The table he supposedly went through didn't actually break, it just slid down so maybe that's why? I dunno though, I was a bit bamboozled too, the whole match just didn't make much sense.
Jeff and Butcher were both eliminated and should've left afterwards. That shouldn't have counted for Jeff's Swanton after already being eliminated. No DQ only means weapons allowed, Butcher shouldn't have been able to continue after Matt.
NO DQ includes wrestlers interfering unless otherwise stipulated. More times than not they would leave but there have been times where eliminated wrestlers interfere. But for them to let him win a tables match putting him through is unheard of and makes zero sense.
People give Jeff's his flowers for all the batshit crazy stuff he did putting his body on the line but I was stunned when Matt still does his Hardyz Leg Drop at 0:06.. the very move that sapped his health and made him move this way now. The Hardyz are truly professionals.

I am very concerned of this current version of Jeff Hardy doing Swantons I feel like one day he going to botch one & break his neck it really comes up way to close that he is going to land on his neck.
fr all they’re doing with the build up is that just both interfere after each other and there’s been nothing else but that. no promos, no discourse, no angles, just interferences

As much as I enjoyed it in their youth, I really hope they find a more suitable style or just retire while they have mobility. Honestly high flying and the crazy bumps are not friendly for a long career.
Matt’s already had to have his lower spine fused due to the top rope leg drop spots. It’s why his hips and knees don’t move when he runs. That leg drop and double suplex off the barrier had to be extra painful with his fused spine
One advice for AEW Technical Team, the audio of the mics attached on the cameras are very sensitive, we can hear the fans talking with each other and, sometimes, the wrestlers calling the spots. Besides that, it was ok...maybe a solid 7/10, Jeff botch the Poetry Emotion, but it's nothing that we can't forgive...well,it was ok. Now end this feud please😅
Jeff Hardy looks like he's one high spot from a wheel chair. Jeff you've done enough to entertain us, more than enough. It's time to hang up the boots and mentor the youth you've done enough Jeff.

Thank god I wasn’t the only one thinking this, it was so stupid
People give Jeff's his flowers for all the batshit crazy stuff he did putting his body on the line but I was stunned when Matt still does his Hardyz Leg Drop at 0:06.. the very move that sapped his health and made him move this way now.
The Hardyz are truly professionals.
Never underestimate The Hardy Boyz. They're not just the legendary tag team in the world, but also the masters of extreme.😃🙂
As a 50-year-old fan with back and pelvis issues, the Hardys are making me wince harder than I did watching Terry Funk walk to the ring during his hardcore run. I love seeing them back together doing it again and I will still love them if they Take It Easy and Stop Trying to Kill Themselves. One swantombomb a month would be plenty for me.
JR said it right when he said it was 'bowling-shoe-ugly' tables match.
Crazy, I read this comment at the exact same moment he said it
Hardy’z take so much pain.. how much can your body take of this? This is at least 20+ years of brutal hardcore action. These dudes and other superstars deserve their flowers.
You know I really appreciate both teams for doing the crazy spots that they do, but in my opinion the should be more conservative on the high risk moves. No need to prove what we already know, best dang tag teams in the business. Would love to see them for as long as possible being safe and healthy. P.S love both teams!!!
Exactly. At this point the Hardy’s have nothing to prove. Save the big stunts for when it really matters
they're also trying to give the crowd what they want to see
Agreed! It's totally fine for Jeff to save his Swanton Bomb for PPVs or special Dynamite episodes only.
Yea but in the the process of “Giving the crowd what they want” they’re destroying their bodies. No one will remember this match tomorrow . Save this chaos for big matches
Agreed, Jeff in particular looked like he was dying after the big Swanton. Could be amazing selling but more likely than not that REALLY fuckin hurt. Not about to complain about getting big matches on free TV but please, don't kill someone for it.
Butcher and blade deserve to be tag champs
Hardy’s have like 5 more matches like this in them, you can honestly see the exhaustion and hesitation in this match they’re getting old and it’s showing
Matt Hardy was already slowly phazing out prior to Jeff coming to aew
The Hardy Boyz have been going crazy these last few weeks. Having some killer matches!
I love it as a fan but protect yourselves first and foremost as a performer. Big spots aren't needed all the time to prove that the Hardy's are 🐐-ed.. we know already!!! Your health and well being is most important!!! Shout to Butcher & Blade being tough AF SOB's!!! This match was woooonderful!!!
