I have had that bike since 2015. Best fitting bike for me, that I have ever owned. My wife and I tour and explore 20-25 miles at a time. Just thinking about motorizing both of our bikes, to make it a little easier to go further. Its like the video was made for me 😁. But I need to save up a bit first

I am no nerd...(wish I was) im just here trying to save some money on these ridiculous fuel prices. I have no idea 99 percent of the time what the hell your talking about, however , I find the community is friendly and mostly always willing to help out in some shape or form. Its much appreciated 👍

I love your shoes. Thought they were Saucony at first but the logo is a bit different. But then again they have a few variations of their logo so I think you have Saucony. Nice shoes.

Just turned 50 last month and took my Staight 8 Electra out of storage. Rode it once and hit some hills where I now live and put it away again. Watched ebike videos and was just about to drop $2000-$3500 for a new ebike then stumbled on your TH-cam channel. Saved me money! Is it reasonable to think I could convert my Electra?

Does anybody know how that could work? Wondering if there’s a difference between a 2015 and 2017 Raleigh MTB bottom bracket (2017 Raleigh Tokul

Do you sell total kits to convert to electric… like not just a motor but all the special tools and what not? Or can we just get by with some wrenches? Do you have any suggestions on budget bikes to buy that suit converting well?

I just had a BBSHD on my Montague Paratrooper. Soooo much different then my Madmods. I got it up to 38mph. I need to get a chain guard for it, my pants keeps getting caught in the chain

You should do a ebike upgrade for the ribble ultra slr that needs a e bike version badly , im hoping mahle x20 gets put on it because it's lighter than the x35 but at present doesn't look like any chance.of a ribble ultra e bike

Would you be able to put a BBS02 on a 2017 Raleigh Tokul 2? Is the bottom bracket compatible or will there need to be some adaptors? Thanks!

You record videos in advance? This in February? I do the same thing. I have videos that are over two years old right now that I still haven't posted online.
Anyway I have an appointment with you on Saturday. I have over 600 miles and I think it's time for a chain replacement because I think I have been keeping my mid drive in too high of a gear at startup, especially in assist 5/5. Gear 4/7 clearly is too high. I learned recently gear 3 is better. Mid Drives can be in lower gears than ordinary manual bikes.

I have a 2015 Trek Top Fuel EX7. I’m going to buy Bafang BBSHD mid drive kit. Does the battery fit on the down tube?
    Thanks

My bike shop guy told me that Amazon Bafang is different (lower, they specifically referred to it as “Amazon quality”) quality than the Bafang they order from their source. Is there truth to a claim like this?

I'm currently scouring the used market for a nice hard tail. I want to get at least, hydraulic brakes and a better front fork. I'm looking at Trek Marlins, Giant Talons, GT Avalanche, and a really sweet 2015 Specialized Crave pro 29r.
Possible for you to help me narrow my scope for a 1000 watt conversion?
I won't be offended if you think I should book a consult.

The only thing he may want to do is put in a lower gear, and if he indeed has a 14- tooth high gear change it to an 11, or 9- And why’ll he’s at it might as well change the low gear to around a 50, so you can extremely easily pull up the steepest hill hundreds of pounds with a cart attached *if that is something that’s a possibility*

    • @dennisyoung4631
      @dennisyoung4631 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Can confirm. Using a BBS-HD, 42 tooth on the front, 42 for the lowest gear. On the former build, the lowest gear was about 28 or so, and I could pull bad hills with a B.O.B. Trailer with a full load of groceries.
The derailleur can cope with a 46 tooth lowest gear, if needed.
