I start to believe all Reviews of the movies and ratings are corupted , and say good stuff only about bad movies that pays them good money. This was a great movie, great acting, amazing incredible scenes...and I did not even heard of it till last week.
JackoBanon1 no. The movie is actually wayyyy too complex for most people. There's a video on youtube, i think the name is "you don't understand sucker punch", and it explains it pretty well :)
Yeah! This is one of the best movues ever and shouls be considered cult movie! And movie with such layers and depth! Just wow! I v rewatched it today for Nth time and I ll keep rewatching it my whole life

I feel like Zack Snyder gets shitted on for no reason. His films always grow on me after a second and third viewing and I think that's his talent as a visual director... I hated Watchmen when I first saw it. Now, It's in my top 5
@@shuvamghosh999 I love all of Zach Snyder's films that I've seen including Justice League (Joss Whedon edition) BUT I definitely get why people were not pleased with Justice League

Acted well and the scenes were visually stunning but the storyline was just really stupid. It was like here's a story of a trapped girl.... Oh and here's some fighting... As well done as the movie was the actual story was just awful.
Vittorio Fabregas I think you didn't get the plot at all... The people don't understand the deep storyline of this movie... It's just more than girls fighting in sexy costumes. Everybody thinks it's a simple and vanal storyline, but yeah... I really believe this movie it's not for everyone. I'm so sorry for my awful english :c
Dennise Garcia i understood the storyline rather well... But there is no real reason for the fighting except "cause why not". They tried to justify it but it really doesnt.
Vittorio Fabregas ok...babydoll was trapped in this mental house, orphan and unable to tell the world what happen with her stepfather and sister, because she was silenced by the stepfather and blue, the nurse. since day one she was sexually abused by blue and his gang. she knew this encounters were inevitable, and that she was going to be lobotomized a few days later. so she decided to fight, but not with guns, because she tried before and ended with the death of her sister. the only weapon she had was herself. so she decided to cooperate on this assaults, and while the guys were busy with her, she and the only real girl on the team, sweet pea, stole the items she needed from them (knife, lighter, map, key). so the whole epicness of the fighting scenes were because she was doing something too hard to handle, that´s why she picture herself dancing, that´s why she fought with male figures in this dark manly world. why do you think she cut the throat of the baby dragon? because she was killing her own innocence. and that´s why there are so many similarities with her rescuing sweet pea and her failed attempt to save her sister. the movie was the act of redemption of babydoll.
they didn’t work SO hard for this just to be tanked.. I feel sorry for them. I really loved this movie when was I kid and still love it as an adult, this movie and their soundtracks helped me on my character development lol, I just love this movie
People who don't understand how psychology works will mostly really not get how this movie works, I'm just glad that I understand every bits and piece of this movie, tbh people who have psychological problems do tend to have their own visionary of the world we live in. I really do appreciate this movie like a thousand percent.
as someone who grew up dissociating and disappearing in maladaptive daydreams and shit, i got this movie the first time i watched it. Just made sense to me that yeah, you go find a fantasy world in your head to live in that's more tolerable than the horrible shit you're going through in reality
This movie and the word character do not go together. I literally can't think of a movie with worse character development

wow, i'm already exhausted just by watching this, haha. the things actors go through to get the physical training like they were professionals amazes me, i wouldn't take this job lol. it's especially shocking because they are all so skinny and small and don't have much body fat or muscle so to see them work out that much is amazing. kudos on their disposition and hard work :)
This movie was amazing.. I loved it when I watches it back in 2011 and I still love it. There is no other movie produced so well. At least I can´t think of one.. It just took me in so much.. I loved it.. People who say that they don´t get it, maybe just need to listen a little bit closer.. It is all explaned..
I love Sweet Pea and her broadsword. And Rocket as a character is my favorite with that ancient pistol. And Blondie's tomahawk throw so awesome. What a fantastic way to create each character with their own individual weapon. With this kind of training I'm sure the girls recall this years later and that it's a foundation for their confidence going forward.
“That’s how I deadlift 235 lbs- it’s not muscle, it’s will.” I remember seeing this when a kid and it really stuck with me. They did such a great job with this movie.
One of the best action movies you can see... and very underrated... When I see all the profesionalism, training and passion of the acttresses, I'm simply speechless.
I don't get the so much hate for this movie.... this movie is just like east meets west...anime,comic book , fantasy book. combined.....don't mind the story ...the scenes are like lotr, terminator , resident evil, nazi meet anime....+ eye candy.. nice fan service...etc. combined
Creative, full bodied, visual extravaganza with some interesting musical covers. As a movie though, I didn't much care for it. Script either. The best part for me was the fact that the actors moved very well in the actions scenes. I very much appreciated that. From that aspect, they certainly enjoyed and deserved the fruits of their hard work.
My favorite movie! Love it even more now! I assumed they had to do fight choreography but never thought they actually went out and shot guns and lifted weights for 3 months to prepare! So much respect I love it!
I have to say, I think I need to watch this movie again. I was quite confused as to the direction it was taking. However, I still found myself loving the film. I can't wait to rewatch it lol
This is one of my all time favorite movies. So many layers to it. Makes you think a lot, which is always great. The action and acting was awesome!!! I love everything about it.
I love Sucker Punch (2011). It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and theme. The story, performance's, music, action sequences, direction, and cinematography was outstanding and incredible. It really identifies and analyzes the boundaries between reality and fantasy. Emily Browning did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Babydoll as she put tons of emotion and depth into her role. It was decent and to this day I still watch it. Sucker Punch (2011) is a true blue modern gem in cinema. Zack Snyder directed a classic that will be in our hearts forever. It never gets old.😍😎💯👍🏻
Vanessa totally owned the Ma Deuce and SAW in this film. The training everyone went through shows, and it paid off. Is and continues to be my favorite movie.
Still one of my favorite movies of all time. I watched it because I have had a crush on Jena Malone since forever. I re-watched it because it's like Fight Club, in that you pick up new stuff each time through. Emily Browning is truly a Jill-of-all-trades.

It's a Marmite movie, you love or hate it - I LOVE IT. Thanks for the up, great to see Zack and the girls having so much fun. There's another layer to this film that people tend to miss. The film's opening scene begins on a stage, mirroring the stage from the first asylum, and the second stage in Babydoll's first fantasy world where she dances to escape. Can't wait for Superman ! (and then hopefully Snyder's Justice League !)
This film literally had everything. The actors worked their butts off. Such a shame it didn't get the credit it deserved. Plus it has to be said.... Emily Browning was so insanely hot in this.
That movie was so amazing. I've watched it 3 times. And I plan on watching it again and again and again and again like I did with pirates of the Caribbean

The funniest part is the audience might not even be aware how much work was put in to make this movie.
