I’ve been in solar and dealt with thousands of business owners from various companies since I was 19. The amount of POS people who do not value their clients or people in general is shocking. Considering this is how you maintain a great reputation, get referrals and sleep at night knowing you’re a good person running a solid business - you would think more owners and managers would at least pretend to care about the people who make them profitable. What surprises me more tho is the amount of people who get scammed by these companies and do jack shit about it. That is what allows them to stay in business and hurt other people. The amount of people someone has to screw over to FINALLY get slammed in the sales world is appalling. It’s after hundreds of thousands of dollars are made and that’s in a few years. They always fall off their little pedal stool tho, and usually hard. Still, I wish more people would hold these scumbags accountable. A decent human being, would not equate all of their decision-making process as a business transaction, that is indeed psychopathic to manage human interactions. Furthermore, we don't know their back-and-forth verbal exchange, but he didn't have to diminish their tragedy by insulting them, in public on their website at that. Did you also miss the part that he was convicted of multiple counts of fraud (150 couples were cheated) at the end? Why are you so defensive whenever you see someone claim "CEO bad"?

The photography owner could have chosen to be a decent human being, but he made multiple decisions that were just lacking compassion and humanity. But I suppose people have done far worse to make far less money. Not that it justifies anyone's action. He didn't give any refund at all because he had a habit of scamming couples for not doing the contracted work.

I’ve been in solar and dealt with thousands of business owners from various companies since I was 19. The amount of POS people who do not value their clients or people in general is shocking. Considering this is how you maintain a great reputation, get referrals and sleep at night knowing you’re a good person running a solid business - you would think more owners and managers would at least pretend to care about the people who make them profitable. What surprises me more tho is the amount of people who get scammed by these companies and do jack shit about it. That is what allows them to stay in business and hurt other people. The amount of people someone has to screw over to FINALLY get slammed in the sales world is appalling. It’s after hundreds of thousands of dollars are made and that’s in a few years. They always fall off their little pedal stool tho, and usually hard. Still, I wish more people would hold these scumbags accountable. They make it much more difficult for those of us who work hard and have integrity.

No, he'd have a solid case, especially if the photo was unlicensed. But any reasonable jury would absolutely meet the standard number needed in a civil case, and likely impose heavy punitive damages to take vicarious revenge on a psychopath.
