- Cat jumps into his baby brother's crib every morning to wake him up 🥰
Our producer, Monica talked to their mom about how her cats thought all the baby stuff was for them and how the cat taught the baby to foster kittens!
Keep up with the entire family @taylornsmith19 on TikTok
That kid's first word will definitely be "meow" 😂
My first word was meow, and we only had five cats
And when he walks it will be on all fours, like his siblings !! 🐈🐈⬛
As all babies crawl...😂@@marycook1644
mine was "cat" in my language (im not english) and we only had 1 kitty at the time
@@anonymouscausethatshowirol828omg me too!

Hilarious

Now I'm imagining the cats standing on two legs, trying to teach him to walk.
A sleepy, warm dude that wants milk constantly and likes dangling toys? Your son is almost a cat himself.
Hopefully he doesn't cough up hairballs like his furry siblings. 😂
Nice. Very clever. 👌😆👍
@@mibeatleman6767 I mean, don't babies spit and vomit a lot, too? So they might as well be coughing up hairballs.
That's hilarious 😂
Cats don’t like milk as adults
The sweetest thing is thise cats were letting the baby share their things since thet claimed them first!
That’s true, I didn’t think of that! 🧡💛
They claimed things that were not bought for them essentially.
Well of course since all that rubbing means the cats have also claimed the baby 😂😅
@@geeebuttersnap2433cats don't have a sense of personal ownership, just territory, which they will share if they trust an individual
Welcome to cats 😂@@geeebuttersnap2433
Years ago I had a sweet cat girl named Phoebe. My son was already 5 years old and she was still a kitten but she loved my son more than anything. And she always woke him up. She took her job very seriously and always woke him up, even on weekends and holidays 😂.
She is not here anymore and we still miss her everyday.
How long did she live after he was born?
@@CaptchaNeon we were blessed with her for nearly 15 years
@@kaffeemaus5851 Oh wow that’s incredible. I’m so happy you got all that time with her
I’m so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you had a really great amount of time with her though and great memories made.

This kid will be ahead of his peers. The immune system will be built up, compassion on how to treat other creatures, live entertainment, not technology. Great parenting. ❤❤❤
Agree completely. I believe just about every family would benefit from having a fur baby. It's a brilliant foundation upon which to encourage the development of empathy, emotional intelligence & responsibility. Plus it helps foster self-esteem & confidence. Griffin is going to be a kind, loving person towards animals because of this. All babies should be 'raised by cats'!
Just how adorable is this?! 😺♥️😃
Um who names their child griffin
Or, he might just conquer the world with his feline horde. Either way, he is a lucky kid.
@@Mojo182100Except his name. 😟

