Nicely done Steve-o. Real HVAC pro. I've never been a fan of those jack screw actuators. Worked on Cambridge before. They make good units. That flame was a wild child. It definitely is operating much better now. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us....as you say " leave the trade better than you found it" " master of the obvious is another favorite....look forward to all your content
When I can if there are several manuals on the same units I try to take one to keep on the van. If no manuals I will search it up on line. Manuals are there for a reason. Good stuff as always Steve O!
Had this happen before those dampers will tend to get stuck and break the arms off or the lock pins will break they will be sending you a belimo which is a nice set up. They even have installation videos on TH-cam.
@@EverythingHVACR I usually just replace them, butI have scuffed them up with some sanding cloth to get a little more time out of them. I was taught to remove belt, squeeze together and pull into groove then try pushing it back. If there is any resistance, the sheave is worn.
Nice. Like most units, I'm sure the general operation is the same. Air flow is critical. Do they use maxitrol? And what type of actuator? I think Cambridge is using a different actuator now.

Thanks Jason! I appreciate you.
Nice troubleshooting & nice fix ... Thx
Thanks, Eddy!
Great Video. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching ZE!
Nice work Steve. Thank you for the knowledge.
Thanks Steven
Well done! 🔥 That’s an Amazon size building.
Thanks Subcool! Slightly smaller, I've actually been in Amazon in S Indiana, 1.2 million Square feet
Great video! I definitely learned something today.
Thanks, Billy!
Great job Steve has always.
Thanks Jr!

Thanks, Bryan! Same, I always grab a manual if I can. fix the problem in front of you, and then read the manual at home.

I have seen the belimo dampers but have not had to install one yet.
Cool video Steve!
Thanks, Nasty!
Sounds like the sheaves are grabbing the belts
They are grabbing a bit. do you have a solution when that happens

I know, I know RTFM but I still think you are a real smart man!
Thanks, r aeronca! Smart guys read the manual 😆
Who s the genius engineer who put the gas train and controls in the blower section
This has been the Cambridge design for a while, these are pretty durable and reliable units, this one is probably 30 years old.
@@EverythingHVACR Ive never seen those before
Are you on the West Coast? We see a lot on the East Coast.
Probably never set up right and or didn't do a proper start up Stay Safe Brother 🙏
Anything is possible, but I think someone had their hands on it who shouldn't have. Thanks, Mrfreeze!
3rd shutdown, adjust BELT !
😆
You ever work on absoluteaire?
I don't think I have. Is it direct fired make up
@@EverythingHVACR yes sir. I've worked on a couple here in north Texas.

@@EverythingHVACR they do use maxitrol. I'm not sure on the actuator.
grease that belt before you start it again, this is the 2nd shut down, creak, creak, creak.
Spoiler, I don't adjust shit lol. Thanks, Neil C
Grease a belt?
@stangaloski4208 yeah, don't grease your belts lol
