  • I had a couple trees come down on my property in South Carolina with fence damage and roof damage. We lost power but it came back on a few days later. I have family in Burnsville and knew they got hit hard. After my family and my house was in order, I felt like I had to go check on my family in the mountains so I went to Burnsville to see what I could do. I really didn't want to make a video on the hurricane because I didn't want to seem like I was just trying to get views. However, when I went to Burnsville on Saturday, I felt compelled to share a small segment of their story, and that story is of the resident's resilience. Everyone was so self sufficient and everyone was doing what they could and still are for their community. The volunteers also came from everywhere, in which I met one guy who came from Charleston, SC and felt that he couldn't sit at home with power and not do something. So many supplies came in from people from across the nation. The National Guard brought a truck too.
Also, I am not monetized so I am not making any money off of this video.
Thanks for watching and there are some good channels that are documenting truth up there.
Please check them out, they are giving good information:

Was just telling Lauren I thought you should make one of around Gvl. Such devastation in the Mtns with all the rain and then the hurricane. Will have to continue to lend a hand months and years from now. Nice video.

@@MrJestyler I really wasn’t even going to publish these videos… However, I felt compelled to… I kind of wanted to go out around the Greer and Greenville last week however I was still dealing with my own damage and people without power and really didn’t find the time to make videos. Although I think now maybe I should have to get the information out. There’s one guy I’ve been watching named Mark Huneycutt up in the mountains and he’s been doing a real good job of giving true information and showing what they’re dealing with up there. I feel like we’ve been dealt a heavy hand here too, but we’re pretty much back on our feet here. I felt like I needed to lay eyes on my family in Burnsville and also do something small to help and mostly what they needed was bodies helping unload truckloads of supplies come in.
Thank you for the feedback as always

@@MrJestyler I’m so glad your aunt is ok.. I really didn’t want to mention I gave a hand in helping because I didn’t want to try to get any credit at all but also don’t want anyone thinking I’m just going to film either. That’s also why I didn’t do any narration or anything. I’m also not monetized so not making anything off this. Did your area get hit by Helene?
