Thanks. A few adds on my part. For the xp buff from food you don't have to take something else then take xp the next time. You can select something else then re-select xp and it will apply xp again. One other thing I learned is you can set up to 3 loadouts so if you want to have a build for xp farming you can save that one and switch to the better gear version when you want to get serious. Been playing since yesterday and loving it (although the interface tracking quests/missions/intel is a bit clunky IMO)
Will Robinson true that , the mission tracking is horrible. With that said still enjoying the game lol. Why couldn’t they have the more modern mission tracker like the highlighted route option. I guess they want us to have a hard time finding things.

This game is great I've been playing it for 4 days now this is a lot better than what people claim. I guess because it's not call of duty ill be honest I don't like the new call of duty games. I stopped liking call of duty after black ops that was the last good game that call of duty made. This game is much better in my opinion
One cool thing people may want to know once you upgrade to mk3 on any gun type, you have now upgraded the gun type for the entire game. you don't have to do it again if you get a higher level AK47 it will automatically be mk3
A tip I learned from this video that was explicitly stated; don’t dismantle all of your starter gear, equip your low level gear if you’re running low on low level parts so that you can force low level gear drops from enemies. A bit late for me to start that now but, hopefully I can try doing that now.
No, if you’re low on standard weapon parts, take down enemy drones and the gear convoys which can drop parts by chance but I guess you could try and cheese it your way 🤔

For those who haven't yet discovered it, don't fly to Golem Island (upper right corner of the map) since as you get close you'll receive a warning indicating it's a drone protection zone and you'll die before you even finish reading it. I mention it since it's a rather long flight and not worth the time. I assume the same is true for the land mass in the lower right corner.

I just started playing the game pretty much, I am happy to see how thorough you are and notice that you are the only one that explained anything having to do with the quest page. The quest page and all that stuff confuse the hell out of me I didn't even know that I could do the dailies I was wondering why quest I loaded out she was gone the next I am going to go through your videos and see if there's any more like that if not a very good explanation of things would probably help a lot more people than just me. Yeah I like this game a lot... but the fact that it's online only, even solo, is horrible, the fact that I get DC'd during gameplay forces me to have to rush through bases so I get the loot b4 it kicks me, IN SOLO MODE, you can't even access the damn main menu w/o a connection. Why? It's not like we get to run into other players in the world, so ppl have a right to feel like the microtransactions are forced bc of this

Yes there are flaws with it but every game out there has them, its nothing new for a huge open world to have bugs. The game is fun alone or with friends!
The only thing I would disagree with is... I would say to prioritize the skills that give you an XP boost... That will help tremendously as well, then get whatever you want lol
Think I will buy Breakpoint while it's £20, because I think they will be adding content. Meaning it should start to hold value and be cheapest now as other players buy later. Might have got that wrong though.

I have trouble sometimes with getting weapons and gear crates. I can see them through the walls with their icon, but cannot get to them to open them. Alk12 Shark Base on Seal Island is one crate and another has been in Jace Skell's Villa, Combat Boots. Not important, but would still love to collect the items. So far that's all and I hope there will not be anymore.

On several bases I’ve killed everyone and brought every dead body to the door to open it without success. Are there certain red - locked doors that just never open or am I missing something obvious?
You’re welcome mate. There’s only certain types of doors that open, they normally have an orange keypad. If the door doesn’t open then it’s the wrong type of door 👍
At the time you couldn’t buy the weapons from the store and paying 500 credits for 1 standard weapon part is way worse than taking down a drone and getting 3 parts for 0 credits
Don't break down unused and/or unneeded armor since, unlike weapons, you get nothing for doing so. Instead, sell it/them at the shop in exchange for Skell credits which you can use to buy any weapon you have the blueprint for and it will be at your current gear score. Most cost 800 Skell credits which is quite inexpensive considering you'll routinely have 200,000 or more of at some point.

