I just wanted to add - your creatures look “alive”. They also look like they think and feel. Love the bear animation you did and how it looks like how a bear walks. You are an excellent observer of not only how the creature looks but also their spirit. Thank you for your contribution to the Disney films I have loved through the years and for your own projects as well. 👏🏼

Wonderful painting. I love the expression on the face. Amazed at how you render the volume, weight, textures, expression with your line work and light and shadow. I always learn watching you. But you also put a dynamic feel to your paintings. They look like they could move. Mine tend to be stiff. I suppose your years of animation and drawing from life has honed your skill of making a creature look like it could jump, move, fly while looking at it. It is like you capture the life of the creature like a snapshot. Thank you for teaching drawing and animation. You are a talented artist and teacher. ❤

When you work, do you use reference images, or do you draw everything from imagination?
