I am completely blind and have been so since birth. I can’t see the video, but the music is awesome. Also I am a great big fan of Talos four. Man, if there was anywhere to go other than earth, if that place existed, I defy the death penalty and any other damn Starfleet regulation to get there. I love the Talosians My late ex-husband played the cage for me somewhere in the early 2000‘s. Maybe it was even in the 1990s. All I know is that from the moment I heard that not so sexy but very sexy thought transmission from the guy with the medallion, the one they called the keeper and the one that the other Talosian called magistrate. I love that guy. I went to a Star Trek convention once dressed as a Talosian and I got a lot of traction from that. A lot of people ask for my autograph and if they could take a picture with me. It was a blast. But damn don’t I love the Talosians. I wish I could I wish they were real and I wish I could go there. Yeah, I know I’m sounding like a teenybopper so I won’t even say what my age is because it would be embarrassing. But my life is quite limited because I’m also in a wheelchair and have mental health issues. I’m quite alone in the world so my life is quite limiting and limited. So I live a lot of my life in my head. A lot like my favourite people.
Getting the Talosians on board would have been an interesting solution to the Dominion War; had the Dominion taken the Federation, they would have simply sent the violent-minded Jem Hadar to take out the Talosians, while keeping the Vorta at a safe distance, lest the Talosians affect them. Sisko could have made the Talosians aware of this threat, and requested a small complement of them accompany him back to the main areas of battle, where they would take the Vorta unawares (as well as the Cardassians, and possibly the Breen). The Talosians would then have the Vorta order the Jem Hadar to attack their own forces, earning the Federation an early victory - well worth Sisko's life (if they would have even dared to execute him after saving the day).
As the creator of the Talos system add-on, I would like you to know that you did an excellent job demonstrating it in this video. (Though I probably should also point out that, in my "Star Trek" fanfiction, it is stated that by 2442, General Order 7 no longer applies to Talos IV, but rather to a different planet, Angel I, and that to violate it no longer carries the death penalty, instead merely being punishable by dishonourable discharge from Starfleet.)
***** Of course I do. I've seen the episode numerous times, and in fact I've been a fan of the series for as long as I can remember. Basically, it was because the Talosians believed that if humanity were to discover their powers of illusion, they would only end up destroying themselves the same way the Talosians themselves did. However, humanity eventually did discover a similar power on their own thanks to technological improvements (namely the holodeck) and ultimately did not destroy themselves because they were informed enough of the dangers of virtual reality addiction (perhaps in part thanks to the Talosians) and smart enough not to fall for the same trap. This is why I feel that the whole quarantine would've become obsolete by the TNG era. On a totally different note, it's probably worth mentioning that since the video was uploaded, I have released several updates to the Talos system add-on, in order to take advantage of more recent add-on developments and to stabilize the planets' orbits. In particular, the fifth planet was where the fourth should have been, and vice versa, in the original release.
Makes me think you are a fan of Robert Wise. What is with the hardon for viewing every aspect of your starship. Could of done without the first 6 minutes!

Why did your shuttle dock in the impulse engine?

The Talos system has 11 planets, not 5.
Shuttle by was in wrong place but good video anyway