It is a good game in general but you’ll get bored fairly quick (100hrs or so) because after the story and side missions which don’t last that long you have a tedious gear score grind, the raid and nothing else to do. You should enjoy it though whilst there is stuff to do 👍

Bought the game a week ago and i love it. Around 9hrs playtime and only 7% of the map explored. I will admit there are some bugs but i can live with them. I dont understand the hate this Game got/gets. Anyone thinking about getting the Game, give it a try, dont Listen to the haters
My Tips: Turn guided mode off, this will make you find clues to locate objectives for mission's. Secondly crank up the difficulty, on default the AI is just stupid. The higher the level the smarter they are. For those who really want a challange turn off all of the icons and enemy locators.
No HUD, no guided mode, on extreme all the way. It will take you a whole level of immersion and really make you use your wit and tactics to complete. Good stuff!
Am I the only one that thinks this game feels clunky when compared to GR:Wildlands? The on foot controls in that game felt very smooth and responsive. This game feels clunky and awkward when on foot. Not only that, but the camera is waaaaay close to the player. Nomad takes up nearly a 3rd of the screen, especially when running. I dunno, I'm trying very hard to give this game a chance because I loved Wildlands. I'll keep at it, but thus far, I'm a little disappointed
Filthy Kallahan it is not fast pace. This is a realty game. Not run and gun. It makes you think of what you have to do how to do it and which way to attack. I have no issues moving around climbing and so forth.
I know what you mean. There are definitely some clunky and glitchy aspects to the game. Some of the things wildlands didnt get right this game did and vice versa. I think those minor bugs will get fixed with time as well as the clunkiness.And to the other commentor... no this is not supposed to be a run and gun but that's not what he's saying. Not complaining about that. But the movement can definitely be improved upon. I think any feedback is good and also worth sharing on the games forums or Twitter. You may not think it will help but it does.
Great video still loving this game. I have one tip have 2 preset load out one for higher gear score, 2nd is for scanning enemies for higher xp with gear on 8 items then change back to your assault gear don’t dismantle your the xp gear
Excuse me Mr Heavy, please could you give me your helmet, I have a surprise for you. 😜 "Reset camera side" when leaving cover, so bloody annoying 👌 A couple of additional tips from me :- Some of us like to Invert "Y" Axis especially for the camera and the Helicopter has a convoluted way of doing it . You have to invert the pitch in the controls tab (which also inverts the camera) then you have go to customize buttons and basically re-invert the pitch axis. For some reason the drone has additional controls for the camera and is much easier to do. Get the TAC 50 sniper early as possible as it deals a lot of damage and can 1 shot kill even on the body (not Heavies), it has a huge range so you can remove the supressor and take out those drone buggies at a great distance. Using a helicopter to land on a high main central structure bypassing all the enemies makes it easier to snipe mostly everyone and they cant reach you as long as you take out the radio operators first. Doing it this way generally puts you very near the Blueprints and special weapon attachments. I know this is a stealth game but I'm missing the cover mechanics of The Division 2, having a button to get into cover would be great. The character animation while moving around is clunky and doesnt seem to respond well to button presses, again I've just come off over 1000 hours on Div 2 so I'm used to a different game, however I much prefer the gunplay in Div2. I think you need to give GRB about 5 hours before you get into the meat of the game, I've played about 48 hours in 3 days, it is so compelling. I tried the beta but lost interest after an hour or so, I uninstalled it and thought I'd give the game a miss but then I saw gameplay videos from the "released" game, yours in fact, thought about it for a day then just pressed tha button to buy. So glad that I did.
What's the point in the rocket launcher perk? Or the sync shot perk? I've been using them without unlocking them since the beginning. Are the perks just for crafting ammo?
Great video. It would have been nice with a spoiler alert though as I for example only did the Walker main mission so far and you kind of dig into other bosses and rewards attached to those.

