    The manual that came with the charger didn't explain very much. Maybe to someone who uses lipo batteries regularly the program/set up to this charger might be straight forward but for me - not so much. Thankyou for this video. My batteries are now charging.

    Can you charge soldered li ion batteries with this one ?

    • @ChrisHouseHobby

      You can charge almost all lithium cellis. Yes lithium ion will work
      Always consult your manual for your batteries before charging
      Make sure your settings are correct to be safe :)

    While charging you can check each cell by pressing the plus button

    I’m surprised you don’t use the venom duel pro.4 batteries at a time not too bad with all the batteries you need for a fun day with the toys. I know the price is a bit steep but you get four chargers in one really.

    • @ChrisHouseHobby
      @ChrisHouseHobby  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah good charger
      It’s overkill for about 90% of the folks out there. We found that most hobbyists like a nice easy single charger
      Dual chargers have been hot lately with all the new 6s trucks
      We have used /sold venom chargers in the past and have had failures... it’s weird because Venom is a top dog in our eyes. Thanks for the comment

    Good afternoon. Please advise what is the most optimal (speed is not important, the main thing is the reliability and durability of the battery) parameters S65 for charging LiPo TopTuning 6500mAh, 4S, 14.8V, 80C, 2C, 96.2 Wh?
    Thank you.

      This charger can charge 4s but your asking to much from it
      4s fully charged is 16.8v (4.2v per cell)
      16.8 x 6.5 (6500mah) = 109.2
      Your battery requires 109.2 watts to efficiently charge your battery at a rate of 1c
      This charger is fine for say a typical 3s 5000mah but your asking a bit much from it
      It will charge it but it will take a long time plus you’ll be working it to death, ideally you need double of this charge being only 65watts
      Great little charger tho, far superior to the b6 ac model

    • @ChrisHouseHobby
      @ChrisHouseHobby  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question
      You can change the lithium bolts per cell in the settings to 3.8v per cell (lithium high voltage) and that will do the job
      Chris
      Ps the setting is harder to find in the charger but it’s there

    Charging first time. I have a 2s 7.4v battery with 5200mah. Im using the balance cable which has three wires, one goes to each - and + terminals, but there's a third that i guess goes into the battery middle hole?? Please help. Also I've followed the video and after 7mins, it says 8.2v, im worried this number is higher than the 7.4v after only 7 mins
