Not my favorite episode of the season but I love watching Jodie work. It’s great. Can't wait for The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures in July next year. It's going to be glorious.
Unlike most fans i did enjoy this episode my only complaint is the scene where the spider is suffering a slow painful death despite my naracnaphobia i would never wish that on any living creature i found it out of the character of the Doctor when she would rather let it suffer than giving it a mercy killing which Trump guy kind of did unintenionally.
I know you said once before you might never react to Classic Who but i would however highly recommend watching the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee's) last story "Planet of the Spiders" its considered one of the most classic and best Dr. Who stories of all time.

"😊I've taken to bringing a cheese & pickle sandwich" The suffocating the spiders to death isn't much better than the gun. "You're such a knob" British lessons are paying off 😂
I hate this era so much but this probably wins the award for scariest episode as I literally just can’t look at the screen, it’s terrifying, uncomfortable, makes you hide and scream, it’s awful 😭

" honestly i don't care enough for this ep to write a long explanation why its rated so poorly. maybe someone else will do down below. sorry 5.5/10 thank you for your reaction though, im glad you seemed to enjoy it even if i can't.
Not had time to watch yet. But can I assume from the thumbnail that you are not overly fond of spiders? Perhaps that is why you don't like eye close ups - most spiders have 8 ...

Like Rose, this was criticised for being a Seventies remake - this time, the Green Death. They may well have name checked the original company.
There's some "8 legs" in 2 of the big movie franchises. If you've seen them, how did you get on? Were you in the cinema? 🙂