Is this game alot better then Wildlands? It looks kinda the same just with alittle more variety with skills and gear. I liked that one, but I found it to be really repetitive and it got boring for me half way through so I never finished it.
I didn’t play too much Wildlands so I can’t compare, this game will eventually get repetitive but I’m 32 hours in roughly and there’s still a lot of variety in what I’m doing on the game 👍
I started playing last week. Bought the ultimate edition for $40 ,originally sold for $120. All the gear from the Faction missions is already in my inventory. Is that a bonus for getting the ultimate edition? Bonus for me but I'm still doing them.

another good tip is to always leave a man alive in compounds so you can open locked doors after clearing out the compounds I missed so much by not doing this lol

Upgrade any and all weapons to mk2 early on. That way anything u get will be at least that so you do not have to worry about white/green parts. There are not that many guns you gonna use so...saves you the looking, dying and crying
I'm stuck at 251 skill rating and can't get past it. I've completed the game on Regular mode....any suggestions on how to improve and get more points and equipment/supplies???
You’ll only go to 252 through just playing the game and it’s gated behind loot so you just have to keep looting but if you play the raid you can advance to 300 gear score eventually 👍
I always end up lone wolfing, because I always end up being in a squad of idiots who rush and never try to flank the enemy. My strategy is always going to the sides of the map, going around and attacking the enemy from behind, I pretty much won 12 rounds solo, because my team mates always got killed. That map with the water silo, I always go around the hill, climb there and there is usually 2 enemy players camping and observing my dumb dead team mates bodies, waiting for me to try to revive them, I kill them and try to pick up the last 2, usually one is always waiting by the intel device, to reveal my location on the map, and the other is always at the top of the bunker.
Nice strategy buddy and I do the same thing, flanking round the sides can be incredibly helpful but I don’t push too quick or I could be killed instantly and my team will have no way to get to me 👍
@@Born2Game The worst thing is to play with people that have mics, I have to hear them cursing at me because i'm taking it slow and not rushing, when clearly rushing is what got them killed in the first place, had this one dude, cursing me even tho I had killed 3 players of the adversary team. And he was cursing me, saying that I needed to go to the center of the map, I was too slow. Really hope they don't add vote to kick, otherwise my stupid random team mates will most certainly kick me a lot.

@@justinperry44 true but sometime that also deactivates the syncshot. Firing the weapon is also a way to save a sync shot while clearning out a 3rd or even 4th patrolling guard.

Use synch shot drones on heavies they kill them in one shot even if wearing a helmet
Nice I usually try and save them for the buddy system crew but this is helpful.
Or a better tip get the P227 pistol. Best pistol in game because it can one tap heavies every time. Tier doesn’t matter

Use dead bodies to enter locked rooms . Use the drone perk to get exp for every enemy you spot .

Great information. The iron sight/over the shoulder switch makes gun fights much easier and fluid.

Jim Yarbrough exploration mode is the only way to play this game with maximum immersion.

Am I the only one that thinks this game feels clunky when compared to GR:Wildlands? The on foot controls in that game felt very smooth and responsive. This game feels clunky and awkward when on foot. Not only that, but the camera is waaaaay close to the player. Nomad takes up nearly a 3rd of the screen, especially when running.
I dunno, I'm trying very hard to give this game a chance because I loved Wildlands. I'll keep at it, but thus far, I'm a little disappointed
Filthy Kallahan it is not fast pace. This is a realty game. Not run and gun. It makes you think of what you have to do how to do it and which way to attack. I have no issues moving around climbing and so forth.
I know what you mean. There are definitely some clunky and glitchy aspects to the game. Some of the things wildlands didnt get right this game did and vice versa. I think those minor bugs will get fixed with time as well as the clunkiness.And to the other commentor... no this is not supposed to be a run and gun but that's not what he's saying. Not complaining about that. But the movement can definitely be improved upon. I think any feedback is good and also worth sharing on the games forums or Twitter. You may not think it will help but it does.
They changed theovment somewhat from the closed beta. It had was more momentum based sonit took longer to stop after running.
You can change the FOV in the settings so ur character doesn't take nearly a 3rd of ur screen^^

Great video still loving this game. I have one tip have 2 preset load out one for higher gear score, 2nd is for scanning enemies for higher xp with gear on 8 items then change back to your assault gear don’t dismantle your the xp gear

