Old video, and stupid question here.. but i really love the art of Guildwars 2. and your bird on the left kinda has that artistic feel 2 it.. how would i learn to paint like that? would really appriciate some guidence!
Dude same! GW2 art is bomb. The best advice I would give is look into painting techniques instead of line drawing, which typically starts with valued and shape and leaves detail up for interpretation/only infers it, instead of stating it directly. Unfortunately, knowing how to suggest detail means you have to know what it is you're ultimately suggesting, so to get to the whispy/stylized painting stuff that looks cool you have to do a bunch of studies. Check out Craig Mullins tutorials for a good head start!

Using a pen and tablet makes your life a lot easier and I definitely recommend it for drawing digitally. For photopashing specifically though it's not as necessary: when I'm photobashing I usually am using mostly mouse and keyboard :)
Yep! That's an added step called "paint overs" where you photobash the base then omit detail to get to a semi-real or more heavily stylized aesthetic. It's pretty tough to do though!

Good video but i think you should paint over the texture that you put on subject otherwise it’ll look flat and to obvious

Depends, but for most cases no and you'd get away with fair use/ trasformative use, but in theory you could.

In a fraction of the time: yep! Photobashing is to decrease render time while still keeping a high level of photoreal polish.
