It’s not so much about epidemics as many zombie stories are. It’s more about racism and the way that times of adversity have the worst consequences for those who are already disadvantaged. So it’s very relevant right now (and always) and I strongly recommend it. Looking forward to the rest of this video series!

I queried my YA Contemporary that involves a deaf teen girl who enters a hearing camp as a counselor--has to lie to fit in--it's the story of my heart. I had gotten a couple of bites from agents, but no one is interested. I'm hoping my middle grade will capture thier hearts! Maybe I should reach out to your agent, Lindsay! As far as my writing projects, I have my faerie novel with betas that I'm excited to do the next draft when I get it back from them (my hope is it will be my second to last draft before querying!). While I wait on getting that back I am working on a YA fantasy Romeo and Juliet story with shape-shifting dragons that I'd ideally like to finish by the end of the month so it can be with betas while I edit my faerie novel.
I have a million story ideas and they are all diferent genres at this moment I'm going to start writing my fake dating celebrity/writer romance and I'm brainstorming for my assassin (but with poison) fantasy duology. I'm so excited for you and I hope you can fulfill all your author dreams one day.

We had COVID at the same time! I also have anxiety so it was quite the couple weeks for me as well. I also did not go to the hospital though I was obsessively checking my blood oxygen saturation and literally watched Pride and Prejudice and Bridgerton again and again until it was over. So glad you made it out okay!