Sync shot drones take out heavies in one shot no matter what
Excuse me Mr Heavy, please could you give me your helmet, I have a surprise for you. 😜 "Reset camera side" when leaving cover, so bloody annoying 👌 A couple of additional tips from me :- Some of us like to Invert "Y" Axis especially for the camera and the Helicopter has a convoluted way of doing it . You have to invert the pitch in the controls tab (which also inverts the camera) then you have go to customize buttons and basically re-invert the pitch axis. For some reason the drone has additional controls for the camera and is much easier to do. Get the TAC 50 sniper early as possible as it deals a lot of damage and can 1 shot kill even on the body (not Heavies), it has a huge range so you can remove the supressor and take out those drone buggies at a great distance. Using a helicopter to land on a high main central structure bypassing all the enemies makes it easier to snipe mostly everyone and they cant reach you as long as you take out the radio operators first. Doing it this way generally puts you very near the Blueprints and special weapon attachments.
I know this is a stealth game but I'm missing the cover mechanics of The Division 2, having a button to get into cover would be great. The character animation while moving around is clunky and doesnt seem to respond well to button presses, again I've just come off over 1000 hours on Div 2 so I'm used to a different game, however I much prefer the gunplay in Div2. I think you need to give GRB about 5 hours before you get into the meat of the game, I've played about 48 hours in 3 days, it is so compelling. I tried the beta but lost interest after an hour or so, I uninstalled it and thought I'd give the game a miss but then I saw gameplay videos from the "released" game, yours in fact, thought about it for a day then just pressed tha button to buy. So glad that I did.

What's the point in the rocket launcher perk? Or the sync shot perk? I've been using them without unlocking them since the beginning. Are the perks just for crafting ammo?
Yeah, the skills for them are pointless. The ability to craft ammo should have unlocked with crafting upgrades

Is this game alot better then Wildlands? It looks kinda the same just with alittle more variety with skills and gear. I liked that one, but I found it to be really repetitive and it got boring for me half way through so I never finished it.
I didn’t play too much Wildlands so I can’t compare, this game will eventually get repetitive but I’m 32 hours in roughly and there’s still a lot of variety in what I’m doing on the game 👍

I started playing last week. Bought the ultimate edition for $40 ,originally sold for $120. All the gear from the Faction missions is already in my inventory. Is that a bonus for getting the ultimate edition? Bonus for me but I'm still doing them.
They broke the faction missions so they gave the rewards to everyone 👍

another good tip is to always leave a man alive in compounds so you can open locked doors after clearing out the compounds I missed so much by not doing this lol

Upgrade any and all weapons to mk2 early on. That way anything u get will be at least that so you do not have to worry about white/green parts. There are not that many guns you gonna use so...saves you the looking, dying and crying

I'm stuck at 251 skill rating and can't get past it. I've completed the game on Regular mode....any suggestions on how to improve and get more points and equipment/supplies???
You’ll only go to 252 through just playing the game and it’s gated behind loot so you just have to keep looting but if you play the raid you can advance to 300 gear score eventually 👍

I always end up lone wolfing, because I always end up being in a squad of idiots who rush and never try to flank the enemy.
My strategy is always going to the sides of the map, going around and attacking the enemy from behind, I pretty much won 12 rounds solo, because my team mates always got killed.
That map with the water silo, I always go around the hill, climb there and there is usually 2 enemy players camping and observing my dumb dead team mates bodies, waiting for me to try to revive them, I kill them and try to pick up the last 2, usually one is always waiting by the intel device, to reveal my location on the map, and the other is always at the top of the bunker.
Nice strategy buddy and I do the same thing, flanking round the sides can be incredibly helpful but I don’t push too quick or I could be killed instantly and my team will have no way to get to me 👍
@@Born2Game The worst thing is to play with people that have mics, I have to hear them cursing at me because i'm taking it slow and not rushing, when clearly rushing is what got them killed in the first place, had this one dude, cursing me even tho I had killed 3 players of the adversary team.
And he was cursing me, saying that I needed to go to the center of the map, I was too slow.
Really hope they don't add vote to kick, otherwise my stupid random team mates will most certainly kick me a lot.

For the life of me I cannot get rid of the bandages on my character! Any suggestions?
When you have people marked with sync shots. Fire your weapon will activate them. This way you can remain stealth.
If you hold LB they will go off without you having to fire a bullet.
@@justinperry44 true but sometime that also deactivates the syncshot. Firing the weapon is also a way to save a sync shot while clearning out a 3rd or even 4th patrolling guard.
