands
Are you in the market for some new equipment?
👍
Crazy how much trax plus had come. Remember passing the place as a kid and it was just one of them fabric style shops with old ragged out equipment
They have def been rolling past several years and opened quite a few new locations
@@cotontop3 I thought it was only the meridian location until I saw you post the one up there around you. How many locations they got now?
They have quite a few. New one just opened close to Hoover Alabama.
Went this week and tried out a 80 all I seen it needed was a bigger counter Weight looks pretty good for the price
Hope your doing well Tim ✌️👍🙏🙏
All good
Dont know about the large Sanys, but I've ran a SY35U, hydraulics are slow, im the type that likes fast hydraulics like cat or deere

Bullshit.
What’s is your time line for replacing your Kubota?
I don't have a timeline and doubt I will do anything.
nice looking machines. heard guys call them the Kubotas of 30 years go. trying to get a market share at a lower price.
Making Oscar accommodating, I like it!!
Yes sir lol

Maybe SANY is good stuff, the made in China part make me queasy though.

What about a track loader for tote and loading

Wht have you heard thwts bad?
CANT WAIT to get together and do a couple walk arounds together. We get through this half a foot of rain we are about to get and we gonna HOOK UP
Heck yeah man! We will do it
You keep on and you will be buying on
If they're anything like the Sany cranes.... run, run real fast don't even walk. Nothing but an electrical nightmare and steel integrity failures.

@@Firebird_876 ALL CAT mini excavators are made and built in China.
youd have to be insany to buy a sany lol they look so cheaply made
Just like Doosans. Chinsy cheap crap. People buy them for the upfront price, not the long term cost

Its the American way all stuff is made in China cars planes clothing u name it.
Let us celebrate the CCP and their success in *borrowing* our CAT technology.
CAT builds there entire mini excavator line in China.
