one thing that made me fall in love with this game is the music and how the stage and the enemies moved in rhythm to it. it was like a beautiful, choreographed dance.
This was a great version if you couldn't afford a Sega Saturn at the time and if you couldn't afford a Mega Drive either then there was also the excellent Master System version.
So I'm confused. Was this footage re-sized to a 16:10 ratio or did this game actually have an option to run in widescreen? Just curious because your videos always seem to be displayed in the proper format.
My memory is a little fuzzy, and while the graphics are somewhat impressive for 1990, the music and sound are however, quite awful. Was Darius 2 rushed into production on the Mega Drive or something?

The enemies of this game were inspired on sea creatures!

I can agree with the sound effects sounding bad but the music sounds just fine. Honestly it sounds better than the Arcade original.
Godly 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Can I run a Japanese mega drive on USA voltage ?
Yes you can.
As long as you can give it 9V DC