All wrapped up in an adorably sweet furry package that loves the whole family unconditionally. Fur babies are a fantastic addition to most households imo. 👍❤😊
The baby is also for them :)
He's the perfect crib warmer for his cats 😊
Yup. ❤
For sure
😂
Mother has provided us a new kitten. We must take care of him yes.
I like how she makes sure BOTH are safe and not just the baby.
Yes
Absolutely adorable 🥰, my cat did this with my daughter when she was a baby and she's 10 now and he's 19 and he still purrs whenever she hugs him, he's always loved her from the beginning 💟
19 years old oh my goodness! I got a cat like 6 months ago but I have always been a dog person more than anything. Absolutely hate how little time you get with dogs they just very rarely go past a certain age. But I keep hearing more and more about cats being over 14 years old. Makes me so very happy😊
I wish you all many more years together ❤
@@feliciar2773Yup cats live a decently long time usually. My old girl is 16 currently and doesn't take any medicine, has full hearing and eyesight, and still likes to play. They can live to 20 and longer even.
I wasn't as lucky my old girl passed away at age 11 I had her since she was six weeks old I have a four year old calico that she pretty much treated as a daughter or granddaughter
@@feliciar2773 Small dogs are great for companionship, cuddling, and have a much longer life expectancy than large breeds. We have 2 rescue chihuahuas that we don't know the ages of because they were grown when we got them, but we've had them both for over 10 years now, and they are definitely a major part of our lives. We also have a rescue schnauzer who was almost 10 when we got him, and now have had him for 3 or so years. They're all feisty as can be.
This is a great endorsement for keeping your pets when you have a baby instead of dumping them. I think people that grow up loving and respecting animals are usually decent humans.❤
So agree. I was just thinking this very same thing😊
I've fostered kittens for years. My kids are teenagers now, they see that work, develop empathy and see the world in a way that I am so proud of. Our kindness to the most vulnerable speaks volumes. This little tyke will be an amazing human. ❤
Hi Lucy ❤❤❤from Hobart Tasmania Australia ❤❤😂😂❤❤
Beautifully said
💯
We also "Fostered" Cats and Dogs since before we had our three Kids. We even fostered a few snakes, and one time a baby Jack Rabbit for the local wild animal rescue facility. My husband, of 36 years, and I actually met at the local SPCA. When I said Fostered I meant that was the plan, until we kept all of them 🤣. We currently have a GS who flunked out of Police Dog training. She's just too sweet, and would rather lick than bite 🥰. Our three, now adults, have their own little furlings.
Oh what are you on? Being around animals does not mean the kid will be empathetic. You taught your kid empathy, not your cat.
You do know that psychopaths often start by killing animals before moving onto humans? By your logic a psychopath would somehow learn empathy by having a pet.
My kitty was 10 years old when my daughter was born. After a little initial sadness over "competition," they became best friends for the next eight years. My daughter and I were holding Cal to see her over the Rainbow Bridge
I lost one a few days ago..very difficult.. but worth it to know we gave her a good life
I had a cat who would babysit while I did different things around the house. If either of my boys woke up, she would run to me crying. If something was out of the ordinary, she was inconsolable until I went to check on them.
🥹what a good mama to your kittens! I mean kids!
So nice when parents teach their kid growing up to respect and treat animals with love ❤!

Mr. Grinch your heart didn't grow 3 sizes because of your personality. It grew because of your over reliance on Anabolic Steroids.
Yes. I nannied for a family that let the 2 year old boy tug tails and legs of the dogs and cats they had. I was not allowed to give him time out unless he hurt me. Eventually, they gave away a dog. I was told the dog bit one of the older kids friends, but I think it bit the toddler and she didn't want me to know because well I told her to reign in this behavior or he'd get bit.

He isn't gerunteed to grow up to be a good person. I sure hope he will, but this cultural belief that all babies must be cute and grow up into amazing people is doing more harm than good.
@@tinycoinfromholland1391Makes sense. How he grows is up to him and his parents, but that hasn't happened yet. For now, we can at least revel in his cuteness.

My friend had 5 dogs, at one point we were sure that her daughter thought she was a puppy. You baby might be convinced right now that he is a kitten! Sweet story!❤❤❤
The cat is convinced that the mother is a kitten.
And that's the story of the rise of "CATMAN!"❤😊❤

Ah you think the cat hair is your ally? You merely adopted the fluff. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man(I mean, my eyes were FULL OF CAT HAIR ALL THE TIME), by then it was nothing to me but blinding!
So sweet. Lucky little boy to have such loving cat as his besties.

