Assuming one could source or make such a flavour of ice cream, could one serve a black sesame financier with black sesame ice cream? Or could that be a little too much?
Delicious... but i reduce the sugar by 35% ...cos everyone who tried the original recipe found it tooo sweet . But everyone loves the black sesame fragrance
Hello! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Regarding the black sesame paste you are using, does it contain sugar/honey? Or just purely made from oil and sesame powder. The consistency of your paste looks quite liquidly.
oh hmm well i would do it at the same temp? it's been such a long time since i've made plain tuiles - looks like there are quite a few videos on youtube related to this.
oh it won't give the same taste. you need to use sesame paste - you can make it yourself if you have black sesame. the size of financier is similar to the pan that I have linked in the descriptions.

어제구워서 먹어봤는데 고소하고 맛있어요.
2배합해서 구울까 하다가 흑임자라서 애들이 안먹을까봐 6개만 구웠는데 너무 맛있데요. 담엔 두배합해야겠어요. 휴지안해도 되는 레시피라서 좋고요. 배꼽도 잘나와요

Hi HanBit, is it alright to use black sesame powder? And what is the size of the financier? is it 11cm x 4cm?
oh it won't give the same taste. you need to use sesame paste - you can make it yourself if you have black sesame. the size of financier is similar to the pan that I have linked in the descriptions.

oh I've always only used sesame in the tuile...you can use sliced almonds though.
