Performance(processor) wise this legion is good!! HP is good for an overall student + gaming with its good battery life.Also its better in that budget for a gaming laptop!. For gaming, performance of both of these will be similar as these comes with same gpu. On processing i5 9th gen is better.

Yeah Bro!! It will be better for content creation with its good processor!! Bad side is low battery life!! That will not be a prob while gaming as you have to plugin while gaming!! But will be a prob in normal usage!! Also make sure to buy additional warranty!! One more thing are you buying online or offline??
