Great patterns! Might be worth playing them in "ascending going down" and "descending going up". Like how when playing thirds in C Major you'd play: C-E, D-F, E-G... C-E, B-D, A-C... And not C-E, D-F, E-G...C-A, B-G, A-F... (at least I wouldn't) This doesn't always work but I find that there are some hidden sounds that we often overlook when switching directions mid way
Really enjoyed this! Was the first solo an improvisation? Is there a score for that intro solo or a list of the chords being outlined? If not I’ll try and slow it down and transcribe as it sounded great! All the best.

The diminished scale is too recognizable and people always wear it out and vastly overestimate its usefulness.
