What is BMW Thinking!? | BMW Heated Seats Subscription Service

Want heated seats in your BMW? Well, you might have to pay a monthly subscription. BMW has done the unthinkable. Offering heated seats as a monthly payment in the form of a subscription.
While this might make the cost of a BMW more appealing to the masses, it certainly is a rather interesting decision and certainly not the first that BMW's made over these past years.

On my 4th BMW, 2018 M3CP, that likely will be my last, sadly so. Not sure what BMW has been doing over the last past few years but I am sure it won’t include me.

Good for you! As much as I like some of their cars, this company has proven to be incredibly scummy. That’s my opinion anyhow.

The price of the hardware is already paid for when you purchase the car, the "option" to have it is a software lock deliberately included to rob you, this "feature" makes absolutley no sense, is not like a car without the hardware can have heathed seats by paying the subscription, if people complies (by purchasing bmw cars or its subscriptions for example) it will only get worst

The undetermined success of this will likely decide what to do for the next one down the road. While I think the idea can make some financial sense as a buyer, I’m certainly not a fan of this.

Just don't buy the car cause if people start buying this you can sure as hell bet its getting out of hand what's next you need to pay for brakes look you bought the car just add the function already what's the need for giving you an option its pointless

As crazy as it sounds, I’m certain it’ll actually work for them from a profit standpoint. That’ll inevitably lead to more of this in the future. I’m very curious to see how this plays out, but I’m definitely not interested in this kind of practice.

@@CarsLifeYT I'm with you on that but I've seen there are already hacks for the car the concerning thing about if your car gets hacked your location and movements can be shown to hackers like what were they thinking
