I will be reading the “Memory, Sorrow & Thorn” Trilogy by Tad Williams over the Summer, just finished Edgar Rice Burroughs’ “A Princess of Mars” (#1 in his “Barsoom” series), a library copy from 1920, the British 4th Edition, 104 years old!

I still need to grab a copy of Butcher's Crossing. They'll all make great palette cleansers for my otherwise heavy S/SF TBR. I'll let you know how it goes!

As much as fantasy (& sci-fi) is my go-to genre for reading, I hit a slump sometimes as well. That's where Augustus will come in for July. It will make a great palette cleanser. Let me know your thoughts on The Tainted Cup. I haven't heard too much about it yet.
I get it Tom. That happens to me, sometimes even if I actually enjoyed the first book in a series. It's all about the mood you are in, IMO. Hope Memories of Ice is still going strong for you. I'm a few chapters in now.

I think Riven Earth will be one of my top reads as well for the year. What a debut! We'll be returning to Bound in the Broken in July!

Ryan Cahill is probably long ways off for me, but I am currently reading Forsaken Planet and enjoying it.
