This happened to a guy a know, except the woman was able to file a case for child support, wasn't required to inform him of the hearing, he lost because he wasn't there, and woke up to his bank account emptied due to being ordered to pay the child support retroactively (this happened in Canada) He had to go fight her in court to prove he wasn't the kids father, didnt know her, and was very openly gay. No idea why she picked him, but I can't believe she was just allowed to _say_ he was the father, and suddenly he can't pay rent, bills, buy food etc. They weren't even required to _let him kniw._ Thats completely terrifying. Every birth should just automatically come with a paternity test, and a separate form for the father to sign after confirming he saw them and is signing his name as the father. That way, its a routine thing and nobody has to feel bad asking/being asked to take one, and nobody gets fcked over. Also wtf Canada, it needs to be _required_ that the person who's life is about to be imploded be _informed of it._
Yeah, mandatory paternity tests will never happen. The courts rather stick a man they know with the child support instead of having to fork out benefits. Heck if a region get's enough child support paid they usually get more money from the state so it's in their best interest to stick as many innocent men with child support than go chase the real fathers. Heck, some countries, France being one of them Have made Paternity tests illegal, heck any form of dna testing like 23&me and such as it 'had the potential to break up too many families' and those who are caught doing so can face prison time.
@@MikeSVZ unfortunally this is not a single case. This happends a lot. Women put mens name without even knowing them and because of the law in some states they cant even get a paternity test without the mother's consent
happened to me before but didn't have any money in the bank to be drained. just got a notice from DHS I was behind 5yrs on child support 10,000$. once I saw the name of my ex and DOB of the child unless she held that baby in for 2yrs, no chance it was mine. had to go to DHS lab and take hours out of my day to prove I was not the father. all she had to do was give my name and done. I will note that during those 5yrs I was having a hell of a time looking for decent paying jobs and was getting rejected left and right. not sure if this had anything to do with it, but I always wondered.
Knocked up with no idea who the dad is and completely reliant on her parents- and you still think they are controlling? Looks like they should have been harsher
I mean it’s all messed up but the psycho could have at least accused someone who she’s met and actually slept with before.. like what?? Wouldn’t surprise me if the sister wants some of the money or the best friend has something she’s holding against OPs sister and that’s why she’s backing her up
If this was the result of college then the parents should cut off the college account. Imagine paying all that money for your child to turn into a psycho activist
Sister’s Friend is a Psycho, Sister is a Psycho, and the guy is a Psycho for being a Feminist himself. Also why is he consistently bringing it up that the girls parents are controlling? Sounds like she wasn’t under control enough.
Another person talking out of their azz, since even knowing the definition of a feminist requires too much mental effort. Op is totally correct, that this issue has nothing to do with being a feminist, and Millie is actually an antifeminist. Just an FYI, parents being controlling actually would cause a person to try to figure out how to manipulate them, since Millie wouldn't be able to talk constructively to truly controlling parents. Being controlling is not the answer.
You've got to have an egg for a brain if you cannot understand that people with controlling parents 9 times out of 10 do stupid reckless crap when they finally become independent. She's acting out BECAUSE she was controlled so much. Normal people are able to rebel as teenagers and learn right from wrong when they become adults. People who had mommy and daddy breathing down their neck 24/7 don't get that chance and decide to rebel as adults instead.
IKR? I am surprised that Millie didn't just say she was SA'd by someone, since she DID have a ONS. But I guess she wouldn't be ale to get child support from someone who doesn't know.
Also, sounds like the sisters cheated before and is projecting. Because she's weirdly determined for everyone to sympathize and support a cheater.

That's crazy, hope he's in a better situation now. She should definitely face consequences, do you know if she did?
…. Sound like the plot to a good movie. Have your buddy write a script, he could get lucky with that

Quick question: why y’all dramatize the titles with things that didn’t happen? Were the lawyers in the room with us?!?! Anyone?….
THATS WHAT I AM SAYING BRO
Am I the only one who thinks the sister is in on this & is supposed to get a cut of whatever she gets from OP?
The dialogue in this script is sharp and witty, adding depth and authenticity to the characters. 🗣💬
The way I would have been petty af and responded to the email with: Good for you. What makes you think we care?
Sounds like sis is in love with Millie.
You can't baby trap without being psychically, involved with someone.

I can't believe the lengths some people will go to 😲
So either the sister went full feminist or is in love with Millie
nah, this isn't feminism. these stories are often fake. my guess is written by someone who doesn't know what feminism is
@RaspberryHugs sorry to burst your bubble but this is what feminism has become.
Who wanna bet sister is also a cheater?

This has to be the stupidest plot ever hatched, they could’ve pinned the blame on any shmo instead of the one guy who she never met.