I never get tired of stinger making the save ❤
Hate seeing The Butcher and Blade losing so frequently! They are such a good team!
True, sure taking an L to the Hardys in a tables match was probably on their bucket list though.
@@joshuabryant9845 100 percent!
They’re losing to the greatest tag team evaaa also I’m sure they’re honored to be in ring with all time greats
@@AFTERPROWRESTLING asking you questions Making Comments, Jeff Hardy and The Butcher are two men born in 1977, at ages 44. Jeff Hardy was born on August 31 in Cameron, North Carolina, and The Butcher was born on December 12 in Buffalo, New York?
@@AFTERPROWRESTLING please reply
The Hardys still got it! After all these years they are still going Extreme. I could not be happier to see Jeff and Matt together as a tag team again. The Hardy Boys are by far the best tag team ever, living legends!
This is their best match in AEW so far......so reslient, picked up the pace, very physical!
They botched multiple times they shouldn't be doing huge spots every week not just for their health but it deminishing them
why was jeff out so quick? youd think he would be last one left
30 Years of Risk Taking, TLC's, Twist of fates , Swanton Bombs, Senton Bombs, Etc. The Hardys Are The Solidification of The Greatest Tag Team Of All Time, and Watching This Proves Why. Whether they're Team Xtreme with Lita, The New Brood, Or The Hardys and Michael Hayes/Terri Runnels, These 2 Brothers Will Forever Be My All Time Favorite. Screw All The Things They Want us to forget about them (bad Specifically) but Idc about the Bad shit. Matt and Jeff Hardy have been on my TV since I was in Diapers and I'll Continue to watch them Every Day that Goes by until they Both Retire, And In The Hall Of Fame. The Wrestling Business better put Michael Hayes, Terri Runnels, Gangrel and Lita All in there with them
Why is Matt doing leg drops when he has complained about his spine fusing and stuff from those leg drops?.....
That swanton on the blade is the best one I’ve seen on table from a ladder in years from Jeff what an insane match!
Matt will be turning 48 this year while Jeff will turn 45… Seeing them put such risky painful performances still blows my mind!
The Hardys with their classic Hardy Boyz attire. Brings back memories.
Huge respect for these amazing wrestlers
Man I love the Hardys I love Jeff, I love Sting & Darby, and starting to love Andrade too!! This feud is one of the Best right now!!
Matt's really on some last days of HBK stiffness, huh. He looks so uncomfortable.
He is getting up there in age being 47 years old.
@@bighand1530 Really? That's insane. I really still think of them as young 20 something's running and gunning.
@@quesoblanco5586 Yeah
Matt? What about Jeff?
He keeps landing those Swantons ass first, rather than on the shoulders like he used to where he'd just roll off and it would be safe.
@@knightshousegames his swantons look like he is killing guys now my goodness
Much respect to these men some over 40 years old taking hard bumps like that
This match was just not good at all I feel like we're running dry on the Team Allin & AFO story they need to do the inevitable 6 Man which has Allin & The Hardys Vs Andrade & Private Party to close this feud once & for all it just comes across as very formulaic. I am very concerned of this current version of Jeff Hardy doing Swantons I feel like one day he going to botch one & break his neck it really comes up way to close that he is going to land on his neck.
You know fair comment jeff is a professional, he knows what his doing
fr all they’re doing with the build up is that just both interfere after each other and there’s been nothing else but that. no promos, no discourse, no angles, just interferences
What a fun show tonight was. Crowd was electric.
Damn blade took all that 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 to him
I swear after all these years I don't see how Tiger Hardy and Matt Hardy can even move around. Still great to see them. I think they have a cult like following. Love it.;-).
I have been a fan of the Hardyz since I was a kid. But seeing their wrestling style still center around high risk spots is stressful. As much as I enjoyed it in their youth, I really hope they find a more suitable style or just retire while they have mobility. Honestly high flying and the crazy bumps are not friendly for a long career.
I’m pretty sure they said recently that this is their last contracts, so they’re going all out for one last run.
Shut up wrestling nerds
Besides, what long career? Somehow they've been doing this for 30 years and are still in one piece!
Hardys vs. Young Bucks would be an amazing retirement match
Matt’s already had to have his lower spine fused due to the top rope leg drop spots.