What a beautiful life your baby is experiencing ❤️
Such GREAT "Mommies helpers" and GREAT baby friends !!!! With their "help" Mommy can have a few more minutes of rest before getting up. And with modern baby monitors MOMMY can ensure baby's safety with 1 eye open & 1 eye closed !@
These beautiful cats are ALL THE RAGE!! they are very protective of this cute little baby!! 7 cats that looks out for the little ones!! How about that!! Amazing!!❤😊
SUCH BEAUTIFUL KITTIES! That silver Maine Coone with the extra toes is super pretty! And that baby will learn to be empathetic, gentle and understanding, way ahead of his peers. Griffin's lucky to have such amazing big siblings!
That's so wonderful and by being raised with animals cats or dogs have they have a less chance of having allergies, and they learn how to be gentle with kids and not walk around with cats upside down like I've seen in some videos
It was wonderful to read all the positive and funny comments.
I have hope that the old wives tale about cats smothering babies will not keep resurfacing.
Cats or any pets are so important to a child’s development and immune system.
What a beautiful family❤
This baby is soooooo lucky!!!! He will grow up with a respect for animals.
That is not gerunteed, it's something everyone can hope for however.
Alot of bad people looked just as innocent when they werre a baby.
This cultural romticizing of child birth & child care needs to stop. Having a baby isn't some magical thing that is gerunteed to create a moral person. It is a taxing, draining, life long commitment that isn't even gerunteed to be successful when you put in all your effort.
The mother is sweet so is her baby. She loves her cats. Her cats are adorable 🥰 I love this. No horrible abuse or hate towards animals. Just a kind human with her precious human baby and precious fur babies 💕

Wow, cuteness overload!!!
Congratulations, u nailed it mom. You just taught your baby to have that connection with animals. He's already an empath. Which we need as many empaths on this planet as we can get!!!
Stop romanticizing child care, even if they do everything right their child could still go on to do bad things. Rasing a child with care and love is good, but never gerunteed to teach empathy.
People with your beliefs are why this world is so messed up because people go into child care thinking it's some miracle thing only for their child to have some issues and the parents then have to go through hell.
I can almost feel that smile behind the pacifier! ❤❤
We had a 14 pound cat before we started bringing home seven pound babies. He too thought the baby things were for him, too. He loved the children despite their ear pulling. As they grew older, the cat became their protector and my informant on the children, running into the kitchen to let me know the children were commencing to get into what he perceived as possible trouble. He was very unique in being the only cat I knew who would play fetch!! He was very special and took his job as family cat very seriously.
Adorable siblings ❤

That's one way to make sure he has the best immune system possible! More parents need to do this, the studies show the long term benefits of babies playing with cats are fantastic!
That's a cute, happy bebae! Going to be a Vet!!!
I hope so. We don't have enough good vets around. Not just in this country but globally. I have just heard a horror story out of navare, Florida involving a dog and a broken leg. Pitiful.

Not true lol, my parents had a house cat when I was a kid and not only did I have moderate cat allergies, but I also had asthma. Both aspects have dialed down as I aged, but I'd say being raised near an animal isn't gerunteed to prevent that allergy or boost their immune system.
U don't need toys when u have kittens to play with. ❤

Beautiful Mainecoon’s & kitties and Griffin is a cutie
Mancoons r my favorite ,I had one when I was a teen got him in 1985 at a pet store an we didn't know what breed he. Was,he was surrounded by other kitties an he was so big compared to the other kittens ,big paws an beautiful markings so we got him an he lived until 2002 .
So glad you watch them. I always worried my cat would sleep on my little one's face when they were too young to turn, so I always say you need to watch them to be safe.
A Victorian mother would have a fit seeing this they had a mindset that decided every cat was just looking for a chance to (accidentally or not) smother your baby, so much so that perambulators (prams) a deluxe waist height stroller/mobile cot came with a net to close of the access to the baby and be a barrier to anything walking or flying
My grandmother tried to convince my mom that her cat or dog were bad to have around the baby. Thank goodness my mom held fast and we all grew up with cats and dogs. Tiger used to sleep either in the crib with me or on the floor beneath. I wasn't easy to sleep with as I seldom slept more than 20-30 minutes at a time and I was a very active baby😁🤗
New born Babies have been suffocated by cats treating them as warm cushions. Id say rare instances. Id never leave a newborn alone with a cat. I love cats and have never not had one but i am aware of cat scratch disease which is deadly but rare and other things about cats which mothers might need to know.
@@Ksvtjhyb7 no one said anything about leaving infants completely unattended with animals (because it isn't just cats that could hurt them/get hurt around babies and young children)
