I bring my chihuahua home tomorrow she is 7 weeks old I have a yorkie at home already, my question is do I have to keep them totally apart until the 3 shots are all given to the puppy

Congratulations on your sweetie pie. I would definitely put the baby in her own little habitat area. Not so much out of concern for sharing illnesses since your older dog is likely already vaccinated. However, your new little puppy needs to feel confident and secure in her own little area. The transition to their new home can be quite overwhelming for a new puppy, especially one so young. She needs to have her own little space where she knows everything inside is hers. She and the Yorky can sniff each other through the crate, and of course have supervised play times, but remember that she is just a very young baby so she will need to have rest time quite often throughout the day. Impossible to choose - all the sweetie pies are gorgeous. Why are males the majority in litters? I could be mistaken in that observation. Could artificial insemination be the reason? If so, hold the prospective mummy wrong side up while you wait for time needed to settle- Ha! Is there any way you could do something to increase the number of girls? Your videos are a delight - and I’ve learnt a lot along with you being surrounded by the cuteness of baby sweetly pie sweetness.