It’s why his hips and knees don’t move when he runs. That leg drop and double suplex off the barrier had to be extra painful with his fused spine
That table spot plus the lead up was exactly Dramatic Fashion, could pop on that 24/7
Outlaw mud show. Much respect to the Hardy’s but how much longer can they keep doing matches like this at their age?
Broooo...Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy are absolute legends
I hope they win IWGP or AEW tag team titles soon
THAT WAS INSANE!!
Damn, that bumb blade Took there, nasty stuff. And jeff Hardy is just a crazy man doing this style of wrestling for over 20 Years now
One advice for AEW Technical Team,
the audio of the mics attached on the cameras are very sensitive, we can hear the fans talking with each other and, sometimes, the wrestlers calling the spots.
Besides that, it was ok...maybe a solid 7/10, Jeff botch the Poetry Emotion, but it's nothing that we can't forgive...well,it was ok.
Now end this feud please😅
The Hardy Boyz, Sting, CM Punk, Mox, Danielson, Cage, Cole at one show what a time to be alive... no, what a time to be ELITE!
Seems like a retirement house…
Thank goodness there’s MJF
Butcher & Blade look amazing!
These are Hall Of Famers in action long live Matt and Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy looks like he's one high spot from a wheel chair. Jeff you've done enough to entertain us, more than enough. It's time to hang up the boots and mentor the youth you've done enough Jeff.
You gotta love JR “that was one hell of a ladder match” 😂
I would love it if Jeff and Matt stop doing spots on the outside
They had this spot at one point at WRESTLEMANIA, and AEW is putting it on FREE TV ... absolutely insane time to be a wrestling fan
💯💯💯
Solid show last night brrah!!!
Keep making the Hardys do these things on free TV regularly instead of rare ppvs because why not? It's not like they're in the late stages of their career, it's not like they need their bodies after 50..😖
AEW the Hardyz and Icon Sting are my favorite of all times.
Number 2 is right. I felt bad for these dudes. This was a rough one.
Jeff Hardy is amazing. Remember he's 44 years old.
so it was kinda like you have 2 lives each. since they didnt go to the back. better than what i expected. love the innovativeness by aew
Not really innovative to AEW. That's how the original tag team table match between The Hardys and The Dudleys at Royal Rumble 2000 worked.
@@steventhompson9452 why do so many people get confused by this as if this isn’t how these matches have worked for decades
@@infinite-sadness I was wondering the same thing. The impression I got from reading all the comments on this match is that people are too focused on the "elimination" aspect of the match, and not the "no disqualification"... It doesn't matter if someone was eliminated. Both team members have to be put through a table with an offensive move.
The Hardy’s are hands down, the greatest tag team of all time. They’ve been literally doing these insane bumps for over 2 decades now, all for our entertainment🐐👏🏻
Wasn’t Jeff eliminated? How did he win the match?
It's not really "eliminated". Just both members of each team have to go through a table. It doesn't matter who puts who through a table as long as it's offensive.
This kinda confused me as well. I thought Jeff got injured, so they elimated him so he could get medical attention. But then he finished the match, so I thought them eliminating Jeff so early in the match was weird.
Butcher and Jeff were both eliminated and should've ended with Matt and Blade. Didn't make sense for either to continue or Jeff's Swanton ftw.
AEW don't enforce rules lol haven't you watched the product for the past 3 years hahaha
It’s amazing to see that Matt and Jeff still take all of those risks move at their age
lol :
Tony Khan: There's a bonus in your contract if you jump off a ladder
Jeff Hardy: Yessir
Jeff Hardy's body: (meme) Oh shit not again
AEW Trainer: We're gonna need ice A LOT OF IT
The Hardys. Butcher and Blade. Both of them did great with the Tables match. Old memories from the brothers.
Gracias a este video mi amor por el wrestling sube y me motiva, algún día llegaré a estar en un cuadrilatero de Jeff Hardy.
Un día me recordarán.
This is bringing back all the nostalgia from both previous promotions
I was pretty confused by this match. Wasn't Jeff eliminated at the start? (It was announced that Jeff was eliminated despite the table not breaking). After Matt took out Butcher, Jeff then eliminated Blade for the win...but, how can Jeff win the match if he's out?
Jeff Hardy slip and fall botch was amazing 😂😂
First one Hardyz for life!!
Reminds me of the first ever tag team table match, Hardy Boyz v 3D at the Royal Rumble in 2000 if I remember right
Exactly like that
